Not much to celebrate on All-WAC team

The WAC announced its all-conference awards today and not many Bulldogs were named.

The only first-team player was senior offensive tackle Bobby Lepori, who was named the O-line MVP at the Bulldogs' awards banquet last night.


The Bulldogs had five second-team players:
Senior tight end Bear Pascoe
Sophomore guard Andrew Jackson
Sophomore LB Chris Carter
Sophomore LB Ben Jacobs
Junior safety Moses Harris

Meanwhile Boise State had 11 players on both the first and second teams ... and the coach of the year went to Broncos coach Chris Petersen.
Nevada had 10 players selected to the teams.
San Jose State had 8.
Hawaii had 7.
La. Tech had 6.
Idaho had 5.
New Mexico State had 3.
Utah State had 3.
