Quick look at Fresno State basketball recruiting targets

Today was the first day of the NCAA men's basketball signing period, and Fresno State was quiet. But the Bulldogs are hoping to nail a couple of recruits in the coming days. Two could sign Friday. One might have to wait until next week.

They already landed El Segundo High's John Ryan in the the fall. They are targeting G Tyler Johnson (St. Francis High, Mountain View, Ca.) and G Kevin Olekaibe (Cimarron-Memorial High, Las Vegas, Nev.) and fans should also see the long-awaited signing of forward Bracken Funk (Lone Peak High, Highland, Utah).

We've already talked tons about Johnson, who led his team to the state finals. Johnson could sign next week.

Funk, a Utah Class 5A state champion, committed to the Bulldogs in Sept. 2007 but has gone on a Mormon mission since then.

Olekaibe led the state of Nevada in scoring last season with 35.6 points per game. Here's a story on Olekaibe.

I do not see anything about recruiting a new coach for men's basketball?
