Five Things You Should Do This Weekend
Other than going to The Big Fresno Fair one last time this year.
1. SHOW YOUR LOVE FOR COFFEE AND MUSIC
Saturday’s “For the Love of Coffee” event at Fulton 55 is the best $5 you can spend on local music this weekend. Look at that band lineup! It’s a celebration of Cafe Corazon’s coffee goodness too. And we hear there’s going to be a special coffee beer collabo with Corazon and Tioga-Sequoia? Win. [More]
2. BANK ON ACHIEVEMENT HOUSE
Indie rock band Achievement House has its much-anticipated CD release party tonight in what’s become a dynamic new entertainment venue in Fresno these days — the vault in the old Security Bank building. Lots of cool stuff happening there lately. Count this as another. [More]
3. ROLL WITH WHISKY ROW
Popular local country band Whisky Row holds its annual Nash Bash festival in Kerman on Saturday. If you dig country music, go see these guys, as they’re having a good run these days. You might remember they recently put out that Fresno State football anthem. [More]
4. REV & ROCK WITH ATTIKA 7
Metal band Attika 7 is cool for a couple reasons: Its singer Evan Seinfeld used to be Biohazard and its guitarist Rusty Coones is a famous Hell’s Angel who was in “Sons of Anarchy.” They’re at Babylon tonight and having a meet-and-greet at the W. Shaw Harley dealership. [More]
5. GET YER DERBY ON!
The ladies of CCAD’s Rock-N-Rolla have their final bout of the year at Full Circle Brewing Co. on Saturday night. Roller derby, beer, rock music, etc. There’s also going to be zombies. Don’t get your brains eaten, K? [More]
BONUS: Go see Blake Jones, Sparklejet and a band from Argentina rock the sake outta Tokyo Garden tonight.

Thanks for plugging tonight’s Tokyo gig Mr.Oz! We’re hoping to have fun, and also make some new South American friends!
I am going to Nash Bash III. I would miss it. Fun for the entire family.
I meant to say “I wouldn’t miss it” Sorry for the typo.
