Kristin says:

I absolutely think it’s a good idea for two main reasons: 1) condensing all the stuff that happens in the book into a 2 hour-ish movie would just leave out too much good stuff and 2) making the movie long enough to contain all the good stuff from the book would just make it ridiculously long and hard to sit through! And I guess from a filmmakers point of view that’s two chances to make money instead of just one!

Natali says:

I actually do think it’s a good idea. I am sure it’s more profitable to draw it out to five movies, but beyond that, the 4th book had SO much going on, I really didn’t see how they could fit it in one movie. Nothing is worse than seeing a book you loved brought to life only to discover some of the integral pieces are missing due to time constraints.

Michelle Leon says:

I think cutting the book into 2 movies is a smart idea for everyone involved in making the movies because it just equals more money in the end for them. But it could also be a curse for some of the major actors involved who want the series to be over with so they could go onto other projects.

Chris says:

Yes, 2 reasons, 1. Two movies=more money for them & 2. More time
in a empty house for me :)

Stacey says:

I think it’s a good idea because no movie adaptation can ever compete with the book it came from, and I think a lot of that has to do with the running time restrictions a movie has to have so that people will sit through it. Spliting it up will not only give more time to tell the story, but also more time to film the story. I would rather it take longer to film and have two really good quality films that stay true to the book than a rushed single movie that cuts out important parts of the story.

Beckie tetrault says:

Very good idea, 2 movies make more $$ then one ;)

erica says:

I agree that making it into two movies is a good idea. I felt like so much context was left out of the first and second movies. As an avid reader I always expect that out of the movie version but it is still diappointing. My other specific reason is that there were some many interesting characters that start appearing in Eclipse and then continue into Breaking Dawn- it would be nice to take some extra time and tell some of their stories instead of just the main dozen people or so.

erica says:

You sound like my Husband…but I don’t think you are him. :)

Blanca Munoz says:

I think it’s the best idea ever! There is far too many good parts in the 4th book that making only one movie would leave a lot of movie goers unhappy! I am really looking forward to seeing how all of these movies will turn out!

Modesty Sand says:

Absolutely a good thing to go for 2 movies! If you’ve read the book you know there is no way to sum it all up in one 2 hour film! There is so much drama, romance and action that it has to be spread around! Marriage, pregnancy, death, rebirth, motherhood and a war to fight….can’t do it all in a day ;)

Kristin M. says:

I think spliting Breaking Dawn into two movies is a good idea, as long as there is not a long span of time in between their releases. There is so much going on in the last book that it would be great if they can get as much out of it as possible. I am not saying it will be exactly like the book; movies never are. I just hate when a person, scene or storyline is left out of the movie when it seemed so important in the book!

Jess says:

I think it’s a good idea to make Breaking Dawn into two movies, because so much happens in the book that one movie wouldn’t cover it. And If it did, the movie would be 4+ and way too long to sit though. It would make more money and it would add more to the hype.

xo

Jessica says:

Yes, because the more Taylor Lautner, the better!

Genevieve says:

Even though I haven’t read Breaking Dawn(which I plan on doing after seeing Eclipse), making two movies will give some people time to read the books, get into the story line and catch up. I myself didn’t watch twilight, or read the books until a year after it was released. I think it’s a great idea.

Jennifer says:

First – Can’t believe I’m going for this one but my best friend is a Twilight FANATIC.

Second – I did in fact read the books and that last one was ridiculously long. I used to read while I worked out and I know by the time I got to book 4 that thing just would NOT stay in the little book slot (3 months after I finished that last one I got a Kindle for my b-day and my reading life has been infinitely better since). I thought the whole time why she didn’t just break them up, it’s not like the series HAD to be 4 books, 5 would’ve been fine and given her even more time to build up a bigger fan base and sell more books. So yes, two movies is a good idea for busines.
For my super fan friend it will be torture.

Israel says:

I know the book packs a lot of story, but I´d prefer one movie. It is an issue with most books made in to movies and plenty of them have worked. It seems to me like it may dragg a little that way. I say one movie well executed is better than two.

Katrina says:

It has to be two. Trying to condense a 755 page book into a 2 hour film like the others will leave an awful lot out. Hopefully they will be richer in detail with a longer running time.

Ashley says:

I think it’s a great idea to split Breaking Dawn into two movies. Anyone that has read the books knows that in order to do it justice, you have to have a lot of time. Think of Isle Esme, and the birthing scene- I know I don’t want any of that cut out to make room for fluff.

Mario says:

Yes, it is a good idea: (1) wise marketing: with 2 movies, that’s twice the hype and twice the moolah. (2) Well, I guess that’s probably the best reason…

Hope says:

Yes it’s a great idea – That means all of the meaning of the book can be told in two movies!!!!

Bryanna says:

yes the book is great and 2 movies will make it even better!!!!

ZD0 says:

I say 2 movies, beacuse it’s more money for them.

Bella says:

I think it’s a bad idea. I’ve never been a fan of making movies out of books, they are rarely done well. The Twilight Saga is no exception.

LuvlyRta says:

Making two movies out of Breaking Dawn would totally be for the book fans, so YES they should do it! Normally with movies they have to keep things action packed to keep moviegoers’ interest. Not so true with the Twilight movies. I think the fans want all the intricate details of the book – and that takes time, man – so, two movies it is :)

Kristina says:

I think it is a good idea to have two movies. The books have too much information to cover in a 2 1/2 hour movie.

Cristobal says:

I would have to say no. I don’t have a problem with the concept per se, given that I’m looking forward to the two “Deathly Hallows” Harry Potter movies. It’s just that I don’t feel Breaking Dawn, or the Twilight franchise in general, needs that much time to tell it’s story. I mean, its not like we need more time to show more shirtless teen heart throbs.

jennBalint says:

I completely agree with Erica! You took the thoughts out of my head.

I also think it should be two movies. As a huge fan of the books and movies, I am craving to see every detail of the books played out on screen.

Dez H. says:

Yes, I definatley think its a good idea. The book itself is pretty long and to only make one movie for the book would be insulting to the detail stephanie meyer writes in this book. Only I can only hope the movies will come out with in months of each other rather than waiting a year or longer for the second half…

Michelle says:

I believe cutting the last book, Breaking Dawn, into two movies is a bad idea. Many people believe that they will make more money by doing two movies, but I think by the time they are finished filming both movies the “Twilight Craze,” will be over. Also, two movies would make it difficult for people who have not read the books to follow along and considering that movies can take one-three years to make, again the “Twilight Craze” will be over by then.

Rachel says:

Yes…love the idea of two movies! I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga! I would hate to see any of the detail of Breaking Dawn be cut out…and its another chance to see Jacob with no shirt. ha

Laura says:

Hello! I’m a huge Twighlight fan! I think Stephanie Meyers fourth book in the Twilight series, “Breaking Dawn” is the best book out of them all, and it definitly needs to be split into two movies. There are so many different “plots” going on in the fourth book, that I don’t think one movie could portray everything accurately.

JamesMichael says:

YES.

JamesMichael says:

Yes I do , i gives them a chance to explain the story in detail . And the monet portion only makes sense.

katbon says:

I think it’s a good idea because it’s too difficult to capture the true feelings and emotions of a book in a two hour period. The movie will either be too short to adequately capture the book. If it’s made longer, then the movie is too long. Two movies will make the fans happy.

Steve says:

$$$

Devin M says:

I think it’s a good idea to split it into two movies because there would be so much left out if you condensed it to a 2-2.5 hour movie. True fans will be left disappointed with so much left out. It would be better to have two movies cover it all than disappoint such a large fan base.

Tay says:

Breaking Dawn needs to be two movies… the book has three different parts and the details need to be shown for the people that have not read the book!

Angel says:

I guess it makes sense or the people that are REAL fans. I know that people that take the time to read the books would probably be very disappointed if they felt like a lot of the content was left out. They would feel pretty cheated I think. Plus, from a marketing stand-point it just makes sense to make as much money from this franchise as one can.

Lucy says:

Yes, for the actors and everyone evolved it in. No matter how much time and money they put in it, its guarantee to be a big hit. So many fanatics, I’m sure the more movies, the better.

I personally think making two movies would not be a good idea. Extending the movie time would work out better.

Sarah says:

I think it’s a great idea…not only will it make more money for all, but there is just too much in Breaking Dawn to fit into two hours!

Lisa says:

Yes, I think that splitting Breaking Dawn into two movies is an excellent idea! Fitting the whole book into just one movie would be an overflow; the movie would have to be about 6 hours long! Making it into two movies is a very smart idea because the fans will get to see more of what really happens with the story and it won’t get crumpled up all into one story trying to cram it in. I am a HUGE fan of the Twilight Saga and I think that this is a Great idea!

BushV says:

yes i think that making two films out of the book is a great idea. keeping it all in just one movie is way too much and not everything will be noticed. this book is the final chapter of the overall story and with this book being the biggest, i think making two movies out of it is very smart of the production!

Maggie says:

Having the final book, which is the longest story of the series, is a brilliant idea. I am looking forward to seeing how they plan to divide up the content for two films. This has been a fun series to read and then come to life on the big screen. I’m looking forward to Eclipse at the end of this month.

Mayoua says:

It’s a very smart idea. Trying to cram in this huge book into one movie will simply be too much. It needs two movies in order to allow to story to grow and develop

Anita says:

Making Breaking Dawn into two seperate movies is a good idea for everyone. After the first part is done, fans will have more to look forward to and it will make more money as well. And creating the growth of the story in two movies is better than one.

lisa says:

this is a good idea!!!! it will be more enjoyable and this is a very big book so i will definitely enjoy it more as well. i cant wait to see it! i am so excited and two movies is much better than one because the more the merrier.

Kylie says:

I think it’s a good idea, because the first movie will be able to focus on graduation and build up to the wedding and honeymoon. the second one will be able to focus on the baby and the battle!

Noelle says:

I don’t think it’s a good idea. I think they’re just trying to stretch it out to make more money.

Clayton says:

Not a good idea. I think everyone involved is just money grubbing.

Mike says:

I think it’s a good idea. My daughter loves the books, and I can tell that it’s making all the fans happy to keep it going longer.

Katie says:

It’s a good idea! I want the series to last as long as possible!

Stan says:

2 different stories from different points of view will be too confusing. Stay with just 2 movies, otherwise this will be WAY to long of a single movie and many of the details will be left out because of the length.

Kristine says:

I think Breaking Dawn has to be made into two books. It’s too much material for one, and it has a very specific break point. Bella’s change is the start of a whole new life, and deserves it’s own movie

desiree esqueda says:

i think that would be a good idea because the moive would make more money and people may go see the moive two times like i did with new moon but on the other hand i hate waiting for a moive to come out but thats what makes moives last longer so if you make two moives then the twilight saga will be a hit for a longer period of time so my final anwser would be its a good idea.

Bob says:

Two movies versus one – great idea! One reason – more money for the Producers, Directors and Actors. Second reason – the hype and anticipation of two movies coming out versus one keeps the “Twilight” followers excited and continually wondering what’s next!

Brenda Poe says:

I think it’s a great idea. More Edward!! I think the fans want this story done right and there’s just too much to try to squeeze into two hours. But I do hope there isn’t a whole year in between the first part and the second part since I’m assuming they will be filmed simultaneously. The more than year we have to wait between Eclipse and the first Breaking Dawn will be torture enough.

Cathy Aluisi says:

My first reaction was that it was all about money. After I thought about it then I realized it was a good idea because so much would have to be left out if it was only one movie.

Debbie says:

I definantely think 2 movies would be so much more of a benefit. The book is so good and that way you can get much more out of the book and don’t have to miss out on anything. The 3rd book is amazing would hate to miss out on anything. It just gets better and better. Can’t wait for Breaking Dawn!!!

Kelli says:

I am going to disagree and say that splitting the last book into two movies is a bad idea. Let’s face it, the last book was waaaayyyy too long and needed editing, badly. This was the perfect time to edit a lot of stuff out of the last book and make it a manageable story. Too bad they decided to milk it for profits.

yes,..breaking dawn should be make into two more movies because i think its fun to see my wife get all obsessed and crazy over the books and these movies, so to keep it going for one more year would be entertaining….she is having a party for this eclipse release…and i love a party…two more movies=two more parties….

Amanda says:

i think the movie is going to be and awsome to watch and funny i liked the first one that came out i watched it on tv when it came out it was funny too.

Amanda says:

i think the movie is going to be and awsome to watch and funny i liked the first one that came out i watched it on tv when it came out it was funny too.

Blanca says:

I don’t think it’s a good idea. There isn’t enough story for two movies. But it is good for money making people.

Elizabeth Laurel says:

Yes, to anyone who read the Twilight Saga knows that Breaking Dawn is by far the longest of the series and has so much going on…from a wedding, to a honeymoon,to a birth, to a rebirth, to a war.. There would be no way to put all that is necessary in 1 two hr movie. Also, marketing wise hello, why stop now?

RZM says:

All of the books were to long and detailed for just one movie each. It will be great to see if they are able to include more of the characters and supporting plot stories.

Mary-An says:

I believe that the decision to make Breaking Dawn into two movies is GREAT because you have an excuse to miss work twice ( and if you have little kids like me, a 2 hour break is well worth it) AND for diehard Twilight Book readers, the anticipation of the films in general are enough to look forward to!! I just dont want it to END!!!

taylor b. says:

I love the series so much I wish they would make 10 more movies out of it. Of course, the movies would only be about 10 minutes long, but who cares. It’s Twilight and I am an 11-year old and I love it.

Misty Almaraz says:

I think its a great idea to make two movies out of Breaking Dawn. It will keep vampires and wolves go on a little longer. I know when I read the book I really took my time because i didn’t want “Twilight” to end. I still don’t want it to end but making two movies will make it last longer. I look forward to seeing the moves

Donnie Williams says:

Yes, the last book should be made into two separate movies. There are too many events to cover in only one film. Of course, the movie industry people will make more $, but it will benefit me in that I can look forward to having some quality time out with my girlfriends.

Tiffany says:

Of course it is a good idea to split the final book of the Twilight Saga into two movies. It is awesome for the Twi-hards and fans who just can’t get enough of the Twilight movies because they get to have at least two more hours of edited footage and story to watch. It’s great for all involved with the movie (actors, studio, director and the like) because they have another guaranteed bunch of money. All along I’ve been for making the last book (Breaking Dawn) into two movies because it’s so hard to even fit the first three books into their own movies (within the process favorite parts get left out along with details you want to see), which the first three are shorter than the last one. When the first movie was made (almost indie style), I wasn’t sure they’d get to make Breaking Dawn, but after the reception Twilight got, I was sure Breaking Dawn would be made. It is an extra treat that I get to see two movies made of it!

Brandy says:

Ya they should make two movies out of the book after all it is 900 pages long, and I would like to see all that happens in the book on the big screen!!! Making it into two movies will give Twilight fans something more to look forward to!! It may take ahwile but worth the wait!!!

Nicole says:

I think that would be the best thing that they did!!! It would allow more footage to be seen and something that all fans can look forward to!! There is way to much stuff that happens in the fourth book to just make one movie!!

Karen says:

Breaking Dawn had so much content that it would not fit into one movie. Breaking up the book into two movies is a great idea, just like the Harry Potter last book. It just makes more sense to make two movies that could do the book justice, than one that wouldn’t have enough of the book to make it a good movie.

Phil says:

Yes, it’s a good idea. That book is pretty huge.

Whitney says:

Yes! I think it is a great idea to make two movies. So much happens in Breaking Dawn that it would be impossible to fit it all into one movie. If the Twilight Saga was not so popular then maybe it wouldn’t matter, but because it is so popular fans will be expecting everything that is in the book to be in the movie. Also they will be able to make more money from two movies then just one.

Gwen Ontiveros says:

I am happy that they made the decision to make Breaking Dawn into two movies. I have read the whole saga multiple times and breaking dawn the most. Breaking Dawn is my favorite out of all the saga, so I would really like to see most of the same plot and actions from the book go into the movie. Because Breaking Dawn is 756 pages long, alot of stuff would have to be cut out in a 2 hour movie. Also, in just a 2 hour movie, they wouldnt have time to explain the whole book and how relationships unfold. I would be concerned if it was made into one movie that- like Bella and Edward’s relationship in Twilight (i was VERY dissapointed in that)- nothing would make sense and would be rushed and meaningless. It just makes more sense for them to split it up into two movies. Also, it would draw out the suspense for those that haven’t read the books but love the movies. It would make more people come and see the movies, which in turn, would make the everyone that works on the set to earn more money, which would make for better filming, an incentive for the actors/actresses to perform better, better locations to film, and better filming equipment. All of these factors would make an all-around better two movies (of Breaking Dawn) than just one not-very-good and possibly even dissapointing Breaking Dawn.

Nicole Corson says:

Yes!, I think making the last book into 2 movies is a good idea because it will give the Twi-hard fans more to look forward to!

Jennifer says:

I definitely think it is a good idea. Although the fans will have to wait longer to finish the movies, it would create more profit and a better ending. It allows the writers to bring the book to life. The last book is the best one and I wouldn’t want it to be destroyed by a movie that doesn’t offer enough details to the fans. People say they want to change the movie from the book because it allows some excitement for the readers, but the reason they want to see the movie is because they want to see it in front of them. They want the same storyline just on a big screen. I hope they do make this into two movies. It will benefit everyone in the end.

Hannah says:

NO!!! I feel that it is NOT a good idea to break this movie into two parts because I don’t think there is a logical place in the book for it to be broken. The only reason I could think for them to back up this decision is to make more money for the Twilight enterprise.

Lease says:

Very good idea. too long of a book to make only one movie. two movies will have more detail!

