Barbie gets tattooed; celebrates 50th birthday
What better way for Barbie to celebrate her 50th birthday than to get a tattoo?
It's Tramp Stamp Barbie!
Actually, it's Totally Stylin' Tattoos Barbie, who comes with a gun to apply tattoos to both Barbie and owner. Keep reading to see the commercial for the tatted up Barbie.
The tattoos are causing some outrage among parents, according to this story. (Really, it's worth reading, there's some skeletons in Barbie's closet, like a butterfly tattoo in 1999 and a friend who -- gasp -- got pregnant. I also like the story's mention of what's next -- a divorce Barbie who runs off with all of Ken's stuff?)
Hey, as long as there's no gang tattoos in that box, I'm fine with a modern day Barbie. What do you think? Would you buy this doll for a child?

Comments:
I am a fuddie-duddie (and a nerd). We don't do Barbies to begin with. Now my daughter has had them (gifts) but she is bored with them and gave them away.
