Can someone explain this to me?

Every time I watch “Justified” on FX — seriously, one of the best shows on TV, btw — I see this commercial for “Two and a Half Men” that says it’s on “weeknights and Thursdays.” Huh? Isn’t that like me saying this blog is online and on the Internet?

Each time I see the commercial, my little brain sputters to decipher its meaning. Each time, I’m stumped. So I’m asking you, Beehivers, am I just really dense and I’m missing it? Or is somebody at FX just a moron?

I’m going to take a wild guess and say Thursdays are new episodes and reruns air every weekday?

Ann says:

Maybe there are reruns during the day time, and the current season is running on Thursday nights. I don’t know, because I don’t watch. The person who wrote that copy wasn’t wearing his/her thinking cap. Maybe TV stations never issue those to employees.

If I hear one more TV talking head use the expression “consensus of opinion,” I’ll be writing a letter.

Jskrilla6 says:

Maybe they’re advertising there regularly scheduled broadcast times for mon, tue, wed, and Friday, but airs at 8pm on thursdays?

No wonder you like me! I’m from KY just like Justified!

Mike Oz says:

Do you know Boyd Crowder?

It’s on at 7 or 7:30 in reruns five days of the week. I think new episodes are on Thursdays after 8. But… didn’t the show get canceled? Either way, it’s bad grammar, or at least confusing.

Susan G Neville says:

If anyone has seen a new episode of Two and Half Men, I will be shocked!! Advertising Two and Half Men on FX is just like those stations that advertise their news programs while you are watching that same news program. Makes no sense to me.

Justified is awesome. I am not sure how I feel about Boyd going to the dark side again. I always liked the mystique thinking he could anytime, but then I want to believe he is one of the good guys and will prove that down the road. It could still happen.

George B. Feist (DUKE) says:

Justified is my favorite drama on TV. I have to DVR it because the commercials are many during the quick hour. Timothy to me was great on DEADWOOD.

By the by the show is filmed…

in these cities….

Kittanning, Pennsylvania, USA

Los Angeles, California, USA

Pasadena, California, USA

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Washington, Pennsylvania, USA

Hitman (2007) IF YOU LIKE TIMOTHY…rent this movie.

A gun-for-hire “Hitman” is a genetically-engineered, elite assassin known only as Agent 47 hired by a group known only as ‘The Organization’ is ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Eastern Europe. But even 47 couldn’t anticipate a “random equation” in his life exactitude: the unexpected stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a mysterious Russian woman.
