To-Do Tonight: The Blues King, the Kings of the Ring and a Death March

While you may have the day off work today, Fresno, some people are working hard to keep you entertaining. There are big events tonight at Saroyan Theatre and Save Mart Center, as both B.B. King and World Wrestling Entertainment are in town.

King is at Saroyan Theatre, and a quick check of Ticketmaster showed there were still some pretty good tickets left. So jump on that if you’re looking for tickets to one of the greatest bluesmen we’ve ever seen.

The WWE, meanwhile, has one of its live-for-TV shows tonight, which are always one of the biggest events of the year at Save Mart Center. Last week, The Rock returned to WWE. Don’t count on him being in Fresno tonight (but ya never know). The WWE, however, has been teasing the return of another legend tonight — The Undertaker.

Tickets are still available. Because the event starts at 5:30 p.m., the Save Mart Center has been issuing traffic warnings all weekend, obviously trying to avoid a repeat of what happened last week.

Local rock band Tokyo Death March — which sounds like it could be a pro wrestling move, no? — is playing a free show tonight at Veni Vidi Vici. So if you prefer local entertainment, that’s the place to be.
