photo

The randomly selected winner of the signed poster is FresnoDan. The winners of the “Draft Day” ticket and goodies are: Judith, Chris G, Marc, Sherry, Kenneth, Rachel. J., Michelle, Judi, Mike. Wil, Sheryl, HW, Chad, Brandon, Ron, Nancy, Matt, D.G, Ley, Wilson, Wes, Yolanda and Tim.

ORIGINAL POST: This has to be considered a touchdown in terms of giveaways through the Fresno Beehive. I’ve been able to get a mini-poster from the movie “Draft Day” that has been autographed by Kevin Costner and other actors from the movie. To be in the running to win the poster, all you have to do is leave a comment below telling me if you were starting an acting team, would you draft Kevin Costner, Jennifer Garner, Frank Langella or Tom Welling with your first pick.

The winner of the poster will be determined by a random drawing of all of those who leave comments by 5 p.m. April 24. The winner will be notified April 25.

Even if you don’t win the poster, there’s still a chance to take home a prize. The Bee also has rounded up 25 tickets good for two people to go see a screening of “Draft Day” at any Regal movie theater. The tickets are good for Monday-Thursday only. You could use the ticket as soon as you get it or you could wait. As long as the film is playing at a Regal theater, it will be good.

But wait, there’s more. Along with the ticket, there are some “Draft Day” goodies — towels, mugs, etc — that you will get with the ticket.

To make sure you have as much time possible to use the ticket, you have until 5 p.m. April 24 to post a comment. The 25 winners of the tickets and goodies will be randomly selected — just like the poster winner — from all of the comments and the winners will be notified on April 25. Keep in mind that if you win, you will have to pick up your goodies at the Fresno Bee. They won’t be mailed.

Good luck. Contest rules are below.

Tim says:

Being a huge NFL fan, I enjoyed the movie, but only give 3 out of 5 stars. Obviously, Jennifer Garner would be my first pick.

Yolanda says:

I really enjoyed the movie….my first pick would be a toss up between Kevin Costner(he’s just one of those actors that always comes through) and Jennifer Garner (she seems like she could play any part, and would be super awesome off screen).

Wes says:

I would definitely draft Kevin Costner because he has a lot of acting experience and won on Oscar!

Tess says:

I would draft Tom Welling cause he’s Superman lol!!

Wilson says:

Going to draft first in my acting team is Jennifer Garner!

Ley says:

Frank Langella would be my 1st choice to draft in my acting team, that acting voice is so good.

D.G says:

Kevin Costner indeed will be my 1st round pick!!!

Gina Sandoval says:

I’d pick Jennifer Garner also, my husband is a die hard Browns fan so he loved the movie and would probably would love to see it again!

PTolentino says:

I think the original acting team had good chemistry with each other…the only one I would change is Jennifer Garner…she was not convincing enough to play the love interest of Kevin Costner.

Matt says:

The obvious choice is Kevin Costner, of course.

Nancy l says:

I would draft Kevin Costner, he is amazing actor and oscar winner.

FresnoDan says:

I would draft Frank Langella > an actor with tremendous “chops”

Ron says:

My first pick would have to be Jennifer Garner.

Brandon Sandoval says:

Kevin Costner!

Chad says:

Looking forward to seeing this movie. I’d take Kevin no doubt. Take the big guns up front.

HW Ingram says:

Jennifer Garner & Kevin Costner, in that order (ladies before gentlemen). They both are experts in their craft! They also are both beautiful people on the big screen!

Sheryl Holder says:

I am not a huge football fan like some, but I’ve always loved those “up close and personal” stories. That’s what this movie was like! AND, I learned about the way the NFL Draft works! I would definitely choose Kevin Costner–for his leading man looks and “nice guy” persona. Jennifer Garner is a favorite of mine from her TV days in Alias. So I’d book ‘em both!

Wil says:

First choice in my acting team draft is definitely Jennifer Garner.

Marie says:

Kevin Costner is such a wonderful talented actor, he will be my first choice to draft in my acting team.

Mike Micheli says:

Costner; fan since Bull Durham. Good movie, really stressed how salary cap has taken hold of professional sports!

judi fischer says:

I AM THE BIGGEST KEVIN COSTNER FAN EVER. I EVEN WENT TO RENO TO WATCH HIS BAND MODERN WEST IN CONCERT. I WOULD LOVE TO OWN THIS POSTER. PLEASE.

Michelle Rae Parks says:

I would draft Kevin Costner!!! =)

J. Madsen says:

I would pick Kevin Costner first.

Rachel says:

Jennifer Garner, of course

Kenneth Charron-Garbutt says:

I would definitely have to without a doubt cast Tom Welling, the depth of his range and the ease with which he portrays a character is not seen often enough.

Sherry Bird says:

I would draft Jennifer Gardner….Loved the movie…Can’t wait for the real draft…Go Packers!

marc gooboian says:

if i were to start an acting team i would go with Kevin Costner. You need a veteran quarterback to get the team going.

Chris G says:

I’d pick Jennifer Garner. She has such a wide range of acting abilities. She can pull off an action star (Alias) or comedy (13 going on 30). She’s also easy on the eyes. :)

Judith Palmer says:

I may be too late but I had trouble getting into my email so did not see until now. I definitely would draft Costner, love 95% of what he has done. He is a great actor. Would be good to see him in a new movie. Have a great weekend.

Ron says:

Hi Rick:

Saw the movie today and loved it!!

Just wanted to Thank You!!

Ron