Chee says:

I have mixed feelings about this. I love Twilight and I would like it to continue forever! Who doesn’t want more screen time of Edward and Jacob?? I seriously don’t know what I will be obsessed with when all this ends. A part of me also want there to be only one film. It will be difficult to stay true to the book, but I think the Director should take this challenge on and give Twihard Fans ONE great film. A film that will meet all our expectations and leave us yearning for Stephanie Meyer to expand on the series!

Kristin Mackey says:

I’m very happy it will be made into two movies. It will provide the opportunity for all aspects of the final book to be explored. This way all our favorite parts can be included, especially since this is the movie that we, the readers have been waiting for, it’s the beginning of the end in a way. So I’m looking toward to Nov 2012 to see if the movie has done the first part of the book justice. Let’s just say there better be some busted feather pillows lol

Anita says:

They need to do two movies…. This way we can enjoy the night out with friends and support the movie industry and the economy. Besides there is no way they can do the the story lines justice it they cram everything into one.

Kim says:

I think it’s a good idea to do two movies…or rather, good or bad I am not ready to get to the end, and two movies stretches it out for a little bit longer.

Danielle Blanchard says:

I don;t think it’s a good idea because even though its a big book, not that much happens. There is no really good place to break the story up

Denise Chafee says:

I vote for 2 movies!

Megan says:

I think it is a great idea to make it into two movies because it will allow more time for the movie to go more into detail about what happens. The final book is very confusing and really is split into two separate parts.

Francisca A. says:

Yes, I think it is a good idea. There is no way to do the book any justice with one movie. The book has so much going on I think if it was condensed to one movie alot of people would be dissappointed.

Eileen says:

I think it will be a good idea because the movie would be realllly long! I love the twilight series, but sitting through a 3 to 4 hour movie can be just NO fun even if you enjoy it! Plus we dont ever want it to end!!!!! =))

Carolyn says:

I think it’s a good idea to make two movies – it allows for more plot and character development. The franchise is obviously very popular and two movies would therefore likely receive the necessary support from the fan base.

Rachelle says:

Yes, I think it is a good idea to turn breaking dawn into 2 movies. I would rather sit in 2 movies that are only maybe 2 hours each, rather than sitting in a movie for 4 hours.

KRISTEN DOYLE says:

I WOULD LOVE TO WIN THE MOVIE TICKETS FOR MY MOM AND I TO GO AND SEE THE NEW TWILIGHT MOVIE ECLIPSE,I THINK ITS GOING TO BE AN AWESOME MOVIE JUST LIKE THE OTHER ONES AND THANKS SO MUCH…………………………………..PLEASEPLEASE PLEASE PICK ME………………………………………………………………………………………

Lisa says:

Yes, the last book is so long and detailed that 2 movies make much more sense.

Kelley Worman says:

I am not really sure how I feel about this. I generally do not like stories to broken up too much, becasue it often means stretching the story by adding elements of the story that was not included in the original text, just to fit the time allotment of two films. It will be interesting to see how this turns out!

JENNIFER says:

Ofcoarse its a good idea, 2 is always better than 1 Theres plenty of details not to be left out More love scenes more drama more action more more more oopps got a little carried away Ha!

Gwen Connolly says:

I don’t think making it into 2 movies is a good idea. I think people will be SICK of vampires by #4 and then to add #5? So….no, make it into one movie…maybe 3 hours long?

Sharon Smith says:

Yes, I think making “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” into two movies is better. My daughters and I can’t get enough of Stephanie Myers’ books and the movies that are made from them.

Roxanne says:

It’s a great idea to make 2 films because it gives an opportunity to elaborate on the story told. It also gives viewers the chance to feel like they are getting their monies worth. And lastly it gives the fans more EDWARD AND JACOB.

Belle says:

The movie being split into two parts is a great idea…for the simple fact that the BOOK is split into two parts as well. Part one will reflect Bella’s life as a human and part two will show her as a vampire.

Beatrice Zapien says:

As a true die hard twilight fan I think it is a good and a bad idea. I think it is a good idea because there is so much to Breaking Dawn that it would be hard to fit it all into one movie. I also think it is a bad idea because I dont know where they would actaully cut off the first movie to start the next. That is going to be intesting to see. There are a few moments in Breaking Dawn that might work but I just hope they pick the right one, I would hate for the series to end with a bad move on the directors part.

alyssia moreno says:

I just the idea that making more and more movies is the BEST!!! Hey it gives me a chance to get out and the busy life i have i really need this time to get away and watch the best movies ever!!!!!!!!!!

Michael Crandell says:

I think making two movies is a great idea since the book has too much in it to try and cram into one movie, that just wouldn’t do justice to the story…plus it keeps the craze going longer and longer, lol

Dave says:

The almighty dollar rules everything.

Robert Hurtado says:

I think it would really be a good idea, this would allow the film makers to add more important scenes and not have to leave some really good parts out. To many times after reading a book the movie viewer feels a real let down when they go watch the movie because of all the important things which are relevant to the book are left out of the movie version. Absolutely make it two movies the Twilight series is such a big hit it would be very foolish on the movie industries part not to capatilize on the popularity by taking this chance to cash in and make more money especially in this ecomony.

Deanna Crandell says:

I really like the idea so we can see more of the story and characters developed like they should be, so it can stay more true to the story rather than having to cut so much to make it fit into one movie. I love the idea!

Katie says:

I would love to see this made into 2 movies. Keep the Twilight going a little longer. Also, the last book was way long. I think with the way they have been cranking these movies out, knowing that you wouldn’t have to wait forever for the next one would be okay. With all that happened in the last one, I wouldn’t want anything to be cut out specifically for time’s sake. I would be really bummed if they cut out too much from the book.

Sloan Johnson says:

The trouble is the book is too long for one movie; but too short for two movies. That means that each movie will have to be padded. Not a really satisfactory solution. I would much rather have them cut out some of the extraneous scenes from the book.

Evelia De La Torre says:

I would like to see it split into 2 movies. Like everyone else mentioned, way too much to put into a single movie. Definitely think it would be worth having to pay to see both.

Lizzie says:

It’s a great idea. Us fans get to see our favorite characters brought to life in two more movies. Plus there is soo much information in the last book that it HAS to be made into two movies.

Dona says:

Yes – Unless they were going to make a 5 hour mini-series movie, Two movies are needed.
Plus…. 2 more movies will be double the fun!

darnell72 says:

I think it should be made into two films. A story like that just cant be told in 2 hours and I think the past films have shown that. The movies felt rushed. On top of that, the movie company would be insane not to. The Twilight series has made a killing in merchandising alone. Why not get another 2 years out of it?

I think that it is best not to split it into two movies. The longer the better, because every detail is important to the whole of the story. I think they are doing great just like they are and I am very excited to see Eclipse!

Diana Strimling says:

I think that it is a good idea to split it into two movies because there is soooo much going on. I do worry about the way they will show some parts of the book though because they are potentially too scary to be rated PG. I hope that they do justice to all of the exciting things that go on in the book!

Missy says:

Hands down, it was the right decision to split the novel into two films. . There is so much involved that to cram it all into one film wouldn’t give justice.

Julissa Ozier says:

I can’t miss a movie, which contains beautiful people. I’m looking forward to watching this film. I love Vampire and Warewolf movies. The chance to be able to choose from an inmortal life as a Vampire or a strong furocious beast of a Warewolf. How exciting ! Can’t wait to see what happens ! I’d want the Vampire to bite me !

Miklo says:

Yes great idea. Two is always better than one. You get twice the anticipation and twice the entertainment.

NINA says:

A story such as this, two movies are always better than one considering there are too many details and leaving some out to make it into one movie would leave fans feeling unfulfilled, disappointed and cheated. Looking forward to the release of a sequel is part of the excitement. Being there is even better!

Tammy Turner says:

They absolutely should split Beaking Dawn into 2 movies in order to do the entire “Twilight” series justice.

Marlena Stuckey says:

I think it’s awesome that they are splitting the movie. Breaking Dawn is so detailed and there is so much is going on that I believe us fans would have been disappointed not to see all of it.

I love the fact that so much thought and consideration was put in for us fans. We all love the series and want more more more… The more the merrier…

I am super excited about seeing this installment.. I can hardly wait.. Counting the days down… It’s going to be awesome…

YVETTE says:

I agree two movies. No movie has ever been able to compare to a book you miss out on so much if you just watch the movie. By breaking it up into two movies you get a lot more of the details from the book and making it one movie would be way to long.

Sandy S says:

Two movies is the best idea! There is so much in the book to cover, I had heard that they were thinking of making two, then I heard only one .. then they said two again and I was so relieved. The More movies the better !! I’m filled with anticipation for Eclipse!

Marsha Conant says:

I have not read the final book. My daughters think it would be better if there were two movies because it would allow the relationships and story line to better unfold. This series has developed an entire generation of readers and been a huge boon to the economy. Two movies would continue to perpetuate book sales, merchandise and movie tickets, also good for the economy! Keeps Team Jacob and Team Edward of the streets!

Laura says:

Well, I always think movies have to cut too much good stuff out of books to fit into a 2-hour movie, so I would have to agree that 2 movies is fine. Especially for the last installment of a series – it’s the last chance! Also, it’s profitable for the movie distributors, since they automatically get twice the ticket profits. As long as you have a willing and addicted audience – go for it!

John Cagle says:

The essence of the story should be told in one well crafted film rather than making two films with the excessives covered in hype.

Sirach2 says:

I think making it into two movies is a good idea. I don’t like having to wait for the second part, but I think that by making it two movies, they won’t have to cut as much out. I think that seeing how the last Harry Potter installment does in two parts will be a good measuring stick for the two part installment to the Twilight Saga.

Cindy says:

I guess it would be a good idea because you can get make more money off of people wanting to see both movies.

kimberley carlson says:

Yes, i believe its a good move to make two movies out of the last book. The book has to much information that would be lost if they didnt make two movies. Then if they were to put all the information into one movie it would be to long to sit through and to expensive to make. So again, I think its a good idea.

Vicky says:

I love the Twilight Sega! It is BRILLIANT to divide Breaking Dawn into two movies…why not capitalize on that while they can? Also, so much happens in Breaking Dawn the book so it will make for intelligent and fun dual movies! Uuuuggghhh the wait!!!

Sheri C says:

I can’t imagine that a single movie would even begin to do the movie any justice. There’s so much to cover to effectively convey the story, that to try to wrap it up into a high-level even 2.5 hour movie would be a terrible inustice.

Claudia says:

I think it is a good idea. When you are trying to make a book into a movie, most times the story gets shortened to fit it into a certain time frame. This way, they should be able to tell the story properly.

Candy Trevizo says:

Why not split it in two parts? The ones who love twilight saga will go see it & the ones who don’t can stay home! My girls & I are undecided as to what team we should be on, so we’ve created our own. We are now team Jedward! =)

Bard devore says:

I believe 1 movie is in order. I believe in order to remain
true to the book it should be in the dame format. 1 book =
1 movie. As a teacher it is encouraging to see so many
young people excited to read and with books in hand.

Michael Escalon says:

The studio would be stupid not to, based on the success this saga has had thus far. And who does not want another chance to go see Jacob Black on the big screen! TEAM JACOB WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!

Chrystie De La Rosa says:

I think it’s a great idea, especially for all the die hard fans! And that way your getting the whole book. More room to add more to the movie. I have not read not one book but watching these movies seem to be truly interesting. So I bet there pretty close to the actual book. But i’m not gonna read them til after all movies are done. So I could get my answer, whether or not they are exactly alike or not? But I can’t wait super excited!

Ala Smith says:

I think Breaking Dawn is long enough and complex enough to be done in two movies easily. Most Twihards cant get enough, so more movies, Yeah!
I even hoped we would get a sequel with Jacob and Esmee.

Al says:

Definitely a smart move to split up the next installment. Most fans will never get enough of Edward and Jacob, and even diehard fans of the books have surrendered already.

Brigitte Sickels says:

I do I think the idea of two would give them more chance to show the story …

mommy2boys says:

While it will be hard to wait for the second of the two movies to come out, its all about money and they will make twice as much splitting it into two so from that standpoint it makes sense. I loved the book, but thought they rushed through the whole wedding part, so I hope in the movie they extend that a bit. The movies can’t be released fast enough, but it gives me more time to re-read the series a few more times.

Frank Fagan says:

I would vote for two movies so that more of the original book could be presented intact. People are correct that the studios would make more money if they produce two quality films.

GldnAura says:

Making to move to film the last book into 2 movies would be a great idea. There would be too much lost if it would be all bundled into one movie. In order for everyone to get the concept of the movie, it has to be in two parts. Otherwise, the ending would not make any sense and possibly lose the audience in all the emotion and all the excitement in between. The characters and the ending of the book would come to its final conclusion and a great ending. Fantastic move to make two movies out of the last book!

Nancy says:

Yes, I think making Breaking Dawn into two movies is a great idea. The fourth book is the longest and, in my opinion the best. There is a lot of information in the book and I think if it was made into 1 movie it would have to be really long to do the book justice. No matter what, the Twilight fans are the greatest and they will see the movie in one or two parts, but to make it into two means we get more of what we love.

AMoreno says:

Yes. I think that making two movies out of this book is better than one.

Keisha says:

two movies means 2 opportunities for me to see my crush in action. It is an awesome opportunity to provide details about the storyline. I hope that they take their time and explain it instead of rushing through the wedding like the book did.

Keisha says:

two movies means 2 opportunities for me to see my crush in action. It is an awesome opportunity to provide details about the storyline. I hope that they take their time and explain it instead of rushing through the wedding like the book did.

Nancy Y says:

Making the last book into two movies will make more $$ and include more book substance.

Alexis says:

I too agree that making this book into one movie would not do the final book justice. Look at the Harry Potter series….so much of the story is lost due to crunching it into one movie. Now their last book is in two parts…………….Perfect don’t you think……go out with a bang……..this way you get every little detail and every bit of the story! YES, PLEASE YES, let them do it in two parts!!! And for those who can’t understand, or don’t want to wait………….IT IS LIKE CHRISTMAS!!!!

i. walvatne says:

the more of the actual story the better. if it takes two movies, i’ll go to both.

Carolyn Hamilton says:

Yes I believe that The book should be two movies. One movie would not give time to encompass the story without making a feeling of being rushed thru and missing parts of the movie.

crystals says:

Although Breaking Dawn was my least favorite book ever, I am glad that they are making two movies. The most obvious (previously stated) reason is because of all the money the two movies would make. The only bad thing about that is that I will be spending double the money on movie tickets and merchandise, but I don’t mind.

Breaking Dawn should to be in two movies (the human and vampire life). The first will be good and the second one will show all the BD fans just how disappointing the the last book was. The two movies will need a lot of revision and even story changing because BD was a disaster. I don’t want to watch a 2 hour movie where there are a lot of powerful characters who sit around, wait and anticipate a war only to have the movie end abruptly with a magical happy ending. Having two movies will help me enjoy Breaking Dawn without the crummy vampire nothingness.

CAROL KALPAKOFF says:

I THINK THIS WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA TO SPLIT THE MOVIE INTO TWO MOVIES MORE FOR US TO LOOK FORWARD TO. AND ONE LONG MOVIE WOULD BE TO MUCH TO SIT THROUGH.

smile4love says:

Two movies seems like too much but the book is a bit complicated to put in a movie so that the none readers will be able to understand it.

I vote for two movies.

Dawn Smith says:

Definitely a good idea. There’s just TOO much in the book to get it all condensed into a 2 hour movie. I’m a stickler for details, and nothing bothers me more than a movie that doesn’t follow the book to the ‘T’.
In the first Twilight movie, they had her driving a ’62 Chevy- in the book she drove a ’52 Chevy. I was really disappointed in the lack of attention to detail. If it takes two movies per book for them to get it right, then by all means, do it in two segments.

teresa says:

As for me and my daughters its the best idea yet! Of course every young girl loves Twilight, me being a over pertective mother I have just come to let my daughters start to watch the movies, I mean if my grandmother is into it then it can’t be that bad.
So my daughters(and grandma) are so excited and can’t wait until the next sequels come out to all these twilight movies and books, honestly what could be better than taking them to something they injoy and me to now days. Two movies in one seating its the best! Please help me get my grandma and kids to spend time away from me not just for two hours but now four beatiful hours to myself! Yes I love Twilight!

Kathy Doran says:

The book holds too much information for one movie. If it was a single movie it would have to be at least four hours long like Gone With The Wind.

Leifull says:

It only makes sense to make it into 2 movies! The book is way too long to allow only one movie. The fans will be crushed because it’s the final chapter and many, many important details will definitely be left out! Two movies will also allow to make more money for the productions. I agree with the concept of it being split into two movies, rather than just one.

Spring says:

I started out by saying no…. I sat for over three hours watching short hobbits with big feet in Return of the King. I would gladly sit for over three hours watching sparkly vampires finally having getting more than a kiss. However, others here have made a good point in that the book rushed through the wedding and honeymoon while paying too much attention to other stuff. Flesh it out and make it a satisfying ending for all and I’ll be there.

I’ll probably be there anyway but it would be more fun to have a satisfying ending.

stella herrera says:

Although it is time to hurry and get to the end of the movie, I really need the excitement of suspence! I have chosen to wait to read Breaking Dawn until I have seen each movie..anyways The most important part is being able to sit with a whole bunch of Twilight lovers and share the moment brings society closer…lol

Amber says:

I think it’s a good idea as well as a smart one. Especially since the fourth book doesn’t just center around Bella, but around the other characters who play a more integral part in the path her life takes.

Anonymous says:

I don’t think they should make two movies out of breaking dawn, because there was so much going on in the book that if they were to make one they would skip a lot of events you would like to see,
So its better of to see everything instead of rushing through the scenes.

