FOX orders another season of ‘Glee’

63rd Primetime Emmy Awards - Arrivals.JPG “Glee” will go on without Clovis East graduate Chris Colfer as FOX has ordered a fourth season of the musical comedy. Series creator Ryan Murphy has said Colfer — along with Lea Michele and Cory Monteith — will graduate at the end of this season.

The network also ordered a second season of “New Girl” and a third season of “Raising Hope.”

” ‘Glee’ has continued its success as a genre-defying, global cultural phenomenon,” says Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. Reilly. “All three of these comedies add a fresh and distinctive flavor to our Tuesday nights, and I’m really happy to bring them back to our air next season.”

New episodes of “Glee” begin at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

….aaaannnnd no. Colfer will still be in the series, as will other “seniors”, according to E! Online, HuffPost, and others reporting the same story.

I watched the “Behind the Actors Studio” with some of the cast of Glee and the creator said just because they graduate doesn’t mean you wont be seeing them in the future, referring to Lea, Chris and Cory. It was a great episode.

I am excited that there will be another season of “New Girl”. An easy, funny show to watch.
