Rock band A Day to Remember — popular with the teenage/Warped Tour crowd — will roll back into Fresno on April 19, as part of a just-announced spring tour.
The all-ages show is at Rainbow Ballroom and also features Of Mice & Men and Issues. Tickets are on sale Friday and cost $28.50. Here’s a Facebook event link and the ticket page via Vallitix.
We’ve seen ADTR in Fresno numerous times over the years, the most recently at the New Rock 104.1 Nightmare Before Christmas concert at Selland Arena in December 2011. Before that, it was at the Rotary Amphitheater at Woodward Park in April 2011 and at Rainbow Ballroom in May 2010.
Like that previous Rainbow show, this one is being promoted by Numbskull Productions. Below is a video from the band’s Woodward Park appearance.
LADY ANTEBELLUM: The big headliner of the week is country trio Lady Antebellum, playing Wednesday at Save Mart Center. You’re too late for our giveaway. Don’t be too late to get tickets too.
TONIGHT & WEDNESDAY: Starline hosts back-to-back nights of hard rock for the all-ages crowd — Sleeping With Sirens plays tonight, Of Mice & Men plays Wednesday. Tickets for both here.
OF LOCAL NOTE ON FRIDAY: Indie band The Soma Holidays play a reunion gig Friday at Audie’s Olympic while local ska legends Let’s Go Bowling play Fulton 55, one of their only-a-few-times-per-year performances.
HEY, I KNOW THAT GUY: Two rock bands come visit the Valley this weekend with names you might not know, but dudes you might: The Accident Experiment (with Marcos Curiel from P.O.D.) plays Babylon on Friday, then Mini Mansions (with Michael Shuman of Queens of the Stone Age) plays at The Cellar Door in Visalia on Saturday.
