Just got off the phone with the damtender at Friant, and the lake is officially full.

That's not particularly big news, even in a dry year. This is an under-sized lake. But it is interesting to see after the weather fooled folks into expecting only a 25% delivery of water supplies this summer.

Federal officials tell me they are balancing the inflow and the outflow, meaning the lake should remain full for most of this month. Then, it will drop like a stone in July and August.
