The Fresno Bee has decided not to publish critical reviews of the philharmonic this year due to budget restrictions. You can read George Warren’s reviews this season online here.

Kathy says:

I thought the concert was great. I really liked the pairing of Ansel Adams photos and the composition. It was like a wonderful adventure through the amazing scenery of the West.

Jeanne says:

Unlike George Warren (see review) our little group liked the Brubeck/Adams combination, cloying or not.
We also enjoyed the Pictures..Exhibition. Who doesn’t?
The audience appeared to be enthusiastic about both of the above, as well as Shannon Lee. Much sustained applause.

Nora Otrohet says:

I loved the concert!! And the audience could have been bettter.. more enthusasim, but overall good!

Ellen Peterson says:

We loved the concert, as did everyone around us. I was lamenting the fact that there would be no encores, when the gentleman in front of us reminded me that with performances that beautifully orchestrated and presented, none were necessary. Shannon Lee was unbelievable! Thanks Fresno Phil for a creative pairing and inspiring pieces!

Lee Leone says:

I’ve heard violinists & this was the most incredible performance I’ve ever heard….So precise & clean, clear tones. and….17! What a future. Please bring her back soon. The 1st half of the concert was wonderful..the melding of all facets of artistic endeavor made it a memorable evening…..Grazi
