WTF: Pea sprouts inside man’s lungs
I saw this story on the news this morning and still can’t stop thinking about it.
It’s just so freaky. I had no idea something like this was even possible. There are other weird cases out there too. Check out this (warning: icky photo) and this.
The pea one has really stuck with me. I hate peas. Ick! It’s an awful food. I’d much rather be an incubator for something tasty like corn. What about you? What food would you like to see sprout?

When my grandfather was a toddler, his sister stuck a bean up his nose. Some time passed and he started getting headaches. My great grandmother took him to the doctor and they discovered the bean. It had started sprouting.
Nasty.
How about these mini Reese’s peanut butter cups? Or Jelly Bellys? Because that’s gotta be a good belly-to-belly connection.
Did anyone else’s parents tell them not to swallow watermelon seeds or they would grow at your ears?
