To-Do Tonight: Say ‘I do’ to Black Veil Brides
Tonight’s show at Club Retro oughta be packed out with kids going nuts to the goth-metal sounds of Black Veil Brides.
This L.A. band is made up of screamy , black-leather loving, make-up wearing dudes and dudettes who’ve built enough of a following that their debut album, “We Stitch These Wounds” hit No. 1 on the Billboard indie chart when it was released in July.
So Black Veil Brides are very much a “band-of-the-moment” for the Warped Tour sect of young rock fans. This tour — which also includes Vampires Everywhere and Modern Day Escape — is sponsored by Hot Topic.
If you’re giddy, thank Tim Gardea for bringing them through Fresno. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $15. They were available in advance at Valentino’s, but I’m not sure if they’re still selling them today. But you could try.

How did they all find Nikki Sixx wigs?
L.A. is a city of wonders.
Club Retro’s the place where they take the kids and even the band in a back room and make them admit to being witches…

I wouldn’t let my kid go there.