Sarah says:

I think it’s a good idea because the 4th book has so many different storylines and things going on that if it was squeezed into one movie, the story itself would lose a lot of meaning and would most likely be confusing to those who haven’t read the books. It also means i get to see more Taylor Lautner :) I also hope that they release the movies relatively close together so i don’t have to wait a year and a half to see the 2nd part

Rose E says:

It amazes me how many people think it should be 2 movies based on volume of data. The only criteria for the no of movies is the storyline. If the authors plot has to be altered in order to create 2 movies, then, there can only be one.

patchy says:

More Vampires,the better. ;>

patchy says:

More Vampires,the better. ;>

Geneva Perez says:

Splitting Breaking Dawn into two movies is a great move by the people in charge. The movie can now be in detail and follow the TRUE story as closely as possible. There is far too much in the final book to fit into a mere two hour movie. Plus I feel the book naturally splits into two parts; before the birth of Bella and Edward’s baby and after the birth. It will definitely make the actors a lot of money and the fans happy! It’s win win.

Sharon says:

I love all the books. I have read all of them at least 4 times. Although I am 70 yrs old I never tired of reading them and seeing the movies. I think it is a good idea to make two movies out of Breaking Dawn. It would be a real shame to miss any part of the book.

Biviana says:

I think it’s a great idea to make two movies, i enjoy watching these wonderful movies. I can’t wait to see Twilight: Eclipse, i hope it’s even better than new moon. I think by making more movies we get a chance to enjoy more characters and more action. I love Twilight :)!!!!!

suzanne atrat says:

I think that it is a great idea for the two movies to be shown at the same time. It is good opportunity to show how awesome the to movies are combined with each other.

nicole smith says:

I don’t think it makes sense to split the movie. Sure the studio will make more money but it will also drag out the series longer. The last movie adaptation strayed from the books when there was plenty of story to depict. If they try to make two movies, they’re just going to be more scenes that aren’t in the book. I hate that!!!

dextermorgan says:

Of course it should be at least two movies. Since the book is actually three parts, I would have voted for three movies. But if there are only two, the first can tell of the marriage, honeymoon, pregnancy and the bare begining of the birth/imprinting. Then, the second can address Bella’s new-found life and the ensuing battle/conflict with the Volturi. At least, that’s how I think it should be done, but I am hardly a Hollywood producer.

Megan Knorr says:

two moives are a great idea. for muitlple reason one there is so much info and details that could be miss if they decide for just one movie. another would be they would gross more money by spilting it up. the most important reason is more Jacob Black GO TEAM JACOB!

hailey hager says:

i think there is way to much information to leave out.and that meets duble time jabob!! and everyone wats more jacob!! this will also be better for the producers of the movie, they will make double more money from the movie, this will make every one happy!!!

wendy hager says:

i believe breaking dawn should be made into two movies becaus that means my adrilin will be pumping from the first part of breaking dawn and i will be absolutly pumped to see the seccond part!!! also you cant forget the hotties we will all be waighting for

Brandy Knorr says:

It would be crazy to try and put everything that is in the book into one movie. So much of it would be lost. Besides the TWILIGHT SAGA IS THE GREASTEST BOOK EVER YOU CAN ENJOY IT WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY . THE MORE MOVIES THE HAPPIER WE ARE!!!!!!! thanks hope you pick me!!!!!!

hailey hager says:

i am so excited to see how the two section movie will turn out, i am realy excited to see it. i am glad they have decided to make it in two to parts that means double time hottie!!

Ronald Knorr says:

My wife and daughter think the book and movies are awesome. And if I was to win the tickets,i WOULD BE THE MAN. THEY THINK IAM GREAT NOW, BUT JUST THINK HOW HAPPY YOU COULD MAKE ALL OF US. THANK YOU

George says:

I think its more than just a good idea, its pratical marketing that works. Look at the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings franchise,if that concept can work for them and become a world wide success, Why can’t the same thing be done with twilight in the same manner. I say go for it!

rosesarered says:

No. I do not think that splitting Twilight’s Breaking Dawn into two pieces is a good idea. First off the book isn’t split into two pieces so why should the movie be? And secondly the two part movies wouldn’t be right after the other. One would be months ahead of the other and that could suffer consequences. The main consequence being that people could forget what happened in the first movie after 5 months, thus having to re-watch the first part of one movie. Besides, any real fan would be happy sitting in a theatre for more than a couple hours to watch the movie in FULL…not having to wait in suspense all over again.

Elsie says:

For the filmmakers, yes, it might be a good idea for them if they will make profit off it. On a personal level for me, it’s dumb. A lot of the stuff Belle experienced before ‘the night’ could be skipped because they’re so mushy. Maybe if they focus more on action or details about finding the half human/vampire in South America and other things it might be a good thing. As much of a fan I am with the book series, the fourth one was just overly dramatic. Then again I’m in my thirties reading books meant for teenagers. Go figure.

Lin Dellanina says:

Someone is actually going to read all this???? I’m VERY impressed….

My thoughts on this is that 2 is better than one. The reason is that there is so much in the final book that splitting it will make much better stories. To rush through to make one movie will have us either sitting too long or wondering why they cut so much out! And neighter is a good thing to do!
When something is prolonged, anticipation grows and we have something to look forward to, especially when it is something you have enjoyed! I can’t wait to see Eclipse and am looking forward to seeing 2 more after that, of a few books that I had a hard time putting down!

Diane Abbott says:

Even though Eclipse is just around the corner, I’m ALREADY anticipating Breaking Dawn. I think making two movies is a good move because there’s a great cut off point. I just hope they won’t make us wait TOO long for the second one!!!

Cat says:

I’m gonna say not a good idea, because I feel like there wasn’t enough material to warrant a split. I dig the movies but there’s only so much pining and stammering and awkward stares a girl can take!

Erin Elrod says:

My opinion on the twilight saga Breaking Dawn is that it should be in two parts because there is so much information that some of it would be lost if it was in one movie. That would be a shame to lose all of that information. I LOVE the books and movies hope you pick me.

Dicci Brignoni says:

I have yet to see any of the series, so winning tickets would be anice treat, so I can see what the fuss is all about.

Sandye GilpinBlack says:

I think it’s a great idea, especially from the studio’s perspective. If they stop the first movie at a crucial point, it will also get those who haven’t read the book back, for certain. Besides, each movie could be shorter so us older folks won’t miss something by having to get up to go potty in the middle!

Veronica says:

Great Move. MORE MONEY, MORE JACOB, BELLA, AND EDWARD! Anyone who is a fan of the series must agree. No one will sit thru this four hour movie if it were made into one (yeah rite!???!), but it allows every important detail to be exposed iF split into two. The suspense of more to come…who doesnt like that?!?! the first movie didnt capture all it shud so lets adjust and make it better…things can always be better!!! TWO MOVIES for sure!

I think they should make it into two movies. There is a lot in the book to draw into a 2hr movie. They would miss a lot of the details. i hope they do follow the books and no go off into another story… plus they could make more money..lol

Debbie G says:

Oh, you bet! The more the merrier! I go to see these movies because I think that Taylor Lautner is a little studmuffin! I’m a cougar who’d like to drag that little wolf boy back to my cougar den!!!

Christina Almanza says:

It definately has to be two movies. there is way too much that happens in the book that is vital to the story. cutting anything out would not do justice, and would alienate the fans of the books

Davene Munoz says:

Yes, there should definitely be two movies. Movies already leave out so many details that are written in the book versions. It would be a disservice to not have two separate movies. Also, I believe once you pass two hours in a movie, people become antsy sitting in a theater. I would definitely want to see two more Twilight movies!!!

Sam Cox says:

Great Idea. The more movie the merrier.

Peter Schroeder says:

I think 2 movies would definently make more money than one.

Maria Gomez says:

I think making Breaking Dawn into two movies is a good idea. There is too much information in it to cut out for a movie that wouldn’t be too long. This way, all the information and action will still be contained in two movies. Sometimes there are movies do cut out vital information and it sometimes hurts the plot.

Eric Self says:

Making this part of the story into two movies is a good idea only if the director can balance out the action throughout both movies. I would hate to see them waste all the good action scenes in the first half and then not follow up with scenes in the second half that are just as thrilling.Nevertheless I can’t wait to see Eclipse with my sis at the end of the month.

Robert Ramirez says:

Hope I get these for my girlfriend and I, she is a major fan!

Kim H says:

The plan to make “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” into two movies is a FABULOUS idea because it gives us, the movie viewers 2+ more hours of the Twilight saga to watch!!

GH says:

“Twilight: Breaking Dawn” to be split into 2 movies is awesome! Double the “Team Edward” viewings! =)

Barbara J says:

I am so excited to see the newest chapter of the Twilight saga. Each one gets better and better!!

Lairek says:

“Twilight Breaking Dawn” being split into 2 movies is a FANTASTIC idea! Savoring the Twilight movie that much longer is a really good thing for us die hard TwiHard fans! =)

Sooz S says:

It’s a GREAT IDEA to split “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” into two movies – more “Team Jacob” on the big screen is always a good thing.

Gregg Goodpaster says:

1 big flick

Kelly says:

Yes, I think it is a great idea because that means more action and entertainment for Twilight fans. Awesome!

Alma Gonzalez says:

Yes, definitely splitting the book into two separate movie allows the plot to be further developed.

lowlifeboy says:

I think it’s a smart and effective move. With the last book split into two separate films, it gives them enough time to fully explain the story.

Christina says:

I think its a great idea to split the last book in the twilight saga into two movies. There is so much going on in the last book. Its only fair to us twilight fans to include everything in these last movies.

LC says:

Two, but I will only allocate .5 seconds to the biting of the stomach scene. Thank you.

Sandra says:

REASON # 1: Edward Cullen is too cute to see him only once.

REASON # 2: Jacob Black he too is a cutie!!

REASON # 3: the book is too long and too awesome to only make one film- two movies sounds more plausible.

REASON # 4: Edward Cullen and Jacob Black…need I say more..the more movies the better…:)

Jq says:

I think that it will take two movies to really do the book justice. There is just too much info and story line to pack it into one movie.

Pat says:

Splitting it in to two movies will get all the content into the movies.

Dean says:

It going to action packed … and the amount of story for this movie is going to be a thriller!!

Chevy says:

I don’t like to see good story come to an end, so splitting up the last book into two movies would only make us want to keep coming back to see more.

Rob Howard says:

NO. I think they should make it a single longer film with intermission rather than two separate films; like long films used to be made. Gettyburg was 4+ hrs plus intermission, I think Gone With The Wind was equally long too. This way you get the whole story today, rather than half now and the other half in a year.

They are doing the same thing with Harry Potter #7, its just a way to make more profit.

Brenda says:

I think making the final book into two movies is the only choice. We know the ability of people to sit still for any serious length of time, because of attention span issues, restroom issues, etc. The only way to be able to pull off a single, long, movie would be to have an intermission, like live theatre has.

Another reason it is best to have the last book divided into two movies is because all the Twilight fans will be lost when the final movie is out, knowing there are no more to come. It happened to us Lord of the Ring fans and it’s happening soon enough for us Harry Potter fans. It’s like reading the last page of the last book in a series and wondering how you’ll get on in your life without the characters who have become like family to you.

So, for a choice that is no choice, you can’t go any other way but two movies. Along with not wanting to lose some of the best parts of the book. Would rather have two 2 to 3 hour movies than one 3+ hour movie.

Kel Morian says:

Two words why its a good idea to make “Twilight:Breaking Dawn” into 2 movies: Team Edward. :) :)

Aman Paul says:

Love the idea of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” being split into 2 movies – they don’t have to condense the story, it can unfold slowly. Cannot wait!

Kerry says:

It should definitely be divided into two movies. There is way too much in the book to do justice in one movie. Even if they made it 3 hours (which is not appealing), they would still have to leave a lot out. I like the idea of dividing it between Bella’s human life and vampire life; her transition is complete around halfway through the book.

Rafe says:

Make it into two movies– It would make my wife really happy.

lynn9317 says:

OK I think its a great idea to separate the book into two separate movies is a good because it gives the fans excitement and leaves them thinking and on the edge if it ended it wont be exciting or even famous anymore. So I fully agree with the change they made just like harry potter.

Kathy Criswell says:

I would like Breaking Dawn made into two movies. Stephenie Meyer writes amazing stories that include many details that bring those stories to life for people of all ages. Each book has left me wanting more. I would be disappointed to see her final book in the series condensed into one movie. Too much would have to be left out. Perhaps the author will pen another “novella” to add even more to the final installment.

Brandon Boatman says:

Im not a twilight fan, but my girl is and im starting to understand the storyline and everything about it through her. So by that being said, yes splitting it would be an excellent idea due to the simple fact that not only does it keep the fans on their toes and the edge of their seats wanting more, but it also brings more money into the box office and the producers. Nice move.

Ron says:

Why…why…and why! Good books and Hollywood movies are never the same. Breaking the book twice for two movies is waste of the artistic point of view of the author’s intention. Let’s be real. Did you see two Forrest Gump movies? This is why movie-goers discuss the what “if” factor.

Leslie Smith says:

Definitely 2 movies. The whole facination with Twilight is basically the love story. They need to spend time revealing more of what is in the book and not the quick shortened version of the love story that made it a phenomenon that it is.

Leslie Smith says:

Yes, because we always want more!

MONICA says:

I think it’s an awesome idea to make the movie 2 movies…It gives us Twillight junkies more to look forward to for one! We get all hyped up and excited for every new movie. I also feel becase the book is so long you will need to have 2 movies to try and get a lot of the main story content in the movies. It’s just another brilliant move to get us to look forward to another movie…That and there is money to be made! :)

Michele says:

I think it’s a great idea to make two movies for Breaking Dawn. The book was so long that there is no way you can get everything into one movie. It’s also extremely smart for all who will be making money off of the film. They will be getting double the ticket prices and DVD sales. I can’t wait to see the rest of the movies!

Tania Galeana says:

I think that it’s a good idea. At first my husband and I did not care to see the first one but we told my in-laws that we go with them to watch it, so ended up liking it so much that we have to everyone that they make on the big screen. Our 3 year old loves the movie he can’t even wait to see it.

Anita says:

I can’t wait!!

Kellie Jimenez says:

Yes, making Breaking Dawn in two separate movies is a good idea. It will ensure that the entire story is told as Stephenie Meyer intended it, and it will give the CGI specialists time to perfect their Nessie.

Elizabeth says:

I think it’s a great idea. There is too much in the book to make it into one movie.

Raul Arellano says:

In my opinion, I think that Breaking Dawn should be a two part film because of the amount of information that is presented in the book. If some of it were to be left out, it would change the tone of the movie. That is what I think so please pick me.

Oscar says:

I think that making one long movie would be the best way to go! It will keep the view wanting to know what happens till the end!

BMS says:

I think it’s a great idea to split Breaking Dawn into two films because the whole Twilight experience, between the books and the movies, has been a wonderful bonding experience between my daughter and I. We have enjoyed reading the books together and journeying through the world of Bella and Edward and Jacob. Taking the last movie and making it two just gives us one extra opportunity to enjoy the Twilight experience together.

CMoua says:

Two movies is the way to go!

ally says:

Making one movie would keep the movie goers intrigued!

Phansen says:

I think it’s a terrific idea to split the book into two movies. I think it will give more details with it in two movies. Most of the time, the movies just leave too much out when they do a movie from a book. This is a GREAT idea!

justjax says:

Well I may be the only one to say this, and it’s not because I’m not a huge fan, or because I didn’t love the books, because I did, but I don’t agree with the making of 2 movies with the last book. I loved the book and all but it had a lot of filler that wouldn’t necessarily be needed in a movie. I mean you had the wedding, which didn’t take all that long and the honeymoon (these movies would have to be rated R to do that honeymoon justice and let’s face it, there is NO way they’ll do that). Then the wait for the baby and the bloody delivery. The ending is the planning for the ending battle. I think they could do it in 2 1/2-3 hours just fine without losing anything. Everyone sat that long through the Lord of the Rings trilogies. Anyway I’ll be there to see them, either way.

Shari says:

I think it would be better to split it into two films. It definitely adds to the suspense of finally getting to the end of the story and keeps the Twilight saga around a little longer. I don’t want it to end!

CRYSTAL JACKSON says:

I BELIEVE IT WAS A GOOD DECISION FOR SUMMIT TO MAKE BREAKING DAWN INTO TWO FILMS FOR MANY REASONS. FIRST BEING THE BOOK HAS SO MUCH DETAIL A TWO HOUR FILM WOULD’NT COVER ALL DETAILS THAT NEEDED TO. THE MARRIAGE BETWEEN BELLA AND EDWARD, AND BIRTH OF THEIR HALF HUMAN HALF VAMPIRE DAUGHTER RENESMEE. THE CONNECTION JACOB THE WEREWOLF SHARES WITH RENESMEE, AND THE BOND WITH ALL THE CULLEN FAMILY. IT WOULD BE GOOD TO SEE HOW BELLA ADJUST TO BECOMING A VAMPIRE. I ALSO BELIEVE THE FANS WOULD LOVE, AND CRAVE MORE TWILIGHT SAGA. THE FANS ARE VERY IMPORTANT WITHOUT THEM IT WOULD’NT BE AS POPULAR AS IT IS TODAY.THE SAGA HAS BECAME A PHENOMENON ALL AROUND THE WORLD. IT’S NOT ONLY FOR TEENAGERS PEOPLE OF ALL AGES LOVE THE SERIES. IT GIVES THE MOVIE INDUSTRY AN OPPORTUNITY ALONG WITH ALL ACTORS AND CREW TO MAKE MORE MONEY AS WELL. I HAVE MY CALENDAR MARKED FOR BREAKING DAWN ON NOVEMBER 18,2011 I AM VERY EXCITED. HOWEVER THE DISADVANTAGE IS HAVING TO WAIT FOR THE SECOND PART OF THE FILM TO COME OUT. AT THE END IT’S WELL WORTH THE WAIT.

