Concert News: Winter Jam heads to Fresno

wj11_header_new1.jpg

The Save Mart Center has landed another Christian music festival — Winter Jam 2011, which brings Newsboys, Kutless, Matthew West, RED, Fireflight, Newsong and KJ-52 to town on Nov. 19 with speaker Tony Nolan in tow.

The tour has a ticketing model similar to the Rock and Worship Roadshow, which has become an annual hit in Fresno. Tickets are only available at the door and are modestly priced at $10. The Winter Jam tour has actually been around longer, though. This is its 16th year, though, as far as I know, its first time in Fresno.

IN OTHER SAVE MART CENTER NEWS:
The arena has also recently announced two events that may be of interest: WWE’s “Raw” returns Aug. 6 while “Barney Live in Concert” arrives for two shows Aug. 9
