Update on Orange Cove City Council post
I posted a blog on July 24 about former Orange Cove City Council member Diana Guerra Silva causing a ruckus at a recent City Council meeting when she yelled at Council Member Glenda Hill and accused her of failing to pay business license fees.
The meeting quickly got out of hand. Some people booed Silva and others shouted back. It was all captured in the last 30 seconds of this video posted on The Orange Cove & Mountain Times Web site.
I promised to post an update once I got Hill's response to Silva's accusations. Here it is: Hill says that she never paid business license fees because she's never owned a business in the city. Hill is a realtor for Newton and Sons Real Estate, which is based in Dinuba and does business in Orange Cove.
