I hate to be the one to say something anything anti-Giants at this time, what with their winning their first world championship since 1954 and all the warm and fuzzy feelings that came along with it.
But ... I just can't pass this up.
Seriously, Pablo Sandoval? You can't stick in the starting lineup, but you're ready to throw down a sundae like this? At least keep it in private, hombre. I'm not sure who this PR agency is working for (the restaurant, I'm guessing), but no way should the Panda put his stamp approval on this for public consumption (pun indeed intended).
Here's the full pitch, straight from my in-box:
I thought you may be interested in the following news from San Francisco considering that you are home to a Giants' Minor League Team! After the SF Giants celebrated their World Series championship with a ticker-tape parade in downtown San Francisco on November 3rd, Giants infielder Pablo "The Panda" Sandoval relaxed with his family at Buca di Beppo Italian restaurant on Howard Street in SF. Photo is below for your reference and can be re-sent as an attachment.
Pablo's favorite dish is the Shrimp Fra Diavolo, sautéed garlic shrimp and a spicy rosa sauce with imported Italian penne pasta. In the photo below, Pablo and his family are enjoying the Colossal Brownie Sundae for dessert -- twelve decadent chunks of freshly-baked brownies layered with six scoops of vanilla bean and chocolate gelato, topped with caramel and chocolate sauces then buried in mounds of whipped cream. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks so much for considering.
Well, enjoy it, Pablo. Shall we reserve you a spot at the Chuk come April?
