Concert announcement: Tim McGraw’s “Sundown Heaven Town” tour heads to Save Mart Center

Country to CountryAs could be predicted, the Save Mart Center has lined-up another big-name country act for spring.

This time it’s Tim McGraw, who brings his “Sundown Heaven Town” tour to Fresno, May 8 at the Save Mart Center. Singer/songwriter Cassadee Pope will open.

Tickets for the show go on sale Feb. 7 and will range from $39.50-$72.50 and available through ticketmaster at select Save Mart Supermarket or the Save Mart Center box office. 

McGraw has big momentum, just coming off a sold-out tour and with three consecutive No. 1 hits and seven Academy of Country Music Awards nominations (including album of the year). The guys has sold more than 40 million albums, won three Grammy’s, 15 ACM Awards, 14 CMA Awards and 10 AMA’s.

He’s also done some acting: “The Blind Side,” “Country Strong” and “Friday Night Lights.”

After winning season 3 of NBC’s “The Voice,” Cassadee Pope became one of only two women in the past five years to top the Country charts with a debut release. The album was No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and in the top 10 all-genre Top Albums category last year.
