Lorne Bell's first career interception has put Fresno State on the board for the first time tonight.

After scoring 36.5 ppg, Fresno State has started a bit slow.

The team failed to get a first down on their first three drives, one of which ended because of a fumble.

The Bulldogs dodged a bullet there by holding on defense and forcing a missed field goal.

New Mexico State had already scored a field goal after Seth Smith (former COS RB) ran for 70 yards from the Aggies 25. The Bulldogs held after the run to force a field goal, which the Aggies hit.

After Ryan Colburn was picked off in the end zone, Bell came up with his own INT, running it 16 yards for the score.
