I’ve actually only come across one I think has the wow factor — you know the kind of sandwich you dream about. It’s the Dusty Buns Bistro‘s “Le Grilled Cheese” — made with aged white cheddar and smoked bacon — topping my list. I’m not the only one in LOVE with this gooey sandwich, there are raves and more raves out there.
I’ve also tried Pinot Wine Bar and Bistro’s “Grilled Cheese Royale,” which is made with aged white cheddar, fontina, fresh mozzarella and caramelized onions. It too is pretty delicious.
I haven’t tried these, but I’ve heard the The Big Swirl frozen yogurt shop at Cedar and Shaw avenues features The Big Cheese, a place that sells a variety of grilled cheese sandwiches. And the Five Guys in River Park cooks up some oozing sandwiches, as shown in this KSEE video.
What about you? What grilled cheeses in the Valley make your taste buds do the happy dance?
