arrowChick-fil-A tests spicy here

chick2.jpg

There's something different on the Chick-fil-A menu here. The chain is testing a new spicy chicken sandwich in all its California restaurants -- including the two in Fresno:

As if they need a test to find out if Californians like their food spicy.

At any rate, the test is a continuation of the testing in Baltimore, Md., and Jacksonville, Fla. The company says people repeatedly ask for a spicy option on the menu. The sandwich starts at $3.25 and can be part of a combo meal. If it's successful, it will be added to the menu nationally.

I won't be trying it as I'm a vegetarian, but the description sure sounds good (which is making me a tad uncomfortable).

A spicy variation of its signature hand-breaded Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, the Spicy Sandwich is seasoned with a fiery blend of peppers, pressure-cooked in 100 percent refined peanut oil and served on a toasted buttered bun with two pickle chips.

I just had one of these! Wow they are real good.

Much, much better than the Jack-in-Box spicy chicken.

Plus, Chick-fil-a is so very clean and staff is top-notch.

Great work chef's!
