Tigers climbing in the football rankings

Reedley College made the biggest jump in the community college coaches Northern California football rankings this week after securing its first win.

The Tigers beat previous No. 5 Foothill and leaped from 18th into the No. 8 position. Fresno City also benefitted from its victory over previous No. 8 American River, climbing from 17th to No. 12.

College of the Sequoias and West Hills both lost on Saturday and fell to Nos. 15 and 16, respectively. Butte is No. 1 followed by San Francisco, Santa Rosa, San Mateo and Sierra in the top five.