Jackie says:

I think they should make two movies out of Breaking Dawn as there is too much being told and with important details that editing it into one movie would destroy the story line. Plus what they have done so far in making the movies has been really close if not entirely true to the books and not too much as been edited out. Thus so far the movies have been a joy to watch as each character comes to life.

amber says:

I say YES to 2 films! There is so much that happens in the last book that they NEED to split it up so that movie goers can truly appreciate the Twilight series.

Jenn says:

Absolutely! There is too much ground to cover, especially with Bella becoming a vampire. I’m excited they’ve decided to make two movies!

Plus, more $$$ for the Twilight group and another movie for us!

Claire says:

My first thought is that breaking up the movie will be great to allow for more detail and to extend the series; I don’t want it to end. However, my next thought is not to break up the movie because the suspence will kill me.

Amanda Castro says:

Can I just say AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! I am soooooo excited for this movie to be finally coming out. After Twilight I couldn’t wait until New Moon. Then once New Moon came out I am anxiously waiting for Eclipse. Now seeing on Twilightsource.com I got to see preview’s and pictures. Man I am so glad that June is here and we have about 2 weeks left until June 30, 2010. I know that this movie will be great!!!

Karen Houghtaling says:

I am so excited about these Twilight movies, after reading all the books with my daughters. We are huge fans!!!!!! For anyone that hasn’t read the books, I recommend still reading them after seeing the movies.

Alyssa Alcantar says:

I think Breaking Dawn should be made into two movies because there is so much to the story it would be to long to put into one movie, as a Twilight fan I would love to see it broken into two parts. Cant wait to see Eclipse!!!

Devon says:

I think it’s a marketing money maker! That’s why i believe it would be a good idea..hey look at all the good it’s doing for Harry Potter…they are simply rolling out the red carpet and keeping us fans on the edge of our seats cause they know were gonna come back and pay to see what happens. The last book is way longer than the first one and if i know one thing you don’t wanna make crowds like the twilight lovers mad by butchering the last film of the series simply because you wanna squash it all in one 2 1/2 hour movie..if they made it into 3 parts i am sure we would all pay to see it…great idea and it gives us fans something to look forward to!

Judy says:

I loved the book. Two movies would cover all of the book and not have to leave anything out.

Kelley says:

I think that if they didn’t make the book into two movies, there would be a great deal of details left out that would make the movie (if made into one feature) difficult to understand.

Stephanie says:

Yes I think it is a good idea that they make the last book into two movies because there would be too much information cut out if they tried to sqeeze that whole book into a 2 hour segment. By making it 2 movies it would give them more of an opportunity to stick closer to the book.

Jennifer Howells says:

YES YES YES!!!! I say the more Twilight, the better! The fourth book has way too much story to condense into one movie. One movie could never do the entire story justice.

Becky says:

I want it to be two movies just because I really look forward to them. I think the book is too long to be put into one movie and they would have to leave out too much.

Kari says:

I think making it into two movies is a good idea because there is so much material in the last book that condensing it into one movie would either make for a *very* long movie, or not cover all of the important details.

Dee says:

It is best to make 2 movies! It will allow the story to be told with better detail and be more profitable!

Maggie says:

I think making Breaking Dawn into two movies was an absolutely GREAT idea! I think it was a good move because fans don’t want important scenes to be cut out of the movie! (especially the sex & birthing scenes) Also, it seems as if the entire saga had gone by too quickly & the fans want it to last longer, so why not 2 movies? The book is very long, & it’d be best to have almost every detail, so 2 movies would be great! If they made it into 3 movies, that’d be EVEN BETTER! More movies is more money for Summit. (:

Stacey says:

I agree with two movies, but I’m a little concerned about the lack of material in the second half of the book. Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter, is going to have to take a lot of liberties with the second half of the book, possibly by adding an actual fight scene with the Voluri in the showdown at the end. I believe that there is enough material in the first part of the book (Bella and Edward’s wedding, honeymoon, bella’s pregnancy) to fill up the first movie, but the second movie will need a lot of action sequences and more dialogue.

L in says:

One three-hour movie should cover it and save fans some money.

Russell Ralph Castillo says:

Breaking this movie into two would allow for the story lines to be played out more in each movie. Two movies mean more minutes and more for us the viewers.

Alyssa says:

I think making Breaking Dawn into 2 movies is the only way to do it. The book has too much content for just 1 movie. I myself think that the first movie should end at the birth of Renesmee and the end of Bella’s human life. It is the perfect break in the story. I can’t wait to see Eclipse and I am looking forward to seeing how Summit will bring Breaking Dawn to the big screen!

Andrea Gaxiola says:

Yes I think its a wonderful idea to make it into two films! There is so much going on in the last book it would be a shame to leave anything out. Plus I think we twilight fans would love seeing as much as we can of our favorite charaters:)

RDM says:

It seems six to one half dozen either way. The pace of the movies so far has been mindnumbingly slow anyway, so that one movie feels like two. Maybe actually making it two will have some paradoxical time dilation so it seems normal. One can hope.

Pawan says:

I think it is a bad idea to make it into movies. I loved all the books, but felt that the first 3rd of Breaking Dawn was stretched out too much. A majority of it focused on the Pregnancy and then the baby. There was a lot going on towards the end of the book, but not enough to make it into to good movies. Breaking Dawn should be made into just one really great film, not extended into two for monetary reasons.

Gloria says:

I think this is great because the movie will feel more complete. The book definetly has areas which can not be bypassed and I believe the true character of the book will shine through with two movies.

Amanda Mottern says:

I think it’s a good idea to make the final book into two movies not only because we can’t enough of Edward!!! But because the book is written in two sections (one in Jacob’s point of view, the other in Bella’s) it would be awesome if they could make the movies that way. Can’t wait for Eclipse!

Gary Holt says:

I want to win tickets for my wife! She loves the books and movies. She’s told me about the last book being awesome and not being able to wait for the movies, so I know making the movies into two will just keep her happy longer.

Lisa Lentz says:

I think if they do make 2 movies they should release them very close together! I don’t want to have to wait a year in between to see the movies!!

Courtney Caron says:

I think that it could be good and bad

Good because… This book has alot of parts that the shouldn’t be left out of the movie. As the reader I want to see everything!

Bad becuase… Waiting for the 2nd part to come out will hard. How would they end the first one? too be continued? I think it would be to hard to split it up and could end up being disappointing

Veronica Valles says:

The last published book for the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn should be filmed in two parts. If done any other way the love story that so many have fallen in love with, will not be complete. There is so much to be told that it would not be able to be done in a one part movie. Either way looking forward to seeing Eclipse and Breaking Dawn whether it is one or two movies!

Amber Moe says:

I absolutely think Breaking Dawn should be made into 2 movies. The main reason being it doubles the amount of screen time for the delightful cast, and my viewing pleasure.

Randall Provencher says:

Okay I feel that they should make it into 2 part cause people would feel like if they try to put everything into a 2 hour movie they feel like there missing alot from the book.If you think about it would you rather watch a 2 hour movie with only a quarter of the story to it or watch 2 2 hour movie or even 2 1/2 hour movie that has the whole story to it.

Vanessa NUMBER 1 TWILIGHT FAN!!! says:

I am SO glad they’re breaking it up into two films!!! I read all the books, and there is SO much that happens in the last book; if it were left out of the movie, true fans would be dissapointed. But at the same time, if they included it all in one movie, people who haven’t read might not understand, and might not want to sit there for 6 hours, haha!

Caryl De Rade says:

Only one movie? No Way! “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” is too jammed with new life to be condensed into one movie. As it begins, Bella transforms from a new bride to a mother, and then happily, joyfully, to a newborn vampire. BUT THEN, everyone she loves is threatened by the merciless Volturi. New, talented characters join Bella and her vampire family to protect her world, her daughter, her beloved Edward and her magical Jacob. Bella’s wondrous journey and her story of true love deserves TWO movies! And WE deserve to see all the luscious details of this fabulous book played out TWICE. This fourth book is the perfect ending to Bella’s story, and is the “Gone With The Wind” epic of our time.

James Forrest Smith says:

The 2-film split for “Breaking Dawn” is an excellent idea for these reasons:
1) There is so much content in the book that is required to be in the movies. If important parts of the book, such as the wedding and the honeymoon, were removed in a one-film-format, then the story would be ruined. Just like “HP Deathly Hallows”, every part of “Breaking Dawn” is essential.
2) Certain parts of the story take a long time to tell and need to be spot on, not condensed like many “novel to movie writing” is done.
3) My final reason is simple: More is better!!! 5 movies are better than 4, right? And, Twilight is just amazing!!!!!!!!

Leslie T says:

I think having Breaking Dawn into two different movies is great! For those of us who love the books. I think this will allow the screenwriters to include so much more in the movie. I personally think they can squeeze the wedding, honeymoon, pregnancy and transformation into one..and then when the scene where Alice drops the vase and turns and says they are all coming for us..can be a cliff hanger stop in the first film and then the second film can be all about Bella discovering her talent and how they outwit the Volturri. I truly hope they don’t cut out anything out of the book. I was truly disappointed with the scenes they cut out of New Moon. They gave the whole movie for you to fall in love with Jacob but not enough time to fall in love with Edward again..so if you haven’t read the books it doesn’t make sense..so for the new movie Breaking Dawn..it such an intense book they really need to take the time to have everything in it..so yes my vote is two movies!!

Ryan M says:

I think it’s a great idea to split the book into two movies. Splitting the book will allow for a better film adaption from the movie. I would really appreciate if they can take the time to include all the different vampires and there abilities in the newest film..I can’t wait to see it!

Araceli Perez says:

I think it is a great idea for the public watching and the people making money off of it. My daughter’s love to compare the book to the movie so if it is split, more of the true story line can be shown and it will prolong the saga.

Lillian Morales says:

I definitely think that making two movies out of”Twilight: Breaking Dawn” is a great and awesome move! Because in the book you don’t just get Bella Swan’s point of view, but you also get Jacob Black’s and what he is going through, not to mention Bella’s transformation from human to vampire and the addition of her daughter Renesmee. So as you can see if the story is only made into one movie, too many important details might be left out or the movie might seemed rushed. As a Big Fan of the Twilight series, I would love to see Breaking Dawn split into two parts, even if that means having to wait “with lots of patience”, for the second part. For like the saying goes “Save the Best for Last”.

cassandra sanchez says:

honestly, I read the last book about four times. it’s my favorite book out of the four, there is soo much that goes on in it, so many tranformations, I wonder how they will even be able to bring a book like that alive! cutting it in two movies seems like the best idea, giving them more time to be able to do this.. I can’t wait to see

Courtney says:

Yes, they should make it into 2 movies because the teenagers will have nothing to do after the series is over.

alex hurtado says:

yes,you can get more money and you can put more of the story in to it

Jenn S. says:

Yes, I do believe that separating the final book into two films is a good idea. Having so much of the stories from the books be left out already, it would have been tough to watch the final book be butchered to fit into one feature film. In fact, I think that making two films is the only way filmmakers could have done justice to the book and satisfied the fans. Very good call.

Esther Banuelos says:

I think it should be made into two movies, because the exciting part is waiting for the “next ” movie. So we would have two movies to look forward to! I think a lot would be left out if it was condensed to one movie.Better marketing!

Vanessa Luna says:

Yes, definitely. Breaking up the book into two movies is a good idea because there is so much important information in it that needs to be in the movie to get the story right. True Twilight fans would appreciate having the movie split into two because it would allow the movie to get the closest it can to the book.

I’m so excited to see it.

Cynthia Suarez says:

I think that it is a good idea to split the fourth book into two. I like to compare the movies to the books, and splitting it into two is a good way to follow the book as close as possible. I can’t wait to see it! Ive already re-read the books and watched the movies again just to refresh my mind its such a great story.

Taylor Cadriel says:

Yes i do think it would a good move to make Breaking Dawn into two films. They wouldn’t be able to get all of the story into just one movie. There is so much vital information that needs to be told in the movie that it is necessary to make two decent length films. I would be willing to wait for an extra movie if the story would then be more detailed. =) -Taylor

Helen says:

I think two movies is the only way to go. The book has more than enough going on to support both movies. The story line is awsome and must be shared in two movies to do it justice. Too much will be lost and one movie would be to long. I can’t wait to see the book come to life on the big screen. A winner for all because there will be twice the $’s made on the movies. Best of all I would get to go to the movies twice with my granddaughter.

Mandi says:

Of course two movies is a better idea. It is a win-win situation for both fans and movie makers.

“Breaking Dawn” was my favorite book, Stephanie Meyers writing was unbelievable. She went into so much detail about each and every character, that it gave purpose to everyone that was ever introduced. I loved all the back stories of some of my fav. characters, beyond Bella, Edward, and Jacob. I can’t even imagine trying to cram that all in one movie and giving any justice to the book.

I am def. looking forward to both parts.

jacob calles says:

yes its a good idea, maybe then they could tell the movie like the story more precisely.

Diane says:

Yes–two movies gives you more detail in each one. If it is condensed into one movie you will lose part of the story. For it to be close to the book, two movies is the way to go. If the stars are available, which I am sure they would be, go with two.

Richard Sweeney says:

Yes, I think breaking the final movie into two parts is a good move. If you look at the number of pages the books have grown, it’s an average of about 100 per book. The last book has almost 300 pages more than the first book. With it being twice as long, it should be twice the movie, or too much could left out and upset the fans!

Christy says:

Yes, I was hoping they would make the final book into two movies because I feel the 4th book is too long for one movie. Plus, it keeps one of my favorite book series/movies going longer…like Harry Potter. Yea for us Twilight fans! Go Team Jacob ;)

Dawn Williams says:

I like the idea of two movies for Breaking Dawn. The book in the series took me the longest to read only because I didn’t want it to end.
There is way more going on in Braking Dawn so I can see how it could be broken up into two movies.
So………………………….I vote “YES” two movies please!

Courtney says:

Yes it will be 2 movies! Following Harry Potter’s lead, I’m sure.

Neerod Nagle says:

Yes, it’s a great idea since it gives the viewers and fans more to look forward to and keeps the franchise alive. Fun for all.

Gloria Silva says:

I’m interested in how it’s all gonna end or will there be another sequel.

Kelly says:

If it takes 2 movies to get all the good stuff on the screen then got for it….why cut a bunch of stuff out…I’ve seen movies based on books where they cut too much out to make a 2 hour movie…and they normal aren’t good.

AAG says:

It will be hard to wait between the two films, but yes I feel that two movies will be the best way to go. As others have already stated, there is just too much information to get into one film. It would be very choppy and many major details and events would have to be left out in order for it fit into one film.

Marc says:

By splitting the last movie into two movies they have a win-win situation. First, it is going to make all the twilight fans happy to have another movie. It will also allow the filmmakers to add more details from the book they would have to cut out if they only had one film. Second, from the studios’ standpoint, it is another blockbuster movie for the studio.

Jamie says:

I think it’s a great idea that they are making Breaking Dawn into two movies!! I don’t think that everything that happens in the book would fit into one 2 hour movie. Plus it will give the fans 2 more movies to look forward to after Eclipse comes out!! I will be curious to see how and where they split the story to make 2 movies :)

Ms Hensley says:

Either way, it willbe a big hit because of its appeal to the females who will see it in droves, hopefully with a sweet man at their sides.

Cassandra Tovar says:

I’m very excited the summit entertainment group decided to make Breaking Dawn into two films because there is just so much going on with the story line its almost necessary. On the other hand I am disappointed that I have to wait until November 2011 for the first film of the two. I wonder how long I’ll have to wait fpor the second! Either way I can’t wait to see Eclipse…I love Edaward!

Anissa Lotspeich says:

I think that there definitely needs to be 2 movies because there is way too much happening to fit into one movie! I also think there needs to be two versions of the film….rated r and rated pg because of the much anticipated “honeymoon scene”!!!! Please please please please pick meeeee1!!!!!!!!

Judith Palmer says:

It will be good if they pay attention to more detail of the books and it will make them more money and the actors will have more jobs. My great nephew loves them and it will be neat for him to have two more instead of one.

Kayla says:

In a couple ways i think it is a very good idea, then on the flip side i dont think it is a good idea. For one reason, the book is split into two point of views jacob’s and Bella’s. If the condence it into one movie, the two point of views will ultimatly be eliminated. Though two will bring in more money and anticipating fans. So ultimalty i have decided that two movies is a better choice, considering the multi level events that happen in the book.

Ah says:

Definitely the right choice to make it two parts. It will allow for so many more details and hopefully its worth the wait.

Kris says:

I would like to see Breaking Dawn released in 2 parts so that the story can be fleshed out more completely than if it was condensed into 1 movie.

Diane Rader says:

I had not read the Twilight books and my girlfriend asked me to go see New Moom with her…I hadn’t seen the first Twilight…but agreed. I really was lost and thought what is the big hype? But THEN…I saw the first Twilight which made the New Moon make since so have now watched both of those over 20 times…and can’t wait for Eclipse!!! The anticipation is so much of the experience…watching the cast on different talk shows…behind the scenes…one of the kind of sagas you don’t want to end…so I am glad they are making the 4th one into 2 movies…so much more to look forward to!

LISA says:

I am so happy that this is going to be made into two movies. I love the franchise so much and am incredibly happy that I will get to see more of it. I like this idea because I think with two movies, important details of the story will not get left out and all crammed up into just one movie. That would be so disappointing. I am so happy to hear about the decision for two movies. I am most looking forward to it all!

