Radio legend Paul Harvey has died, according to an article on The Moderate Voice. He was 90 years old. I heard it first from a Facebook posting by Ray Arthur, who called Harvey "the last gentleman Republican Commentator."
UPDATE: Here's a link to an Associated Press story on the Bee's web site.
Who is going to dispute this?
Paul Harvey is one of the first voices I remember hearing on the radio as a child. What a fine gentleman!
Paul Harvey was OK but I never knew if it was news or I was being set up for a commercial and how typical of "Nurse Lisa" to find an obscure person or quote to take a dig at Republicans.I challenge her to name one liberal commentator that is either successful or a gentleman.
Walter Cronkite

RE: Rich
of course Walter Cronkite, and there was David Brinkley, Frank Reynolds and a host of others.
"Dizzy and Just Dick"... Any living ones?
Funny if I called you "just Dick" it wouldn't be for a shortend version of your name.
"Just Dick"...Is my question that difficult?BTW...how are you and "Dizzy" holding up in "The Obama Recession"? He owns it now and are all your socialist fantasies becoming reality or soon to be? Thanks you guys!
