Tulare's James Stallworth set a state and meet record n the long jump in 1989 with a leap of 26-04.75. The second-best mark in state history belongs to Edison's Randy Williams, who jumped 26-03.75 in 1971.
Clovis' Latrese Johnson set the state record in the high jump with a mark of 6-2.75 in 1985, the same year she set the state meet record with a jump of 6-0.
Other names that decorate the all-time records page include former Olympians such as Marion Jones and Allyson Felix.
