Do I have to choose?!?!?! I would love to see all of the characters come back, to see them all interact with each other! They’re all so wonderful actors!

B says:

Since I love the books so much, I am really looking forward to seeing how they end up portraying the end with Harry, Hermione, and Ron in this last 2 part movie. I”m really excited to see the trio of friends finish this in movie form instead of just my imagination from reading the book! :)

Can’t wait to see Hermione – she’s the BEST!

Snape. He’s the best double agent. Eva’.

Rosalinda Scadden says:

The character I’m most excited to see is Luna Lovegood. Favorite character.

I can’t wait to see Xenophilius Lovegood! Luna’s great, but her father is supposed to be twice as batty, so that would be a sight. :)

Oh, and I want to see the Malfoys too, because this is the film in which they learn their lesson and realize that being Death Eaters isn’t really that great.

Melinda says:

Draco Malfoy!!!! So excited to see him

Dana Bell says:

I CAN’T WAIT!!!!!! Dana Bell (9 yrs. old.)
I’m really excited about seeing Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood, mostly because they have almost never gotten a really big part in any of the movies so far. From my point of view, in the seventh Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Neville and Luna get a much bigger part from the characters going to Luna’s house to the big fight scene with Neville and the Death Eaters. My favorite part in that book is when they are at Luna’s house and that dangerous plant that her father has explodes. Plus, this movie really shows Neville’s and Luna’s attitude, Luna being curious, weird, and likeable, and Neville being shy yet fierce. I think it’s really cool when in the end of the seventh book, you find out that Neville became a Herbology professor (Epilogue.). I also really like it when Luna is fighting Bellatrix Lestrange in the battle for Hogwarts at the end of the book (pg 735.). I would love being able to go to the movie early, having read all the books already. I literally typed this up as soon as I found out I could. Please pick me to be a winner; I would love it if I was picked.

H. Guerra says:

Without a doubt looking most foward to seeing Snape in the next film. He has always been a mysterious character with a questionable past. Interested in knowing if Snape showed his true colors in the last film or if he still has some tricks up his sleeves.

Jim Irwin says:

The last three movies have been a bit loose in following the book by omitting several characters that, to me, seemed to add to the story-line. One in particular was Dobby. He has come to Harry, Hermoine and Ron’s aid on a number of occasions in most of the books. I am interested in seeing him in his most important role of all as he saves six from Malfoy Manner. I believe that will be in part 2 but his confrontation with Kreacher and Mundungus Fletcher should (if not cut out) be in the first part. That is, after all, how the real locket is found. I am also looking forward to the seven Harrys and the wedding scene.

Eli D says:

Hagrid da man!

Bert M says:

All the characters! Can’t wait to see how the final chapter translates on the screen!

L. Louie says:

I would like to see how the three main characters grow up on screen. We gave seen them as young teenagers in the beginning, now they are growing up and facing new dangers and adventures.

I can hardly wait to see this next installment in the Harry Potter series! The character I am most looking foreward to seeing in the movie is probably Hermione. Especially the scene where she will erase her parents memories and also the scene where she and Harry are dancing. I also want to see the scene with Dobby. Can’t wait to see this movie and the second part. So excited!! I have been anticipating this and freaking out for months! Please pick me!! :) Super Harry Potter Nerd! :)

JC says:

Definitely Snape, Voldemort, and Harry. Want to see if Snape stays in role or lets out his true colors. Voldemort should be seen more and want to see him in battle. Have course Harry because Daniel Radcliffe does a great job portraying him, always shows he cares about his friends and wants to take on Voldemort on his own, but realizes he needs his friends in the end.

Kyle Freeman says:

I want to see Harry defeat his nemesis.

Kaitlen Mills says:

All of the characters, but mostly Snape to see how his character plays out on the big screen. I can’t wait to see this movie!

Ramon says:

Hermione cuz she’s a goddess

nfernandez09 says:

I am most excited to see Xenophilius Lovegood, his character is so eccentric and I want to see how he plays out. I’m also excited to see Harry, Ron and Hermione of course. They are all amazing!

Plus, I saw a pic of Ron and Hermione holding Dobby on Fanpop. All the people commented on Ron’s beard and not poor Dobby. I was ashamed so I’m looking forward to that.

Also, I possibly know future famous people. My friend got a callback for a modeling agency and my other friend will be on Disney in a few days. So, hint hint.

These 3 characters have a heavy influence on this last book as well as Harry; especially if it is assumed the one brother that conquered death is a distant relative of Harry’s and that in return the Inviability Cloak worn by Harry was once deaths very own death garb. Michelle says:

I can’t wait to see actors portraying the trio when they infiltrate the Ministry and use Polyjuice Potion to take the bodies of three ministry employees. Ralph says:

I want to see Snape! He’s the best character.

Kait says:

Xenophilius Lovegood, hands down. What kind of nutjob edits for “The Quibbler” and then wants to turn in Harry Potter? He should be brilliantly played – Rhys Ifans was fantastic in “The Replacements” and only he can do the character justice :)

To me, each character is important and I couldn’t just single one character out that I like the best, or for any particular reason. This cast all works so well together, if one person is taken out, I don’t think the movie would be as good, though it is still very sad that we are already missing Dumbledore in this one. The last book definitely had some unexpected events in them, and I am curious as to how they are splitting this up into two separate movies. Either way, it will still be very exciting.

I have enjoyed it for years with my friends and can’t wait to see what this next installment is like.

Janet VV says:

I’m really looking forward to Harry, Ron and Hermione out in the world, away from the relative safety of Hogwarts. And I can’t wait to see how they present Bill and Fleur’s wedding.

I’m looking forward to seeing the entire cast of this film. I’ve grown up right along with these characters and I am ecstatic to see the final book on screen.

