Those who attended Central's 66-65 overtime win over Edison Tuesday say it was the game of the year to date in the Central Section. Without seeing it, three things struck me:
1. That's a must nonleague game on the West Side that should be played every year.
2. Huge for power-on-the-rise Central, which is exciting to watch under coach Loren LeBeau.
3. This occurred not long after defending D-I state champion McClymonds beat Central by 42 and Edison by 28 in the Clovis Elks Christmas Classic.
I did see those, and was wondering how two-time defending D-I section champion Clovis East would stand up to McClymonds. Tonight, will get a better feel of the Timberwolves in a nonleague showdown with Edison.

Hi. I live in Sterling Alaska and read the sports page generally everyday. I played football for FSU in 1959-60.
I read the article about the wrestling coaches at Clovis being suspended for the year, but never saw anything else about why, etc. Did I miss the article or are they trying to put a lid on it.
I would appreciate any information on the matter.
Thanks, Ernie Wall
