Lots of interesting concert tidbits to share:

OZOMATLI
Eclectic Latin/hip-hop band Ozomatli returns to Fresno to headline Tower Theatre on April 20. Last time it was in Fresno, Ozomatli packed Starline. It’s also played at Rainbow Ballroom in the past.

Tickets for this show go on sale at 10 a.m. March 9. They cost $20, $25 and $30 in advance, and $3 more the day of the show. Details: (559) 485-9050.

TECH N9NE
According to a new batch of tour dates released by rapper Tech N9ne, he’s returning to Fresno on April 20 as well, for a show at Rome Nightclub.

General tickets aren’t on sale yet, but the rapper is selling VIP ticket packages on his website for $125 that include a one-hour meet-and-greet, a T-shirt and all sorts of knick-knacks like playing cards and sticky notes. Details: strangevip.com.

MAT KEARNEY
Pop singer Mat Kearney is another artist making a return trip to Fresno. He’s lined up an April 9 date at Fulton 55. Tickets are on sale now, costing $20-$25. If you like Jason Mraz, check out Kearney. He recently played in radio station Y101′s Unplugged concert series.

NORTEC COLLECTIVE
Another notable addition to Fulton 55′s calendar: Bostich and Fussible, two members of influential Latin fusion group Nortec Collective, are coming to Fresno on March 14.

The band mixes traditional Norteno music with techno — thus “Nortec.” It’s a loose collective of artists, which can vary from project to project. Bostich and Fussible are two of Nortec’s most celebrated contributors, though. Their 2010 release, “Bulevar 2000″ was nominated for a Grammy.

Tickets are on sale now, costing $20-$25. The flier is also soooo dope.

THE KNUX
Hip-hop duo The Knux has Fresno on its upcoming West Coast tour, stopping March 13 at Audie’s Olympic.

The group’s style is a bit different than typical hip-hop, with indie rock and electro influences. Check out “Run” for a sample. Tickets cost $8. Chuck Dimes and Collecto open.
