New ‘Dancing with the Stars’ cast named

Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews appeared on “Good Morning America” to announce the lineup for the next round of competition on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars. ” Among the 13 celebrities are the usual batch of actors, athletes and celebrities you thought were dead.

The first performances will be Sept. 15. That’s also when two-time “Mirrorball” champion Julianne Hough joins Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba at the judges’ desk.

Here’s this year’s contestants and my early odds on how they will do:

Janel Parrish: Broadway actress who plays Mona on the ABC Family TV series, “Pretty Little Liars.” Her partner is Valentin Chmerkovskiy. (3-1)

Antonio Sabato Jr.: Best known as an actor and Calvin Klein underwear model. He’ll dance with Cheryl Burke. (5-1)

Alfonso Ribeiro: The TV actor, game show and Broadway actor will show why he was once known as “The Tap Dance Kid.” He’s partnered with Witney Carson. (6-1)

Lolo Jones: The track athlete is one of the greatest American hurdlers of all time. Her partner is new pro Keo Motsepe. (7-1)

Bethany Mota: The youtube.com sensation, fashion designer and beauty expert is one of the most recognizable names on social media. She will be dancing with Derek Hough. (8-1)

Jonathan Bennett: The actor has appeared in “Mean Girls” and “The Dukes of Hazard” prequel. He’s teamed with new dance pro Allison Holker. (10-1)

Sadie Robertson: The 17 year old is one of the stars of “Duck Dynasty.” Mark Ballas is her partner. (12-1)

Randy Couture: Six-time World Champion and Hall of Famer in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He’ll be dancing with Karina Smirnoff. (15-1)

Lea Thompson: Actress best known for the “Back to the Future” films. Her partner is Artem Chigvintsev. (18-1)

Michael Waltrip: The professional race car driver is the founder and co-owner of Michael Waltrip Racing. He partners with Emma Slater. (20-1)

Tavis Smiley: He’s the host of the late-night television talk show “Tavis Smiley” and co-author of 16 books. Sharna Burgess is his partner. (25-1)

Tommy Chong: The comedian has starred in films and the TV show “That ‘70s Show.” Teamed with Peta Murgatroyd. (35-1)

Betsey Johnson: She’s been a fashion industry icon since the 1960’s. Teamed with Tony Dovolani. (50-1)