Michelle says:

I think that splitting the fourth book into two movies was a good idea in the sense that for those of us who have read the books, every detail is important and should be incorporated into the films. I felt that some key parts were left out of the first and second movies, and know that by making two movies for Breaking Dawn, the details will be integrated. The only problem that they might have will be finding the ideal place to split the book, (**SPOILER AHEAD**) but I think splitting it right before Bella becomes a vampire would be great and would add suspense and a cliffhanger for those who haven’t read the book because they might think that Bella dies.

nakitia williams says:

YES I BELIEVE THE DECISION TO MAKE BREAKING DAWN INTO TWO FILMS WAS A GOOD CHOICE. THE MOST IMPORTANT BEING THE FANS WE LOVE THE SERIES. IT’S SO VERY POPULAR. IT’S NOT ONLY FOR TEENAGERS, BUT FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES. THE CRAZE PEOPLE CRAVE FOR TEAM EDWARD AND TEAM JACOB. THE MARRIAGE BETWEEN BELLA AND EDWARD. THE BIRTH OF THEIR DAUGHTER RESSIE THE HALF VAMPIRE HALF HUMAN BABY. THE BOOK COVERS SO MUCH DETAILS IT COULDNT BE FIT INTO A TWO HOUR FILM. THE

MARGARET BAUTISTA says:

YES, THE DECISION SUMMIT MADE TO SPLIT BREAKING DAWN INTO TWO FILMS IS A EXCELLENT CHOICE. ONE BEING THE FANS LOVE AND CRAVE THE TWILIGHT SAGA. WE ALWAYS WANT MORE EDWARD. THE BOOK HAS SO MUCH DETAIL TI CAN NOT BE COVERED IN A TWO HOUR FILM.

CRYSTAL J says:

I LOVE THE FACT SUMMIT CHOSE TO SPLIT BREAKING DAWN INTO TWO FILMS. THE BOOK IS SO VERY DETAILED IT CAN NOT BE COVERED IN JUST A TWO HOUR FILM. THE MARRIAGE WHICH INVOLVED EDWARD AND BELLA. THE BIRTH OF THEIR DAUGHTER HALF HUMAN HALF VAMPIRE RENESSME. THE TRANSICTION IN WHICH BELLA BECOMES A VAMPIRE WHILE GIVING BIRTH. THE CONNECTION JACOB BLACK THE WEREWOLF NOW SHARES WITH THE BABY. THE WHOLE TWILIGHT SAGA IS NOT ONLY FOR YOUNG TEENAGERS, BUT FOR EVERYBODY. MANY PEOPLE CAN RELATE TO THE MOVIES IN SOME TYPE OF WAY. THE FANS ARE VERY IMPORTANT AND CRAVE MORE AND MORE. SOME ARE FOR TEAM EDWARD SOME LIKE TEAM JACOB THEN SOME EVEN ARE TEAM SWITZERLAND. IT’S A WAY FOR BUSINESS TO MAKE MONEY. SELLING MERCHANDISE. THE THEATERS WILL MAKE MONEY AS WELL KNOWING THE SAGA IS SUCH A PHENOMENON. SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT WILL MAKE MILLIONS FOR MAKING IT INTO TWO FILMS, ALONG WITH THE ACTORS AND CREW MEMBERS.

RACHALLE BOYD says:

YES!!!!!! IT’S A GREAT CHOICE SUMMIT MADE TO MAKE BREAKING DAWN INTO TWO FILMS. IT’S A HUGE SELLING THE FANS WANT AND CRAVE IT. PEOPLE OF ALL AGES LOVE THE TWILIGHT SERIES. SOME HOW EVERYBODY CAN RELATE. THE BOOK IS GREAT, AND COVERS SO MUCH DETAILS IT WOULD BE HARD TO FIT IT ALL INTO ONE. ALTHOUGH ON THE OTHER HAND THAT MEANS US THE FANS WILL HAVE TO WAIT LONGER FOR THE ENDING, BUT IT WILL BE WELL WORTH THE WAIT. I’M VERY HAPPY EVERYBODY IS SIGNED ON TO STILL CONTINUE WITH THE FRANCHISE. WITHOUT US THE FANS THE FRANCHISE WOULD NOT BE WHERE IT IS TODAY. SO I AM VERY HAPPY IT’S A WELL LIKED SERIES. I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF EDWARD.

Ivonne Cruz says:

I think is a good idea. I think that way because that would give more time for that movies makers to put more detail into the movie. Also because the movie is going to be way to long for the people. Is also a good idea because if you just do the movie all together the movies of twilight is goig to end really soon. So it is a good idea.

Anonymous says:

Yes because they can incorporate more of the story in both films.

Hi, yes I think its a good idea to make breaking dawn separated into two movies. You have to admit many sequences of events take place in the story. It seems to me that if the fans really want every single detail from the story to be in the movie then the movie would be too long. So, I think it would be better to separate so we can still enjoy the last moments we have of the twilight saga before it ends. We can savor the moments better this way because all of us twilighters are gonna be crying to see the story end.

Jennifer says:

Then why are you entering this contest? It just doesn’t make sense that you would, if you don’t even like the movies…

Celine says:

I definitely think that it is a good idea to separate Breaking Dawn into two movies. There is just too much that happens in the final book to make it into one movie. The only other thing that they could have done is make a really long movie like Gone With The Wind and have an intermission.

Jennifer says:

I think it is a great idea to create two movies out of it. And I’m thinking that the best area to split them is when she becomes a vamp. I can see them just showing her right after and then cutting it off for fans to go crazy with anxiety. :)

Estie says:

it should be because if harry potter can do it so can twilight..they should also just prolong the movies…

Estee says:

it has to be because it can show the before and after Renesmee!!! Also, it is the longest book of the series and should be put in 2 movies since there is soo much story to put in a movie.

bella says:

everyone loves the series and can’t get enough and they are providing fans with more Twilight!

estefania says:

summit is trying to continue making this series end slowly. They know that twihard fans are always hungry for more and they should make breaking dawn 2 movies so that fans can be satiated.

jorge says:

all the movies are great and there was a lot of storyline in breaking dawn it cannot all fit in 2 hours, thus it should be 4.

minnie says:

It should be in two films because the first can be all about how they are getting married and her ready to become a vampire and Cullen forever. And the second can be about her having a child and being a vampire and a final battle against the Volturi.

Dena says:

I am sort of torn, yes and no on breaking the movie in to two films. I don’t see why they can’t just make one three hour movie and fit all the main stuff in. But then again in they make it into two movies they would have more room to add more stuff in. But if they are gonna make it two films them they better take the time to add in all the extra stuff or it will just be bitterly disapointing!

Chris says:

Of course it is, production cost is less, so more profits. Plus, you have a captive audience who will need to see the next part to find out what happened at the end of the previous story.

Rachael says:

I really don’t think it’s a good idea for them to make two movies out of the last book. The last book was one of my favorites and I don’t think I could handle waiting months in between the two halves of the book. Besides, I think the whole thing could fit into one movie — maybe just a little longer?

Cj says:

I think it’s an awful idea because then there are 5 of these annoying movies that my Wife might make me watch instead of 4. However, if I win her tickets I am the hero so there you go. :)

Amanda Garcia says:

I think it is a good idea because if you try and pack it into one movie you will not understand all that is going on. I think all veiwers should leave the movie theatre understanding all that has happened without gaps and questions left unanswered. My friends and I were all so happy when they said that 2 movies would be made.

christy says:

I think it is a good idea as long as you are not too sold on them sticking to the plot line of the actual book, which I’m not. There isn’t enough conflict in the first half of the book leading up to the wedding to make an engaging movie out of, so they will need to manufacture some, which I’m sure they can manage.

Kristy says:

I think its a good idea as the end is near for the series and it allows the viewers to enjoy it that much more.

LVEE says:

This is so great because I love the movies and books and this will give an opportunity to see the final chapters come to an end in detail! It will definitely give chapters the essence of the books coming to an end and this will give us more to look forward to after the first part of Breaking Dawn is over. I am immsensely happy with this decision!

Mouy says:

I think it could possibly be a good idea, but I don’t think it is. This is because they cut out so much stuff already in each of the two movies to date, and they don’t provide enough of a background story in the movies like the books do. Could they make stuff up to make 2 movies? Sure. Would it be worth the money to see? Probably not. The books go so much more in depth with the characters that a movie cannot, which in the end, does not make it as interesting to watch. Plus, the book is so long because the author had to describe every scene, feeling, etc. In a movie, it’s all in front of you to see, that they could fit everything in book 4 into 1 movie.

likeitsLISSSA says:

I really dont see why people think its an ‘awful’ idea. They just must not be fans and just want to say something but I think that its an excellent idea because the fans will get to see more and they will get to see how the story unravels on film as it comes to its conclusion. I am extremely happy that they decided to break it into two films, it will give me more to enjoy. Instead of one movie, I will get to see two and will get to see more detail because the last book is very important in detail. For people who have not read the book, the last book must be thoroughly thought out and put into film properly. I am very excited about this and cannot wait to see it!

Lauren Moore says:

Yes, I think that making Breaking Dawn into two movies is a good idea because I am a huge fan of the Twilight Saga, and I would enjoy any opportuninty to make the movies longer and add a fifth one to the mix.

Breaking Dawn was a really complex book, and it practically starts over with a new story, so they should definitely turn it into two films. And not only that, I thnk they should make it Rated R to fully include everything in the book without a censor.

Mary Ann "Ana" Ramirez says:

Yes! Breaking Dawn should be made into two movies.
There is way too much of the story for it to be put into just one movie. Bella and Edward’s wedding, honeymoon, her pregnancy, transformation into vampire, and Jacob’s view of everything. As a Twilight series Fan, my vote is YES! for two Breaking Dawn movies.

Esme says:

I think that it is a wonderful idea. Often, movies based off of books don’t do justice to the book. Perhaps because an hour and half can’t capture the depth and all the detail of the plot. Splitting the book in to two movies might just give the book justice. This could be the one time that someone says that a movie was just like the book.

Kim Frankian says:

I think it’s a great idea to make Breaking Dawn into two movies. It will keep the fan base going that much longer. We don’t want to see the series end.

Mrs Castillo says:

Breaking Dawn I feel has so much internal and external conflicts that two movies are the best way to go. For example Bella comes face to face with the “reality” that she has chosen; becoming a woman/wife; a mother and finally a vampire. Jacob becoming the alpha wolf; acceptance that he will lose his best friend. Edward faces his biggest fear of all, losing Bella. And of course one of the biggest fears for all….. facing the Volturi. As a Twi-hard fan Summit Entertainment made the right decision!

erica says:

It’s a good idea. The production company will make twice the money.

Heather says:

Making this book into two movies is a brilliant idea. I feel the first movie should focus on bellas life still a human and the second should be everything after she becomes immortal. There is much to much going on in Breaking Dawn to even begin to try and cram it all down it would end up being a huge disappointment to every twilight fan. The movies are bound to be a sucess and it would make way more money with two movies!

Alyse Miranda says:

Iwould love breaking dawn to be two movies just becuse if it was one movie it would be too short and i just never want the story to end they are immortal and the sory must go on forever TEAM EDWARD FOREVER!!!!!

Joe Pasillas says:

i think its fine just that they make the movies and i will be fine. Surely I am team Jacob who would want their kid to go out with a pale dude? not me! Team Jacod cuz Werewolfs rule!

Jennifer Criswell says:

I like the idea of a split into two movies because it means another day I get to spend hanging out with my mom. And, I’ll admit, more time looking at Jasper. Seriously, who cares about Edward?

Mary Alexis Kate Nopuente says:

I agree, they should make two movies for breaking dawn. All the fans would absolutely like that! A lot of things happened in breaking dawn; thus, compressing it just to one movie, we, the twilight addicts, will for surely not be satisfied and content. Or, they could make it a 4-hour movie! hahaha! so we wouldn’t have to wait for months again!

Mari says:

I was so glad to hear that Breaking Dawn is going to be broken down into two installments. Breaking Dawn is one of my favorite Twilight installments and I really don’t think that one movie would have done it justice. I remember right after I finished reading Breaking Dawn, the first thing that went through my head was “How on earth are they going to fit all of this into a movie?” I believe that by making two movies instead of one, they are allowing themselves the opportunity to tell the last chapter as it should be told-in its entirety, without cutting a lot of crucial parts out. Sounds like someone definitely knew what they were doing – we true twilight fans salute you!

AcidBurn says:

Very good idea! The beehive rules!! I’m dying to see this flic!!

AcidBurn says:

Very good idea! The beehive rules!! I’m dying to see this flic!!

Morgan says:

Yes, two movies!!! I do dont want the movies to ever end. Drag it out to two movies and include every little detail from the books. I have all the books and have read them at least 10 times each. TWO MOVIES!

Joey Zambrano says:

Everyone knows the only reason why there making 2 movies out of it is so they can milk this franchise for everything it has. Is it a smart move? To make more money absolutely… but as far as it needed to exist … not at all. I could care less. They just need to show Bella topless already. :)

techichick says:

I think it is a good idea to make two movies. There is too much drama/action in the book. I don’t think that the industry would be able to do the book justice. Too many times there are details left out of the movies from the books that leave the readers unhappy.

Makayla McCann says:

I think it’s a good idea to do two movies because there is so much happening in breaking dawn. This book is one of my favorites and there is no way they can get all the details from the book into one movie. Not all the fans would be happy if they left out certain parts in the movie. And it gives us more chances to see Edward!!!:)

Diana says:

It seems to me that if the fans really want every single detail from the story to be in the movie then the movie would be too long. I feel the first movie should focus on bellas life still a human and the second should be everything after she becomes immortal. There is much to much going on in Breaking Dawn to even begin to try and cram it all down it would end up being a huge disappointment to every twilight fan.Sorry for my long comment Im just such a control freak when it comes to this:)

Dez says:

Two movies is better so us fans aren’t cut short of the detail and all the good stuff in Breaking Dawn

Tee says:

I would like to see Breaking Dawn in two movies so my sister will shut up about it already

Jennifer Thomason says:

Absolutely agree with making Breaking Dawn into two movies! I was really bummed when Twilight came out and left so many things that were in the book out of the movie. New Moon was a little better, but still missed a lot. If they make it into two movies for one it will not be over as soon lol..and for two there will be a lot more that was in the book in the movie. Wish they would have make all of them into two movies so we could get every detail! lol…Can’t wait to see them!

Austin says:

Breaking Dawn was by far the best book so in order for the movie to do the book justice it would have to come in two installments. The book was facinating and i cant wait to see the movie and how beautiful it will come out!

Angela says:

Two books are great, we will have one more movie to watch, and more Twlight to take in yeah!

Lucia says:

Great idea because: 1) it’s one extra movie; and 2) it’s more money for the franchise. I say go for it.

Tammy says:

Yes, I think it is a good idea to create two movies. The book is the largest in the series and there is too much content for one movie. As it is alot is left out when translating a book to the screen so trying to condense Breaking Dawn into one movie would have left too much out.

Suezan Roblyer says:

2 movies great idea lots of dough rollin in the young girls & their mother’s will pay to watch….

Dian Gonzales says:

At first, I was disappointed to hear they are making two movies out of the Breaking Dawn book and then I started thinking how sad I was when the Lord of the Rings movies ended and how sad I was when I finished reading all the Harry Potter and Twilight books….these books really draw you into their world and you don’t want that world to end…so from a fan standpoint – it will be good to prolong the movies and allow us to remain in the Twilight world a bit longer. So, I vote that making two movies out of the one book is a good idea. I just hope that they come out one year after the next so that we don’t have to wait so long. Any longer and the excitement and anticipation sort of diminishes.

Amanda says:

I think it is a good idea. At first I was bummed, but then I realized that the book was long and had a lot of content. I would hate for the directors and producers to leave something out just to keep it to a shorter movie. I love the books and movies and I want to see the whole thing with as much detail as possible. Therefore, I think it is a great idea to seperate it into two movies. I can’t wait to see them!!!

Gloria Ferrer says:

Would love to go to this premiere!!

Alice Wagner says:

YES!! You can’t fit all those details from the book into one movie! That’s crazy talk! :) It has to be a two parter!! Besides you can never have too much Edward!

MAQ10 says:

The more movies the merrier!! I heart Eclipse!!

Anna says:

I think it is a good idea because there is too much in the last book to condense into one movie. The series needs to conclude with a bang and not a flop. It is also great for us fans because we can’t get enough of our favorite vampires and wolf pack!

John W says:

Twice the fun with a bigger gift box at Xmas. Cool.

Shonna says:

I understand the need to not try to cram in the whole story in one film and thereby leave out the good stuff, but they will leave us hanging for 9 months until the next one comes out! How about making it one 3 hour movie?

Flora says:

Yes!!! It could not be any other way and do justice to the book. Can hardly wait to see them. It is not just for teens, other ages enjoy it as much if not more!

John W says:

Twice the fun with a bigger gift box at Xmas. Cool.

anonymously says:

I love the idea of 2 movies. They’re so fantastic and the more movies the powers that be make the more money they’ll make and the more fun I’ll have with my friends.

Liz says:

I think making it into two seperate movies is a GREAT idea! There is no way they can fit everything that’s in the book into just one movie. There’s so much going on in the book and so much information that it only seems right to make it into two movies. We don’t want them to leave anything out, right! :)

Sergio Cordova says:

Great Idea. The production company will make twice the money.

sarah says:

if it’s two movies then I get to ditch work and go to the movies TWICE!

Young at heart says:

For selfish reasons I want there to be 2 movies. This will be a great way of extending the life of the series, because I will definately be sad to see them end just as I was when I read the last word on the page. It’s crazy to admit, but I was up into the wee hours reading because I could not put the book down. I’m sure my husband thought it was pretty ridiculous. So what! They have to get all the details included into the last movies, so it is imperative that it is done the right way which would be having Breaking Dawn split into two parts…..Please!

excelandaccess says:

absolutely they should split it up. It’s twice the revenue for nearly half the cost of two movies. All the merchandise, plus extended promotion by having both.

