It's 211 miles later and the final leg of the JMT hike is over. At around 2 p.m., Marek and Tomas came off the trail to eventually meet up with John Rich and a ride home. First, though, is the important stuff -- some cheeseburgers, fries and showers at Whitney Portal Store. Jim and Emily also finish the hike with their families welcoming them back to "civilization."
