Concert Announcement: Keith Sweat at the Selland Arena

12/27/10 Keith SweatWe’ve seen Keith Sweat a lot in the last few years (we being Fresno, or Fresno R&B fans at least). Sweat, who was given the Soul Train Life Time Achievement Award for 2013, played shows at Save Mart Center in both 2011 and 2012 (with Bobby Brown/MC Hammer and the Isley Brother respectively). In May, he headlined his own show at the Rotary Amphitheater.

And he’ll be back March 1, playing the Selland Arena. Tickets for the show are $40.50, $50.50 and $60.50 and go on sale Friday at the Selland Arena box office or via ticketmaster.

Sweat has charted on Billboard’s 200 Albums of the Year eight times and had six songs chart of the Hot 100. Recently, he began a career in broadcasting with a syndicated radio show that airs 7 p.m.-midnight daily in 21 markets.

I love Keith Sweat. Have been to two of his local concerts and he’s always been the best part (usually saw him as part of multi-singer bill). He’s classy and can see belt out the tunes.