Danielle says:

They would be crazy not to! Definately, two movies! We all know there is way to much in this book to cram into one movie, I dont see how it would do this sequel any justice if they didn’t make two movies. It was hard enough watching the first two movies and knowing so many things were left out!

Beth Abate says:

I loved all the books and have reread them.. The movies aren’t coming out fast enought for.. I also buy them when I can.. I would love to be able to go..

Suzette says:

Of course I think it is a great idea….let’s see….two movies to look forward to, or one??? No question! Two movies will draw the same about of people each and make more money for the project. No brainer.

Jim says:

I would much rather they make two movies than make me sit in a theater for 4 hours. If it needs to be split in order to fit all of the important details than do it.

Really I just want to win tickets so that I can take my crazy fan of a wife to see the movie for her birthday which is on the 29th.

Tara says:

Yes! I think that is a great idea. Splitting it into two different movies would allow for better explanation of everything that happens.

Akayla Ruiz says:

I think it’s a great idea. There is so much to cover in the last book & i wouldn’t want to miss any of it. Also, since we were robbed of a 5th book via the internet i think this will keep the excitement alive!

mimi says:

I think splitting the book into two movies is the best way to go!! This way there won’t be as much left out of the movie like the others, at least that’s what it felt like for me!! I think the last book is the best, so the more story line, characters, relationships, action(both in/out of bed;)) the best!!!

Whitney says:

I think it is a good idea, the last book is huge. But I am disappointed in the timeline of the release dates, seems so long. New Moon was released last November and now we have to wait until NEXT November 2011 and then the 5th movie in 2012? I know it takes a long time to make a movie but I wish they would have gotten on the ball so we didn’t have to wait as long.
Yay Eclipse, it was my favorite book. I hope I win!

ames says:

I think that it is a very smart idea to turn the last book into 2 movies. The last book contains so much vital information and since it also has to sum up everything and tie it all together. If they had chosen to just make it one movie, I’m sure a lot of followers would be disappointed and feel like they did not end the series correctly. The script writers could have even made the first books into more than just one movie as well. Especially since a lot of people who read the books didn’t really like the first movie because it left out a lot of really important things that were portrayed and described thoroughly in the book but then were only briefly touched upon or not even in the movie.

Stu says:

My wife just surprised me with the best fathers day weekend ever!! so i would love to surprise her with sneak preview tickets!! And by the way, splitting the book into two movies is a win win…they make tons of more money and the fans get to see even more of the twilight saga. Also..the last book is the best of the series, so I’ve heard!!

Lauren says:

I think two movies is the best option! The more Taylor Lautner the better! There is no doubt that Twilight fans would be there to support both movies! The final book was my favorite and the story line takes so many twists and turns that two movies would serve it well!

Diana Fairburn says:

Yes, I think it’s a good idea to make two movies out of Breaking Dawn. The book is very long, and to jam everything into 1 movie would mean that we, the fans, would be sitting through a very very very long movie. Also there are two different story lines in the book, so breaking it up won’t be hard to do. And lastly, it is a way to prolong the suspense of the final movie. Making us fans want more and more of something is sometimes a good thing.

Al Pulcifer says:

It’s definitely ok to split the book …. that gives more opportunity to keep up the Edward/Jacob camps rivalry…

Isabelle says:

I think it is a great idea to make Breaking Dawn into 2 movies. I have always felt when a movie is made based on a book, alot is left out, especially if one has read the book 4 time as I had. I have viewed a movie and come out realizing they had left out alot. There is so much to cover in the last book it would be nice to see alot of it in the movie.

Dean Guerrine says:

Hi my names Dean i just move to Fresno with my wife and we both love the Twilight series. We both managed to get through all the books in about ten days which for me was no mean feet. Its imbarissing but i just couldnt put the books down. We have seen both the movies so far and loved them both. It would be great to see this one in Fresno together as it would be the first movie we have seen since we arrived.
I think its great that they are making the last book “Breaking Dawn” into two seperate movies. It was a long book and ultimatly in movie form it could create a suspense that not everyone could maybe get from reading it. Also you can look at it another way. The economy has taken a pounding all over the world recently and with that known we would all still more then likely choose a movie like this to take our kids or nieces or nephews to spend that hard earned few dollers. Its also a movie you could go on a first date to see and by doing this you pay for your ticket in a local theatre and you ultimatly create demand were by some lucky un-employed person might be able to get a evening job. And i am all for that type of stuff so i say great idea!

Leslie says:

Yes, should be two movies because you can never get enough and it will be sad when it ends!

Sierra says:

More viewing time for Team Edward!!

Ray O'Canto says:

In the economics of the movie industry it’s all about the revenue generated by a franchise. In this case the Twilight Franchise has lived up to all the revenue and pr hype. I do think when your dealing with literary novels that the big screen doesn’t do justice at times to the content. So that being said… in this case breaking up the movie will provide for a better screenplay, more content and hopefully leave us with the two good films instead of one weak movie script.

Kelsey says:

Because I love twilight series and will hate to see the series end so I would like two.

Nancy says:

2 movies = more Edward and Jacob for us!

Susan says:

Of course TWO! How else can you get all of the great detail in and keep the storyline intact. I hate it when they ‘edit’ the film and loose the original writing.

I think that making Breaking Dawn into two movies is a brilliant idea and the only way the true essence of the book can be captured on screen. It would be an injustice if they tried to dilute the information in the book in order to fit it into a movie that is not way too long to sit still for.

Jennifer Howells says:

I’ve read all the books, but with the movies, I need as much exposure as I can get for Jacob …

Ellen K says:

YES! I think it is a GREAT idea to split the book into two movies. As an avid Twilight series reader, there is a natural break within the books. This separation lends itself to being made into two films. The final novel is overflowing with details and there must be two movies in order to convey it as a film as richly as possible. Keeping my fingers crossed that my wish comes true! :)

DJ Allison says:

I’m happy they are making two movies out of “Breaking Dawn” because, honestly, I don’t want the “Twilight Saga” to end. Part of the intrigue (apart from being a great story) is the anticipation of the movies. Hopefully, making two movies will give the film makers an opportunity to delve more into the story and reveal more details and content from the book. All the girls in my family have gotten together and made it a tradition to go see the “Twilight” movies as they come out. Whether we win pre-screening tickets or not, we will be there for “Eclipse” on opening night!! It’s a fun time and we just LOVE the story.

Marisa says:

Yes, I think it’s a great idea! I read all the books and loved the story. I’m so excited to see the filmakers spend more time on character development, which is what most fans cherish about this author. You really feel like you know each character very well.

WENDY CHAVEZ says:

I think they should cause lets think about it the book has so much detail in it and it would be so hard to explain in one single movie. And also becuase ou wouldnt want to bore the audiance with like a 5hour movie. So yes i do think you should make twilight:Eclpise into two moves

Laura says:

I think two movies is a good idea since there is a lot to cover. The wedding, the honeymoon, the baby, etc. I just hate that the we’ll probably have to wait 6 months in between.

Heather says:

I think making Breaking Dawn is a smart move. The book focuses on two major events… Bella delivering Renesmee/becoming a vampire and the battle with the Volturi. It will give each movie a chance to focus on things that you just could not overlook.

Also, it will make TONS more money than if they only made one… and thats what hollywood is about… the $$$$.

Tracy Crutchfield says:

Two movies will allow the film makers to do a better job with the story (I hope!) and will stretch out the fun for Twilight fans. Might as well give us as much Bella, Jacob, and Edward as they can…

S Torres says:

Yes, I think it is a great idea, in that to put too much into one movie may distract from properly telling the story in one very long movie, However on the business side of things I think you know the answer.

liliana says:

For me I actually think that making the movie in 2 is a clever idea. One is that alot of fans would like 2 see mostly every detail going on in the movie. Two is that it is the last installment of the twilight saga. This is why I think it should be made into 2 movies.

Everett says:

Yes!! With two movies, they’ll be able to have more details, which is always good :D

Louise Hagopian says:

Boy, would I love to see this one.

Gina Mata says:

Yes, I think the movie should be two parts. The book is very big and there is so much information that needs to be presented to the fans! I am team Edward all the way. I have read the books seven times! I think Stephanie Meyer rocks as well as the franchise for the movies, the cast and of course all the memorabilia there is to get. This series is based on true love and is a love every woman wants. All women can relate and just embrace everything this story has to offer, it does not matter how old you are to enjoy this.

Sarah says:

Yes. I think it’s a good idea because so much gets left out when they try to cramp a book into a 2 hour movie. Plus it equals more money for everyone involved.

Dawn says:

Let me go and I’ll see if I like it. I work with over 5000 and can share.

Merritt Pacini says:

I think it is a marketing scheme to make more money by having two movies. So I think they should have made one.

I think making the fourth and best book into two separate movies is a fantastic idea.Too many details would be left out if made otherwise. It’s a win,win situation. Filmakers will earn more money and fans will have exactly what they’ve been waiting for.A fantastic visual ending for an amazing book!

Alma says:

I think it is a great idea for the fact that fans get to see more of these characters they’ve become attached too.

Crystal Ramirez says:

Yes I think it is a good idea to make Breaking Dawn into 2 movies. There is a lot in that book. I think if they only made one there would be to much they would have to leave out. Lot’s of important stuff in that book, so glad they are making 2 movies.

Mike Adame says:

Yes the movie needs to be made into 2. Very good book. So much happens in it, I don’t think it would be as good if they made only one.

Sam Cox says:

I can’t wait to see this film . Wish me luck.

Michele J. says:

While I agree that there are a lot of details we want to see from the book in the last movie, the story can be told in a 3 hour movie. If one truly is a Twilight series fan, 3 hours is not too long to sit in a movie. While S. Meyer has put great detail in the telling of the story, the same can be acheived from a good director and producer. That being said, I would hate to wait for the 5th movie.

Jan says:

I think that by making it into 2 movies, the story will be better told. I hate it when screenwriters glaze over important chapters and make less of significant scenes and details of stories.

Y. V. says:

Pick me. I want to win. It doesn’t matter if they make it into two movies or not, people will still watch it. Again, pick me.

Carlos says:

I think it’s a good idea because there is way too much material in the book. It would end up being a four hour movie.

Generlinda Angel says:

S. Meyers books are so well written it is almost impossible produce a 2 hour movie. I would rather see quality movies than horrible rushed movies trying to copy the book. So, I think I vote for making the last movie into two separate movies.

rose says:

i love the idea two movies for breaking dawn absolutely brilliant!! the best way i could put it is just that it’d make me go crazy anxious just trying to figure out what will happen next got me biting my nails nervous wreck type of movie lol.

JP says:

As Taylor Lautner said in a recent interview which i totally agree with!! There is much ground to cover so it is a good thing that Summit has broken Breaking Dawn into two movies…

Estefania Salgado says:

The movie needs to be 4 hours long and people don’t like being in the theatre for that long! Therefore they need to split it up into 2!!!

excelandaccess says:

I think it’s a great move. You extend exposure time, which will increase merchandise sales!

Roxy says:

I havent read those books so cant really say but it sounds like there is a demand for twilight so why not split into two movies. Somestimes to make good movies it takes more time and focus on the details so two parts would be better.

Isabella says:

OMG! Duh this series is phenomenal! Edward is a hottie!!! The last novel was so long and needs to be two movies or else it would be looong movie.

jackie says:

I love Jacob!!! Fans want as many movies as possible so its a great idea!!

katherine says:

i love this series and i really want to take my bff!!! They should make as many movies as they can!!!

Minerva says:

my daughters and i are hardcore fans! We really want to see it before anyone and i wasn’t able to get midnight tickets in time. Everyone loves this series and it is doing well it should be 5 movies because fans want more!

Estevan says:

My sisters really want to go and this will be a gift for them…Because fans would like as many movies as they can get!

bryan says:

i wanna see this movie soo bad!

Minerva says:

this movie is goin to be EPIC!!!

Estee says:

i want to win soo bad!!!

rache says:

My friend and i want to win BADLY

Angelica Ortiz says:

Yes! Many times Yes! I think it’s a great idea for Summit Entertainment to make Breaking Dawn into two movies.I’ve only being able to read the book once, yet I’m going to read it again, because it was so good and there is too much of the story for BD to be made into only one movie.
So, Yes I do think it’s a great move for the series.

Judy says:

It would be great, more detail.

Gloria says:

As much as I hate to wait the extra months to see the final film, I think that it will be worth the wait, and result in a more complete finished saga. Hopefully the lead actors will stay as youthful looking as their characters’ are supposed to remain!

Debra Goodman says:

I’m not into the whole sappy story line of Twilight, but I just like to admire Taylor Lautner’s buff bod. He is a Cougar’s Delight! I was so happy on February 11th this year when he turned 18! I no longer have to feel guilty about drooling over a teenage boy. I’m hoping next year when I go to the People’s Choice Awards, they plunk me down right next to him in the audience! Hey there, little Wolf Boy, I’d like to drag you back to my Cougar Den!

LETTY says:

I CANT WAIT THIS WILL BE THE BEST ONE OF THEM ALL LOVE THE SCENES THIS ONE WILL KEEP ME AT THE EDGE I JUST KNOW IT!!!!

Theresa Eurich says:

I have been following the stories/movies with my granddaughter. The last book was long so two movies probably not a bad idea, However, hope there is enough content, as opposed to filler, to make two movies worthwhile ..

John says:

There is more than enough content to fill two movies from the last book.

L.TERRY says:

There is so much to cover that it only make sense to break into 2 movies. And it creates more revenue for the creators and actors. Not that money would play into the decision at all :-)…
Us poor fans have to suffer the months in between release dates!!!

Connie says:

It will be hard to wait to see the 2nd part, but I think that it is necessary. I would rather the movie follow the book, instead of cutting things out!

Marquita says:

It is the best idea to make Breaking Dawn into two movies. It had so much detail in the book and so much going on in it as well, that they would have to make two movies. It’s what Twi-Hard fans want. And Summit just needs to make sure to leave all the actors and actress the same in order to have the same fill like the first 3 movies. They all deserve to get paid more anyways. Without the cast for the Cullen Family and the Wolfpack the movie would not be the same. That’s like changing the actors for Edward, Jacob and Bella. The movie would not be the same…… Can’t Wait to See Eclipse :D

Renee Haynes says:

Yes, it is a wonderful idea to make the final Twilight book into two movies. It is a very involved tale that really is rich enough in its story to make two high quality and entertaining movies!

Melissa says:

It was the best decision they could have made, there is too much info/action for one film, it HAD to be split into 2 films. Also, you gotta milk this cow dry! They will make more $$$ and the fans will be extremely happy! like myself!

jim says:

My daughter loves the books and movies

Sandy says:

I think it’s a great Idea to make two movies. There is so much in Breaking Dawn and I wouldn’t want anything to be left out! I’m counting down the days until Eclipse comes out !!!

Natalie says:

I think making breaking dawn into two movies is definitely a good decision because there are so many fans of the twilight series that making the last book into two movies gives the fans one more fix! my daughter lovvvvves watching the movies and if it would make her happy then i’m all for it! I also think that all the people in the movie are very talented and they all deserve the money they are being paid to make the films!

nicole says:

i think 2 movies, there is no way they can fit everything into one, they would have to leave to much out. 2 movies for sure!

nicole says:

i think 2 movies, there is no way they can fit everything into one, to much would be left out, 2 movies for sure!

Cheryl says:

Yes, to hopefuly get more of the details from the book.

Anita says:

I’m glad they’ve decided to split the movie into 2 parts because I never want the series to end! The longer they extend it, the better for me! Team Edward! lol And besides, they’ll make more money too. :)

debra says:

yes i believe it was a great decision summit chose to make breaking dawn into two films. it’s so much just two hours could not get all the information the book covers. it’s very exciting to see the marriage between bella and edward, and the birth of their daughter renessme. it’s interesting to see the bond in which jacob the werewolf shares with their daughter ressie. the fans love and crave the twilight madness.twilight is not only for teenagers, but for all ages. seems the fans who enjoy can relate in some type of way. it’s so huge it’s a win win situation for all. the actors and crew, summit entertaiment, stephanie meyers, etc. since the films popularity the book sales have gone up so much which is also good means people are reading.

ashley says:

yes!!!!! i’m very happy summit decided to split breaking dawn into two films. the book is so detailed it would be very hard to cover all details in a two hour film. however the draw back is the fans would have to wait that much longer for the ending, but it will be well worth the wait. the fans love and crave this twilight madness. people love team edward and team jacob. the movie industry will make millions by spliting the films along with retailers promting the merchandise. the actors and crew. i believe it’s a wonderful choice. the bond the cullens have and the marriage between edward and bella along with the birth of their half human half vampire baby renessme.

Joe says:

I really don’t care, but my girlfriend wants tickets so there.

Delanie Lowe says:

Yes, I agree that Breaking Dawn should be made two movies. The book has so much content that making two films would allow more of the story line to be shown. However, I hope that the adaptation is well enough that there isn’t a lot of dull down time with the extra time given in two movies.

Robert says:

Yes, split the book! All you have to do is look at Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to see that some books are just too long for a feature length movie. Too much gets cut for a non-reader of the book to really follow the storyline.

Sarah says:

I agree that Breaking Dawn should be two movies! I’ve heard people say “they are doing that because that’s what they did with Harry Potter…” there is sooo much going on in Breaking Dawn that I don’t think 2 hrs is long enough movie to get all the details out! I don’t think you will find anyone who is a Twilight fan, that will say “no just make one movie”….We want all those details brought to the big screen!!

Nick Ingrao says:

DO IT. I say , great idea for two movies! I am a big fan of the Twilight Saga, I would hate to see anything left out..

Serina says:

Yes, I agree to making Breaking Dawn a two movie series because the book has three parts (lots of great material). It’s also a very good book and I just want them to make a movie on this book, whether it’s one or two! I love the Twilight Series and I will be happy with whatever they decide to make!! Twilight books are the first independent books I have read and they are great!!

