So far it's been the domination some expected, though not how it was expcected.

The Bulldogs have made plays of their own and taken advantage of Hawaii's mistakes to get to this point.

The Bulldogs were expected to run all over the Warriors and RBs Ryan Mathews and Lonyae Miller have scored.

But the game-changing plays have been made on special teams.

They blocked a kick in the first quarter and Ben Jacobs returned it 67 yards to the Hawaii 8, setting up a touchdown. Hawaii punt returner Ryan Henry fumbled a punt catch and long snapper Bobby Shepard, who hustled all the way down field, recovered it.

With 1:39 remaining and the the Bulldogs at the Warriors 30, they ran twice, seemingly satisfied to kick a field goal. On third down, though, the Bulldogs connected for a for a 17-yard touchdown. QB Ryan Colburn pumped faked to receiver Chastin West, then hit him on a corner route on the left side and West kicked the pylon to score.
