Some of you don't look to be in very good shape. Be careful, don't over do it. Do you have a safety plan?

It's great to read about desk jockeys taking an adventure through mother nature!
All kidding aside I agree with the previous post. Pace yourselves and I hope your wearing the proper socks for hiking if not wear two pair of cotton socks. Blisters around the ankles are not fun. Also I hope your hiking boots are kind of broken in, this can promote blisters too.
-just a tid bit of information to be aware of.

This is the best inviomental trip the fresno bee has ever taken. I think it,s great.I for one well follow this all the way.I wanted to take that hike, but never did.Thank,s again.

I'm an experienced backpacker but can't do it anymore due to bad knees and a bad foot. So, I will join you on this trek, by checking in each day of your hike.
I've been on part of the JMT and envy you the experience you're going to have.
I hope you've prepared for it by doing some conditioning. I'm looking forward to reading your blogs.
