Ryan Mathews may be out for today's game, but 16 players in Tech's 2-deep roster have been out for at least a half because of injury this season.

The injuries have restricted Tech's playbook and formations and caused the Bulldogs to burn redshirts in the second half of the season. One of the key losses has been that of All-WAC safety Antonio Baker, but a number of other key players have been slowed as well.

Daniel Porter and Phil Livas -- two of Tech's best playmakers -- are expected to play today, but the number of snaps they'll receive is still up in the air.
