Scoopy Goes to Disneyland
Our trusty mascot Scoopy took some time off last week and flew down to Disneyland.
Cool fact: Scoopy was actually created by Disney. So going to Disneyland was more than a vacation. It was a homecoming.
As you can see from Scoopy’s D-Land scrapbook below, it was a thrill to be back “home,” to hunt down Walt and try to get some face time with Mickey.
Though, Scoopy was a little eager for acceptance from the Disney family.
Of course, Scoopy hit some rides and gift shops along the way. Check out all photos below.
Don’t forget that you can follow Scoopy (@scoopy559) on Twitter.
“I’m all packed and ready to go”
“… And I get to see my Disney family.”
“Who here can fly right through that Mickey wreath? I can.”
“Dang! That’s a big Christmas tree.
Hope there’s a big present for me under it.”
“Papa! Papa! It’s me! Hi Mickey, how’s it going?”
“That horse totally almost ran me over. Doesn’t it know who I am?”
“Surely, I can come back here, right? No?!? Why not?”
“C’mon, don’t you see the family resemblance?”
“‘Tis a small world indeed — but a big, big line.”
“Look at me! I can fly too!”
“We all agree, I’m way more handsome, right?”
“Everyone wants Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride”
“Can’t eat me whale, I fly to fast for you.”
“Hangin’ with some critters.”
“Yes, they still made me wait in line for the Matterhorn.”
“See? Kids love me.”
“I’m scared. I heard this is a scary ride.”
“Honestly, mouse ears are kinda overrated.”
“I promise I’d be a good addition to the show.”
“Lots of people here. Good thing I can fly around the crowds.”
“I ain’t afraid of no ghosts”
“I’m totally gonna get Johnny Depp’s autograph.”
“Hi, I’m here to trade in my hos.”
“This LIttle Nemo ride is laaaame.
They shoulda made a Scoopy ride instead.”
“I think it’s a good look for me? What do you think?”
“Still made time to check out my favorite blog.”
“Hey, there’s Mickey. I wonder if he’ll talk to me this time.
Sidebar: I’ve always felt like Mickey didn’t really like me.”
“Mickey! Mickey! Over here, man! It’s me, Scoopy! Miiiiiickey!”
“I knew you’d remember me, Mick. I guess you’re a good dude.”