Robert says:

They should definitely split the book. All you have to do is look at the last Harry Potter film, Half-Blood Prince to see that some books are just too big to successfully translate to a feature length film without losing too much of the plot so that a non-reader of the novel can follow the story/plot line.

Li says:

No way!!! I’ll take one very long movie so I don’t have to wait to see the finale.

Fay M, says:

Two movies are needed to tell the whole story. Also, the actors get more work and the people who attend the movies are putting more money into the economy.

Cindy says:

It has to be two movies! There is way too much material to be condensed into one movie.

candace says:

i want to win!!! wooo hoo twilight

george says:

i hope to win for my daughters

Cierra says:

No, it’s not a good idea to stretch the book into two movies. If they make it into two movies, they will run out of content and probably add more action scenes to fill up time and make a more exciting preview. But anyone who had seen the special effects in the previous two movies will know that special effects are the last thing that will help these movies. I’m pretty sure the werewolves in the last movie were muppets.

Cindy says:

It has to be two movies! There is way too much material to be condensed into one movie.

Renee says:

I’m torn in two on this… Part of me doesn’t want to wait to see two parts….But I also don’t want them to cram it all into one and lose all the juicy details… Sooo I guess it would be better to make two movies.

Nicholas Hauck says:

I think that splitting the movie into two scores is a bad idea. Having to wait longer to see the conclusion of one of their favorite series will drive many fans crazy. Also it may cause the Twilight fanbase to decrease. I know a lot of Harry Potter fans who have already started to lose interest in Harry Potter due to the splitting up of the last film. And the same could easilt happen to fans of Twilight.

Kendall M says:

Splitting Breaking Dawn into two separate movies is probably the best idea in the long run. While it will be aggravating for fans (even if we already know the storyline) to have to wait months between movies, I know I personally would rather have the complete story, staying as close to the book as possible. With Breaking Dawn being the longest book of the series, there is no way that the writers would be able to fit in everything in just one two-hour movie. Not only that, but the book is naturally set up in two parts; before the baby and after the baby. In addition to the benefits to the storyline itself, there is always the advantage for the actors and those involved in the movie because two movies will obviously make much more money than one.

TW says:

It has to be two movies….Can’t cover it all in just one!

Jennifer says:

I think that they should make two movies out of the last book. The actual volume itself it is bigger then all of the other three books. It would also give the producers and film-makers a chance to improve the special effects, stunt-work ,and CGI for the different characters and sequences in the story. in addition, there would be important content critical to the story line that would be lost. If you look at the other movies and compare them to the books, so many things have been cut out to keep the story line.

Lupita O. says:

Its a good move from the viewer standpoint and the sales standpoint. Its good for the viewers because the movies will be more like the book then trying to fit it all into one production. Sales benefits from making a good amount of money since they have so many loyal Twilight Saga viewers.

Nancy Salazar says:

2 movies, would be a great choice as the book is basically divided in half. Spoiler allert: Part one would be life before Bella is turned into a vampire and part two would be onece Renesme is born!!!

Cassandra Marez says:

Yes! I do think it’s a good idea to make Breaking Dawn into two movies because the book is the longest of the four and there are so many important parts and details in the book that i dont think it would all fit into one movie!

Derya Guven says:

I think it’s a great idea to make “Breaking Dawn” into two seperate movies. All of the #1 selling novels for the past 10 years that had over 500 pages have made their last movie in 2 seperate parts. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows is also being seperated into 2 movies because it is on such high demand and there is so much information that they cannot simply fit everything into a 3 hour time frame. If they made the movie longer, it would not keep the viewers interest as well for they would get tired and bored too easily with a long 5 or 6 hour movie. I think putting “Breaking Dawn” into two seperate parts will help keep the viewers interest and in turn, make a lot more money as well.

Sharon says:

I think making Breaking Dawn into two movies ia a great idea. I am a 70 year old great grandmother who is a big twilight fan. I have read each book 4 times. Breaking Dawn is a big book with alot of sufficient things happening. It would be a shame to miss any part of it. Although I would sit thru a three hour movie I still don’t think you could tell every story line in three hours. I think it is great to show how a family sticks together in a crisis.

Ray Hedrick says:

Yes, make it into two, why not!! More entertainment value, more plot twists, plus it’s just a novel idea. I would hope at some point toward the end that she’ll become more rational and down-to-earth. Or, become a real vampire such as she might like. With this story, the author can make it almost anything. In the end, the marketing department will decide how best to “bleed it” (geddit?) for all it’s worth!

Bobby Higgins says:

looks cool!

Bryttny Smith says:

I believe that splitting Breaking Dawn into 2 movies is a great idea for two reasons. First, Breaking Dawn is more than 700 pages long. It would be impossible to put all that information into a “well done” 2 to 3 hour movie. Secondly, I believe that most die hard twilight fans care more about the movies following the sequence of events and details laid out in the books than just watching a “half-ass” movie that sort of and only sometimes follows the book. Personally, I fell in love with the books so much that I was glad they made the movies so I could visualize the story better. However, if the movies did not follow the books then I would not like them or watch them. The story that Stephanie Meyer created is in my opinion untouchable in needing any sort of alteration and above reproach.

Megg says:

A traditionally avid reader of non-fiction, I was skeptical to read these books. My twin 12 year old nieces pushed me to read them so that we could all talk about them together. I finally got past page 5 of Twilight, and before I knew it…I was whining on the couch with my two older sisters (both in their thirties) and my nieces, eating “Edward” shaped heart candies and tearing up at closing of a beloved series of books.

It took me 6 months to read the last 30 pages of Breaking dawn because I couldn’t let go. Extending the movie into two parts would be just as fitting. Lets face it – if you’re a fan, you’re going to have issues when the movies are over. The books covered so much and the movies, while being their own entity, left things out. Two movies for one book? That just gives us more hope that we will get to see the story we know unfold, and also anticipate a possible newer, revised ending that some of us will be happier with. (personally, I thought the series was ended/finished/wrapped up with a nice little red bow. I needed a little more tortured soul.)

Nicole says:

I would like to see it in two parts, I just don’t want the story to end! I know a lot of people feel the same way as I do.

Steve Gonzalez says:

Hello coming from a dad who has a 22yr old daughter who loves all the twilight movies. I hear and see this
vampire Edward everyday I’m starting to like the movies also, so by making the fourth movie braking dawn into a final two part movie was a great Idea. Can you imagine this vampire/wolf saga is almost coming to an end, what better than to make fans want more ! It’s going to be crazy during the last two movies and also sad for all the die hard fans, who can’t get enough. So as a dad I say keep these fans wanting more Edward & Jacob ?

broomhilda says:

2-movies is a win-win situation for the movie makers and the fans. Give us more Edward!!!!!

crystal says:

Of course Breaking Dawn should be two movies, the first would show bella’s remains of her human years and then switch to her vamp life in the 2nd movie. It’s a win-win situation for the fans and the studio. We get what we want (more time to relish twilight) and they get what they want ($$$).

veronica says:

Although there is not enough material in the 700 pages of fluff, I think two movies is better for the series because of all the reasons previously stated and because I don’t want this craze to end.

crys says:

The only reason why the studio should not make two movies is because it is not fair to the fans. We spend ton of cash already on twilight stuff we don’t nee, two movies= two sets of posters, soundtracks, t shirts, luchboxes, trading cards, calendars, board games, illustrated companions, dolls/action figures etc.

Monique says:

I think it’s great they are doing it in two books. There really is too much to make it into one and it would really lose a lot of important content if they did. I’m still really surprised how many people have only just seen the movies and never read the books. Those would just be left in the dark on a lot of parts.

Lilly Ramirez says:

I do think that making breaking dawn into two movies is a great idea. There is Bella’s story of getting married, the honeymoon, the very unexpected pregnancy, the birth of her daughter, then her transformation from human to vampire. Then you have Jacob’s point of view of the story. Way too much info for it to be made into just one long movie, and I don’t think it would work as well. I’m one Twilight Fan that says YES! to two movies.

rita says:

i want to win!!! yeahhh

Estee says:

gosh i want to win!

kat says:

Want to win!

candace says:

Bella says:

omg im freaking out i really want to win

amy says:

I think making Breaking Dawn into two movies is a good idea. The book is so long, if they tried to fit all the information into one movie much of it would be lost. This way the audience who doesn’t read the books :( can get the full effect on how Stephanie was finishing the books, by seeing both movies and not missing out.

Also I am sure the movie industry can make a little more profit this way, as well.

But I also believe making the last book into two, gives us Twilight fans a way to hang on a bit longer:)

estefania says:

B ROD says:

gotta win

Cassandra says:

I loved all the books and I expected that they would break Breaking Dawn into two movies. I just hope they don’t do it like the book. I dont wanna watch a whole movie from the perspective of Jacob and one of Bella. Only because knowing me I will get confused and the stories overlap. I just wonder how their gonna make this one work.

Max Mckenzie says:

I think that it is a good move to make two movies. But I think that the real issue here is the rating. I personally would make two movies, but make one rated PG-1 and the other R. That way they will make even more money because all of the fans will go see both of them and the people who have never seen it before will watch it just out of curiosity. And then those people will go out and watch the other movies and read the books. Thus making a very nice profit.

janicles says:

2 movies would be ideal, but the waiting is torture!!! More of Edward or Jacob is always a good thing.

candy says:

plz hope i win

Isabella says:

yeahhhh!

Estefania Salgado says:

praying i win!

Judy Krikorian says:

Two movies out of Twilight Breaking Dawn IS A MUST, the story-line, the characters, the setting…I never want it to end I want to see more!!!!!

margaret says:

i think that there should definately be two movies, the book is much too diverse to be confined to a mere 2hours!

pilar says:

I believe there should not be 2movies for the last book, then id have to sit for an extra movie with my wife

Nichole Leyva says:

There really was so much that happened in the last book that covering it all in just 1 movie would have made one VERY long movie. So I believe it is best to make it into 2 movies, especially for those fans (like my daughter & myself) that would be disappointed if certain things had to be left out in order to make one movie of the last book.

Also, it gives me yet another movie to take my 12 year old to for another date night without her little sister!

Steve says:

my girlfriend seems to think it’s a good idea, so I’ll have to agree with her. . team alice!

Melissa says:

I think that it is a really good idea. Breaking Dawn was a much more complicated in depth book then the others in the series. By splitting the movie in two parts, the fans will be able to have all the emotional rollarcoaster of both Bella and Jacob, and the gain the whole book experience.

Leslie Smith says:

Two for sure! Can’t get enough of a good thing!

Jerry Baptista says:

Fire up Team Jacob.

cacmsw52 says:

I think it is a great marketing idea to make 2 movies out of one book. My guess would be that there will be a sequel even since these two have done so well.

CELESTE says:

Hell Yeah! Giving us more an more should be epic to have both at one time. I can’t wait!

kathyst says:

Two movies, more screen time to view the actors and actresses.

Stephanie says:

It can be a good thing if they include all the details but if they are looking to make money…shame on them :)

Barbara Haas says:

This book has a lot going on. The author Stephene Meyer uses alot of graffic detail: the engament and how Edware spends money on Bella, the Wedding of the year, the honeymoon on Isle Esme, Birth of the gifter Renesmee and Bella becoming a vampire, Jake the dog who thinks nessie is his to protect and then last the war with the Volturi. YES! To much for one movie

Rachel Azevedo says:

Breaking Dawn should definately be broken down into two movies. There was A LOT going on in that book and I think it would be best captured in separate films. I’m thinking a cliff hanger ending to Part One as Bella may or may not survive having the baby.

mere words says:

It’s a good idea to make the last book into 2 movies. There’s always so much info in the books that takes time to develop and show on screen. The last book seems to be the climax of the whole series, with a wedding, an unexpected “arrival” of sorts, Bella’s transformation, and then the showdown with the Volturi. I guess the filmmakers could try to make it into one movie, but hey — it’s Twilight, not Lord of the Rings. As much as I have enjoyed this whole pop culture phenom thing, if I gotta sit 3 and 1/2 hours or more straight through that story onscreen, I may just feel like someone sucked the life right outta me, and not in a good way.

Sasha Haas says:

Great book for two movies. One movie for Romance and another for War.

Vicki Reiter says:

There is enough in Breaking Dawn to make 3 movies. I absolutely agree that they make two movies out of it. Too much will be left out as it is. I could sit for hours and hours watching Edward and Jacob. I’m hopeing with all my heart that Stephanie Meyers continues the saga with another book. Maybe even two more books or more. We have to see what happens between Renesme and Jacob when she grows up, don’t we!!! And I’m sure that the Volturi will be back to hassle the Cullens some more. There’s just so much more to tell. Please Stephanie, WRITE, WRITE, WRITE!!!!

Anonymous says:

Yes, two movies would be great. One movie won’t do the book justice.

Ken Swanson says:

Two movies is dumb. The only reason would be for more money!

Gabriel says:

While it is most likely to take advantage of moviegoers who will pay the price for both parts, two movies makes sense in order to tell the whole story and not have to leave out many of the details which make the storyline complete.

puppylove08 says:

Yes it is a great idea!! The book is too long and has too many details to make only one movie! Too much would be cut out.

Lala says:

Definitely agree to have two movies produced from Breaking Dawn. Having only one movie would bring the Twilight excitement closer to an end and that would be sad. By having two movies the excitement is extended and more of the book can be included. Two movies would definitely be awesome!! Can’t wait!

JOANN says:

I think its a good Idea to make the Break of Dawn into 2 movies..First because the book has so much they can only cover half of it in the first movie and im pretty sure us twilight fans dont mind seeing it broken down into 2 movies since this is the last of the series..

Matthew says:

From what I have seen in both books. It first would take to much time to make in it all in one movie. Secound the people making the movie would like to make more money and doing it in two movie will make them more money. Third you can later make a DVD or Blurrayer DVD of all the books as one movie.

Manigirl says:

I personally wouldnt mind sitting through a LONGER movie…but if that isn’t possible, then yes two movies should be made. To much happens in the 4th book that shouldnt be left out. It kind of bites that we’ll have to wait so long to watch the next part of it…but it will make for a better story telling if all the right information is there and not skipped over like in the other movies.

Manigirl says:

by the way….yes the rating should be R at least for the ending part of it…if it’s not, then that means they didnt get enough detail into the best part!

Linda says:

I think splitting the book into two movies is a way to make more money. Movies are so expensive these days and this way they will be able to make twice as much!

Ben Valverde says:

I Think it is an Awesome Idea, My Daughter is a Huge Twilight Fan, We enjoy going to see the episode’s together and gives us a chance to spend time toegher as father and daughter so Two more Movies Equals Two more Father and daughter Movie Dates.

Tina says:

Yes, two movies should be made for Breaking Dawn. There is no way a 2 hour movie can capture all that happens in the book. There is nothing worse than watching a movie after reading the book and being left disappointed about all the great details that were left out. Why wouldn’t they make two? More money for them (movie makers) and more Twilight for the fans. It would be a win-win for all.

Vicki says:

I just wanted to say that I agree with Manigirl on the R rating. Even if they have to make two versions. A PG13 and an R for us older gals and guys who would really appreciate it.

Harold says:

The plan to make two movies out of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” is wonderful. My wife and daughter have become such huge fans and the movie Twilight and Twilight New Moon was such a wonderful bonding experience for them, believe me, I know, I heard all about it for months. From a business point of view – this was an excellent move for the makers of the movie as it will bring in huge revenues from the many die hard fans that the Twilight saga has created and it will renew their passion for the story. I may get to hear all about the new movie for another few months and have to shell out plenty of money on merchandise, but it will be worth it to watch my wife and daughter continue to bond the way they had in the past from the passion they both shared for the movie (and shirtless guys).

Love Jacob says:

Making it into 2 movies is great, they will be able to keep more of the book in the movies. Though I think they could have done a 3 hour movie and would have got most of it in that way too. Most of us would happily sit for 3 hours. It’s just a bummer we will have to wait for 2 instead of 1.

Janice says:

I think it is a good idea to break up the book into two movies but they need to come out fairly close together and not make us wait 12 or 18 months in between films. There is too much to this story to do it all in one!

Amanda says:

I think its a great idea to make Breaking Dawn into two movies! Two movies would definitely do the book justice! Stephney Meyers wrote a great story and with the length two movies would provide it will not only give the fans more of their favorite movies/books but it can provide more of what is in the book onto the screen! It will provide a great conclusion for the series. With all the action and romance packed into two movies is a fans dream! Me and my daughter cant wait to see Eclipse and knowing we have two more movies to the Twilight series is very exciting! It will be sad to see this great story end but what a better ending than two movies instead of one!

Paige Simons says:

Two movies of Breaking Dawn has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that people will make more money selling tickets and dvds of and for this movie and it would be longer and have more Jacob and werewolve scenes, but the disadvantages are that it will cost more to buy the movie(s) and if you do get the movie(s) home you would have to keep track of each part of the two dvds or else you don’t get to watch it thoroughly and all together. Although two dvds of Breaking Dawn has disadvantages, I still think it is a good idea, despite the disadvantages, just because it will mean twice as much Jacob and werewolve scenes(hopefully).

Betsy Sandoval says:

I’d love to win these tickets for my granddaughters to go see this. They of course are still in high school and big fans. Thanks for the opportunity.

Jorge Torres says:

Of course they will make two movies. More than Likely they will make it three. It will have to be a trilogy for money making purposes. Although if they can not maintain same character cast, one movie will be good enough. The movie series will not make it or be the same without the original actors.

Jim Ferguson says:

I think it needs to be two movies. To get it right would make one movie way to long. Who cares if you have two pay for two movies instead of one. It’s worth it.

