To-Do Tonight: Twestival, City Jazz, Salsa, Buffalo, Catz, Xotica and more
It’s a very packed Thursday night around the ‘No. Where you gonna be?
I’ll be at Tokyo Garden reppin’ The Beehive at Fresno’s Twestival (read more about it here) where Patrick Contreras, Abigail Nolte and others will be performing.
Here’s a rundown of what else is happening:
- Starline has live salsa with touring act Angel Lebron.
- Latin radio station La Kalle has its Reventon 2010 concert at Selland Arena with Chino Y Nacho, Angel y Khriz and more. Today is the first night of Fresno City College’s City Jazz Festival. Headliner Tim Ries (he plays sax in The Rolling Stones, maybe you’ve heard of them) performs in the FCC Theater at 7:30 p.m.
- On the local music front: Buffalo Guns are playing at Audie’s Olympic and Super Lucky Catz are at The Standard.
- Xotica, the weekly drag show at The Express, is celebrating its six-year anniversary with a “House of Exotica” show.
Here are some visuals and a few other events:
