Admit it. You’ve got Tebow mania

I admit it. I have Tim Tebow mania. It really makes no sense. After all, I’m a Chargers fan, and I should want to see the Broncos, a rival, fail. But there’s just something about him (and it’s not just his body). It’s his story (or at least the brand he’s creating) — the guy who everyone says isn’t good enough but wins anyway. I’m a sucker for an underdog story.

I think one of the reasons I can’t get enough Tebow talk is the many points of view. And the humor he’s inspired is too funny to ignore. For example, Jimmy Fallon gives us this diddy.

There’s a lot about Tebow I don’t relate to, so I don’t want to root for him. But I have to admit, I can’t help myself. I don’t think I’m alone, discussion of Tebow smashed Twitter records on Sunday and he was just named the most popular athlete.

I can’t wait to see what happens this weekend.

American football is sooooo boring. The highlights are okay, but sitting through an entire game? No way.
