What would you ask Sally Struthers?

If you’re younger than a certain age, you might respond to the above question with: “Who’s that?”

But if you’re old enough to remember “All in the Family,” you know Struthers as the iconic Gloria, the daughter of Archie and Edith. Struthers is best known for the role, though she’s played in other TV series as well, including as Babette Dell in “The Gilmore Girls.” She’s also famous for her role as TV spokesperson for the Children’s Christian Fund, pleading on behalf of foreign orphans.

Now she’s playing the title role in the national tour of “Hello, Dolly!,” which makes a stop in Fresno on Feb. 18 and 19 at the Saroyan Theatre.

I have a phone interview with Struthers scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. I’d love to ask her some questions that come directly from readers. So here’s your chance: What would you ask Archie’s “little girl”?

Responses to "What would you ask Sally Struthers?"

Ron says:

I would ask about working on “All in The Family” and her favorite memories of Carroll and Jean. And if she realized how groundbreaking it was at the time. That show had the perfect cast and incredible writers.

One of the all time best TV shows.

Roger Christensen says:

In recent years she has done lots of musical theater (Annie, 9 to 5). The show she did that intrigues me is ALWAYS…PATSY CLINE. I think it had a run in LA and is a two character show. What was that like?
