Parlier middleweight Mike Moreno takes on veteran mixed martial artist Xavier Foupa-Pokam in the main event of the Tachi Palace Fights card scheduled for Dec. 3 at the Lemoore casino.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with fights starting at 6:30.
Moreno, a talented up-and-comer, is 5-2 in his MMA career. Foupa-Pokam, a native of Paris, is 20-11.
The co-main event on a 10-bout card pits featherweight Eddie Yagin (13-3-1) against Diego Saraiva (13-8-1).
Other feature bouts include Cyrille Diabate (14-6-1), a former coach on Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter" against Rob Smith (20-13-1) in a light heavyweight fight and Ulysses Gomez (4-1) against Ben Nguyen (4-2) in a battle of promising flyweights.
The rest of the card has welterweight Kyle Pimentel (7-0) vs. Marcus Gains (6-7); featherweight Shawn Klarcyk (9-4) of Porterville against Jesse Bowen (6-3); Lemoore heavyweight Dashi Salas (1-0) against Fresno's Mike Guirdy (1-0); Lemoore welterweight Andrew Martinez (5-2-1) against Coarsegold's Nikk Covert (3-4) and lightweight Romulo Melo (2-0) against an opponent to be determined.