Sara Magana says:

I can’t wait to see hermione! Since I started reading the Harry Potter series in elementary school I automatically thought she was the best. Being a nerd in school she reminded me being smart was a good thing. The way she always put jerks trying to be mean to her for being smart in their place was always put a smile on my face. lol(:

Wienzer says:

I look forward to actually “seeing” the characters this time in general. The last film’s lighting was so dark and grey everything just seemed to wash into the background. Thank god they dumped the 3-D on this one, it would be even darker than the last.

Looking to see Voldemort.

And SFX. hope they are good :)

Cat says:

I’ve been kind of disappointed with how the story of the Weasley family has kind of been pushed to the back burner, like the drama with Percy, and Charlie’s involvement in the story…I really hope that storyline and those characters come into play more in the final two movies.

I’m looking forward as always to seeing the way the characters develop in the movie – and the relationships within those characters.

Carlos Aleman says:

I know that my three teenagers are looking forward to this movie as the rest of the world. They don’t want to tell me what happens to Harry and the rest of the group. I just know that this series of stories has inspired many children including my own to embrace reading once again. When my daughter Annie read the last book and came out of her room crying it allowed me see her passion for this story line. Because of these three characters I have three teenagers that truely appreciate a good story. It would mean the world to my girls to get some tickets to the sneak peak showing of this movie.

Stuart says:

Severus Snape is a character I want to see. Through the whole series your always wondering which side he is really on!!!

samantha says:

Estee Salgado says:

Draco is tormented….

Pam says:

So many good ones to choose from…

My tops would be:

Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter – for being steadfast and true to the bone.

Alan Rickman as Severus Snape – One of the evils good enough to root for.

Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange – Awesome actress and an evil to be reckoned with hopefully again.

Hope to be chosen to help pack the theatre!

I am so looking forward to seeing Bill after he is attacked by a werewolf and the scene where Percy finally returns to his family and admits how wrong he really was. I am also looking forward to Snape’s scenes, as his true motives and feelings will finally be revealed. Curiously enough, I find Snape’s character much more fascinating than the Voldemort character. Voldemort is a one dimensional character, but with Snape you get the sense there is so much more going on inside of him than he is ever willing to reveal.

PotterFan says:

Hailey says:

I am looking forward to seeing Snape, because he plays a big part in this, and I want to see his memories.

I want to see Hermione Granger! I love her personality and spunk!

Jennifer Ratliff says:

I would really like to see Bill Weasley. We didn’t get to see him in the sixth movie (even though he was suppose to be apart of it), so it would be really great to see how the film makers visualize this character. The characters that i am most looking forward to seeing are Voldemort and Snape. No lie, what kind of movie would this be without the greatest villain ever? I really want to see Snape in this movie because i love how they made him a bad character but in this book is when Harry realizes that Snape actually cared about what happens to him. And Harry even names one of sons after him. I also cant wait for the Mrs. Weasley/Bellatrix LESTRANGE SHOWDOWN. Going to be epic!!!!!!

Carmen Nunez says:

I am most looking forward to seeing Mrs. Weasley in the book because i love her and her whole family. But, i especially love when she and Bellatrix have a showdown because she killed her son. I was so emotional cuz i have kids of my own, but then i immediately felt better when she calls her a b@!&^ and goes in for the kill.

Isabella Salgado says:

I really want to get to see this movie!

doctreva says:

Neville Longbottom rules! He has a similarly tragic background like Harry as he essentially has no active parental figures in his life either. And his character grows into a signficant role in the final book (next 2 movies). He grows from this nebbishly comical figure into a truly heroic figure.

Danielle A says:

Which character am I most excited to see? Hands down, it has got to be Voldemort! It is Voldemort’s time to shine in all his evil glory!

Because he’s awesome!

Brandon says:

Well, of course I can’t wait to see any of them! But if I had to choose, it would be Bathilda Bagshot, her scene with Harry and Hermione at Godric Hollow is sooooo creepy in the book. I want to know how it will look on screen. And I can’t wait to see more of Bellatrix’s nastiness (Man, I hate her, but oddly also like her character).

But most of all, I still am trying to get over the fact that after next year it’s all over. Man, it’s just like when Lord of the Rings ended. I am going to be soo depressed. I have nothing to look forward to. Oh Wait! I forgot…”The Hobbit.”

Brandon says:

I am thinking this is going to make major bucks next weekend! Prolly beat Dark Knight? maybe?

All I know is Deathly Hallows is my fave book and I have been so anxious to see the movie. To me each film has progressively got better and better. Except for the fact, Richard Harris passed away and was no longer Dumbledore after Chamber.

Amber says:

I’m looking forward to seeing all of the actors seeing as they portray their characters very well, but if I had to choose I really can’t wait to see Daniel Radcliff as Harry Potter seeing as he is the main character who the story is centered around. These last two movies will really show how everything comes together and test the limits of Harry’s friendships and his fortitude in his long journey to its end.

Rob Howard says:

I can’t wait to see how they bring the last book to life, including the battle which will probably be in part 2.

Pick me, Pick me, Oooo Ooooo!

Lucy says:

I’m excited to see Lord Voldemort. He’s a great character, great villain. In the other hand, I love em all! Can’t wait to see the movie, I would love to take my god-daughter and have her see it before all her friends do. She’s a crazy Harry potter fan!..She’s the one that got me into it.

Autumn Bell says:

Thank you Kathy, Rick, and the rest of the folks at the Fresno Bee!! Just came from the pre-screening of HP and the Deathly Hallows Part I. It was an edge-of-your-seat blast from beginning to end! Definitely the scariest, funniest, and most action-packed HP movie so far. Thanks so much!!