Judith Palmer says:

I think it will good for everyone if done right. They can get more of the book content in and it would make more money for the author, actors and everyone else involved with the movie and then arrct the people they spend the extra money with, so would help the economy all around.

Vanessa says:

I think that making two movies is a great idea, after seeing the first half of Breaking Dawn everyone will be anxious to see the other half. It will keep us in suspense until the next time.

Stephanie says:

Two movies instead of one, I think that this is probably for the best interest of all Twilight lovers! You can add so many more details in two movies than one. I cant wait for this movie, let alone two more, ohh the torture!!! UUUGGGHH!

Clea Anderson says:

I personally think that the book should not be split into 2 movies. They should stay true to the story, and do it with just one movie. My son and daughter are big fans of the series, and I saw “Twilight” and loved it.

Gregory Toth says:

Making two films of the last book is a good idea since it will allow the films to reflect the complexity and richness of the source material. It will make for a more satisfying conclusion of this modern day epic.

Gail says:

Twice as much, why not? I have just recently watched the other two movies and found myself glued to the couch, unable to do anything else, but stare at screen. Great movies!

Victoria says:

I think it’s a great idea, when you compare a movie to a book, there’s always something that is completly skipped over. 2 movies should cover it.

Marta Catano says:

My stepsons r great fans and I would luv 2 take them.

Pam Loznao says:

I absolutely think it’s a very good idea with my busy work load; I rarely have time to read the books. I have always loved the whole vampire, werewolf saga. This movie gives a touch of love, romance, and rivalry just like the old classics, but with a touch of modern times. I look forward to the movie.

Diondra says:

I believe that this is a good move because this specific chapter (Breaking Dawn) forays into deep explanations of the characters. Not only is the book longer than the rest, but it explains in detail features of the main characters that were unknown before. It would have been unfair to cut these details out for the sake of making a 2 hour movie. Splitting this book into two movies will allow us to really understand and see what was written, therefore making this a good move.

Jade says:

Yes, I think its a good idea to split the movie into parts. As long as they aren’t released too far from eachother. The book has too many details in it to smash into an hour and a half time frame. Plus it gives us Twilight fiends one more thing to look forward to. =) Can’t wait for Eclipse!!

Wayne Sakamoto says:

Just like the last chapter in the Harry Potter Series, in order to tell the story and not leave out too much, making two movies to close out the saga makes more sense for the viewers. As far as the studio is concerned, it is an obvious ploy to increase the profitability of the franchise. This is a smart move because, obviously again, the popularity of the series indicates that any endeavor to maximize revenues would require making the franchise last as long as possible.

Kelly says:

I think it’s a good idea to make the last book into two movies because it is the longest book in the series. Also due to the fact that making it two movies can add more details to the storyline!

Al says:

Bring it on … and the author better start coming up with some new stories, because I know some ladies who can’t get enough..

Jenni Howells says:

Edward? Jacob? Edward? Jacob?
I need even more than 2 to make a choice..

CLS says:

No, I think one movie would be better so that the plot is not weakened.

rachel rosales says:

I totally agree with the studios decision to split Breaking Dawn into 2 films, even if it is the most ANTICLIMATIC ending of all time. I joke but even us cynics can get caught up in the saga!

Carrie says:

Go for it. They took the last HP book and turned it in to two movies because there was simply too much to put within a two hour movie and still tell the entire story line.

Debjwt40 says:

I they don’t make two movies out of Breaking Dawn, they’ll have to cut so much of the “beauty” from the story. It will require jumping from one fact to another and these books were so popular because the characters were rich and deep AND the author gave us such a vivid picture of the surrounding. If they try to condense it into one movie, I’m afraid they will lose that richness.

Nicole Putnam says:

They should definately make 2 movies out of “Breaking Dawn”. Their are too many locations & multiple groups of people to make it correctly with only one! I’ve thought about this for a long time–2 is the way to go!!!!!!!!!!

monica says:

Hell no, the last thing the world needs is an extra Twilight movie! Actually, I have no idea if it should be two movies. I know nothing about the Twilight books, but my daughter is obsessed with them.

Marsha Conant says:

The kids would like more movies! The books have been great because they keep them reading!

Kristin says:

I know this is completely off topic but I just had to say YAY for another Kristin with their name spelled the RIGHT way! ;)

Cristy says:

I think that it is a good idea to split the book because I enjoy waiting to see what is coming next…so it would be nice to have more movies. One thing though is that by breaking it into two parts they will add more to the story making the movie a lot different from the books. Many probably wont appreciate it but I think It will be interesting to see what they will come up with.

Mong Zong Lee says:

Yes, I personally think that making Twilight: Breaking Dawn into two parts is a great idea. Because each part from Twilight to New Moon has had great reviews, great story, and best of all; great cliff-hanging endings where it leaves the audience wanting more, making them wait so long for the next Twilight series to come out. Although this might make production longer and somewhat harder and more time consuming. I believe the results will be great and worth it.

Judy says:

Definitely 2 movies, prolongs the fun. We get to enjoy it twice, and each movie will be better because it can include more details than trying to cram the whole thing into one movie. One movie would have to leave out a lot.

Jamie says:

Based on fan interest alone it is probably a good idea. It’s more about $$$ than getting all the book’s story onto the screen. Hopefully the fans also win in getting two GOOD movies to watch.

Noelle says:

I think it is a great idea. marketing scheme or not. the fans will pay to see the movie regarless. this is a great idea to keep the continuity of the stories and leave the fans satisfied. all movies run the risk of leaving out so many details that their respective books may have, and with this idea – how can it be wrong? it’s a great way for melissa rosenberg to hold up the integrity of the story, especially since the majority of fans have read the books.

Stacey says:

I think it’s a great idea to have two movies. First because I think I’m going to be sad when the series is over so this will prolong it and second because the movies always leave out too many details from the book. This way they can add more to each movie.

teresa m. says:

i think it should definately be made into two movies becasue alot of stuff would be left out if they crammed it all into one movie.

Regina says:

i am a huge twilight series fan and i have read breaking dawn almost four times now.

i think it is a great idea to split breaking dawn up into two movies because in the book there is so much happening and i think it would be impossible to fit it into one movie. You wouldnt get a chance to actually wrap your head around everything that is happening in movie. This way if the movie is split into two you are actually able to understand everything that is happening.

Me personally i think they should start the second movie when bella is turned into a vampire. That way it shows her life after death and it is split evenly.

thank you!
-Regina(:

amber says:

ithink that it would cut out so much of the storyline if they tried to make it all one movie. I hope to win for my little sis back home in fresno. I just moved to florida and we are both huge twilight fans. We were supposed to see it together :(

Ani says:

Breaking Dawn should be made into 2 movies for the very reason of showing Bella’s transition from the lowest player in the feild to the strongest, which is what the cover of the book portrays. If it is made into 2, then the director will be able to show all the important things, such as: the wedding, honeymoon, Jacob’s point of view and time spent with Bella during her pregnancy, Renesmee being born, Bella’s turning into a vamp, Charlie’s meeting with the Cullen’s and Bella when he learns the truth, Irina ratting on the Cullens, Alice leaving with Jasper to send other vamps to vouch for the Cullens that Renesmee is harmless, the Volturi/Cullen+ confrontation, and lastly, Bella showing her ability to sheild things mentally.

There’s absolutely too many important things in the last book of the series. Instead of skimping and cutting out a few good parts, they can make this suspenseful and end the first movie of 2 when Bella wakes up to be a vamp, or something similar.

Joanne says:

It is a great idea to split breaking dawn into two movies because this way people are able to understand more of everything that has happened. If you think about the book has so much detail that there is no way you could fit into one movie. There are three parts to the book and each and every part are extremely important to building up to the ending. this is why i think it is a good idea to make two movies out of breaking dawn.

matt says:

splitting breaking dawn up into two movies is a great idea because it is a huge book that has so much going on; so much fighting and so much detail happening between jacob, bella and edward. There are huge scenes that happen in this movie where it would take hours in the movie to actually show the movie in one.

so having the movie split into two is a great idea.

Jen says:

Yes, two movies will be a smart move for the producers of the movie and will allow Edward lovers an extra film to swoon over!

Alyssa says:

I think that it would be a great idea to make Breaking Dawn into two movies because 1)The book is over 700 pages and to convert it into a movie they would have to leave out too many important events. 2)Even if they left all the important events the movie would be so long that people would get bored watching it. 3)Making it into two movies might cost more, but the profit from doing so would make so much more money and would build the franchise even larger than it already is.

Amy says:

Two movies for Breaking Dawn is definately the right decision. The book itself is almost 800 pages so I am not sure how Melissa could fit all of it into one movie. Plus, Breaking Dawn was split into 3 books – Bella, Jacob, & Bella so it seems that Stephanie wanted their to be a definate break in the stories so that could be accomplished through two movies.

Lisa EB says:

Making 2 movies out of Breaking Dawn is a good move. Since the book had parts told from Bella’s point of view & from Jacob’s point of view, maybe the two movies could do that. Oh yeah, I enjoy going to see these movies with my friends also, so if they do two, I’ll be there!

estefania says:

win

Mary says:

Four books, almost 1800 pages read over 4 days (roughly 27 hours….I had to sleep some time!). Four movies, probably 8-9 hours total — bring ‘em on!!!

melissa says:

Any True Twlight Fan knows that you couldnt do the book justice or even begin to satisfy our craving for breaking dawn in one movie. It is a must that the book be split into two movies. Every little detail has to go into the last movie or it would be simply horrible. So I must say that the last movie must be two. It just wouldnt be right other wise…….

Minnie says:

i would very much love to win

Pris says:

Yeah, I think it prolongs the inevitable which in this situation is good. I’m sure there are a lot of people that don’t want the series to end so turning it into two makes it last a little longer, same thing they did with Harry Potter. It just gives people a bit more to look forward too. Awesome.

Christina F. says:

I believe that the movie should not be broken up into two movies. I am an absolute fan of the book series but am kind of disappointed in the movies series. The first movie was a disaster and we can thank NAME for that! However, the second film, New Moon, was a much more to the book. That was a bit disappointing becuase as any Twilight fan knows, New Moon was the most depressing book no matter what “team” you’re on.
Anyways, I would have rather had the director of Breaking Dawn make just one film. Just my opinion. I really want these tickets =)

Peggy Davis says:

Making two movies is a great idea. We all know what happens when a movie drops out too much information from the book that is critical to the story line. Two better movies and double the profitability. It is a win/win situation for all. Especially because these movies will be watched over and over and over and over and…….

Steve says:

yes it’s a greay idea – The entire story can be told without cutting anything out

jacklin says:

I would love to see the movie early I am super stoked and EDWARD CULLEN is so beautiful!!! I remember the first time I saw Twilight and heard him say ” I could always make You”

RomeAnna says:

I believe the exquisite beauty of the landscape and the character development requires 2 movies. I would rather have too much than not enough.

Tenci Brown says:

I don’t mind that Breaking Dawn is going to be split into 2 movies. I would rather the director take the time to tell the story correctly and not try to rush the whole story into 2 1/2 hours when it could be told much better with more time.

Ashley Brown says:

I would rather their be 2 movies to tell the Breaking Dawn story so that many of the important details won’t be left out. Fans of the book, like me, want to see the story told the right way.

sporty15 says:

That means more details and action, my kind of movie it…i’ll be looking forward to them…

Minerva says:

I absolutely agree with the plan. The movies are coming out so quickly that it would not leave the public hanging at the end of the first movie. Besides, “Breaking Dawn” was such a good book and long that it will work.

maxine luna says:

I would much rather have there be two movies, this way the movies would be more in depth and much similar to the books.

J. Richardson says:

I think it should be one movie to see it all at once instead of being left in suspense each time until the next movie comes out. No matter if I know what will happen or not, I want to see it all played out-not wait :)

Van says:

I totally agree with the idea of two movies for Breaking Dawn. Anything is possible. I am still in awe of the concept of how a scary vampire story could be turned into a romantic novel and movie. Epic!

Bella says:

I love the idea to make two movies out of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn”. I did not read the book but love the movies. If they can split all the books into two movies that would be fine too.

Elizabeth Vecchio says:

I think that It should be one movie just like the book, alot happens in the last book but the story of Bella and Edward has already been told and we can expect a happily ever.

Belle says:

Love the idea! The more the merrier. I loved the books and the movies. I love the scenery and the special effects in both of the previous movies. Its amazing how they can capture Stephanie’s details.

cmagnee says:

Absolutely, I think two volumes of Breaking Dawn is a good idea. Too much would need to be compromised to fit the entire novel into a two hour film. This keeps the fans happy, creates more revenue for the franchise, and maintains the integrity of Stephenie Meyer’s original creation.

Francine says:

I don’t think it is a good idea because the fans been waiting for the last movie. So if they make it into 2 parts everyone is going to be disappointed that they have to wait AGAIN for the 2nd part of Breaking Dawn. I would want to see the ending. Not wait for the other half.

Jose Elias says:

I believe the producers are making a great decision on making them into 2 films. This is a way that they don’t leave out much of what they have made. If they see that there is too much of their art that is not going to make the film, then “hey why not make another”!

Rachel says:

Two films for BD is the way to go. There is so much story left to tell and two movies will make it possible to include all the important points in the story. Plus, fans get to look forward to two more movies :)

pudgey1 says:

Yes there should be two more not only to get whole story in but all us women can agree more movies with all that sexiness is more than welcome. ;-)

E Morales says:

Yeah, Breaking Dawn should be made into two movies, because my wife read the book and told me what happens in this story and that Bella transforms into a vampire and even has a baby that is half human and half vampire. It sounds interesting, too much to fit into a two hour movie.

Rach says:

Two films for BD is the way to go. There is so much story left to be told and two films will ensure that all of the important details are in the story. Plus, fans like myself will get to look forward to TWO movies! :)

Lisa Lee says:

I hate TO BE CONTINUED, especially when it can be all in one single movie. Sure, the producers will make lots of dough off of it, but whatever happened to CUSTOMERS ARE NUMBER 1????

It should definitely stick to being one, even if it’s elongated like LOTR.

Jackie says:

I think it would be a wonderful to make Breaking Dawn into two movies because that way they could include all of the details that are in the book, therefore pleasing the fans and making more money.

Andrea Domingo says:

I think it’s a great idea to split Breaking Dawn into two movies. This is by far the longest novel and I do not believe that one movie would do Meyer’s story justice. There is Bella and Edward’s engagement and marriage, and then there is her pregnancy, transformation and the battle between the Volturi. Also, as someone who has read all of the books…and love them; it gives all readers something to look forward to and keep the Twilight Saga just that…a saga.

Annabelle says:

Hey hope I win. Fans love the series that’s why!

Tamara says:

The producers would be stupid not to make it into two movies. For one it would make twice as much money and make the franchise even bigger. Also because if they tried to cram all of the 700 page book into on movie they would have to leave out a lot, therefore making the fans mad and losing money and ratings.

Anna says:

Yes I agree the stories have enough for more than one movie and it would be awesome for all us fans to enjoy more movies

JENNY RUIZ says:

LOVED THE BOOKS.Think combining movies good idea instead of always wanting more at the end of each movie.

Alexis Mcdaniels says:

Well I Think Yes Because Breaking Dawn Can’t Really Tell It All So there Should Be Breaking Dawn 1 And Breaking Dawn 2.It Would Very Much Keep People Intersied And Not Just Put It All Out There In One Movie ; People Will Go Crazy To See The Next Part , And The Teens Will Want To See Them Too Esacially! People Can Read The Books But They Don’t Know How Their Gonna Put It In The Movie. All These Books Are Very Good But It Would Even Be Better If They Made More After Breaking Dawn. Through All The Love Storys I Have Read And Watched ; This Is The Best! It’s Wonderful How They Do It!(:

Please choose me!!! says:

Yes, I want two movies, three movies, four movies. You get the picture. :-)

Ron Alvey says:

Having read the books twice. I think it’s a great idea. There is too much stuff that would be missed if it was only one movie. Just think how much of the details would be lost just in their honeymoon and then the birth of Renesmee. And then the confrontation with the Volteri.

On a different note, non-readers might not enjoy two movies. I just don’t know.

SANDY HERNANDEZ says:

I think its a good idea. Hopefully this means that more of the book will actually get to make it to the big screen.

Hailey Haux says:

I absolutely think it is an excellent idea to make two movies out of the fourth book instead of just one. My main reason is because the book is huge and nothing is worse than watching a book you totally love on the big screen just to discover that some key points are missing due to time constraints. If they tried to make the movie longer it would just be really tough to sit through. There are too many positive things that can come out of making two movies out of “Twilight: Breaking Dawn”, and I can’t even begin to list them all.

Heather Haux says:

I believe if the “Twilight: Breaking Dawn” book is made into one movie it would end up like a movie based on a Nicholas Sparks book. They take the main theme of the book but lose the plot that the readers fell in love with.

Kay says:

It is a great idea to make two movies. Reason 1: More information would go into the movies, Reason 2: More money for everyone involved in making the movie, and Reason 3: It would be awesome!

Courtney says:

With such large and detailed books like Twilight and Harry Potter condensing the movies results in the loss of vital details that seem to get looked over in a condensed time period, such as: the history of the Marauders Map. People who merely watch the movies miss how much the map is extensively involved in Harry’s past. For instance in the Twilight movies the people who only watch the movies never find out Alice’s story because limited time did not allow for it.

Dee says:

I think it’s an AWESOME idea. As someone said before there is soooo much going on in BREAKING DAWN that 2hrs wouldn’t be enough time to cover the whole book. Plus it’s offers more time to see Jacob with his shirt off…lol

Divya Pathania says:

this movie and books a absolutley amazing….they are evry beautiful and theie acting is fantastic…i love them so much….i love each of them…..speacially bella and edward,….and jacob is very fit too….i love all of them…..<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3:):):)
