To-Do Tonight: Hyper Crushing your plans

Sorry, Hyper Crush and Far East Movement fans, tonight’s Fresno tour stop has been canceled because of Starline going 21+. We talked about it already, but it seemed like a lot of people were hyped for this show, so it’s worth repeating.

Here are a couple other options for tonight, which may or may not interest Hyper Crush fans. (OK, they probably won’t)

  • Jeremy “Elvis” Pearce, Fresno’s chief Elvis tribute artist, is having a show at Roger Rocka’s focusing on The King’s blues catalog. Tickets cost $55 — but that includes dinner, I think.
  • Portland duo John Heart Jackie is in town and playing a free 10 p.m. show at Veni Vidi Vici. NPR Music has said nice things about them: “Add John Heart Jackie to the growing list of artists to watch from Portland, Oregon. the duo manages to pack a lot of beauty into [its] handmade music, largely because of the enchanting two-part harmonies.”
