Fair ticket giveaway: Tesla

ORIGINAL POST: Next up in our Big Fresno Fair ticket giveaway series: two tickets to Tesla, which performs 7 p.m. Friday.

One winner will receive two passes to the fair and two tickets to the concert. You’ll need to come down to The Bee’s office at 1626 E Street to pick up your tickets. (Business hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m.)

To win tickets to Tesla, leave a comment telling us why you’d like to see the group. One comment per person, please. I’ll pick the winner at random. The deadline for entry is 10 a.m. Wednesday. One entry per person. I’ll be informing winners by email Wednesday morning, so please check yours. Rules are on the jump.

Recipients will be notified by e-mail at the end of each giveaway period. No substitutions or transfer of winners/prizes. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Some prizes may have due dates for redemption/use. Employees and immediate family of The Fresno Bee,fresnobee.com and any/all of the participating giveaway sponsors, are not eligible to win. By accepting a giveaway, recipient consents to allow the use of his/her name and/or photograph for advertising or similar promotions without further compensation. I would love to win tickets to see Tesla, I grew up listening to my mom sing along in the car. I would love to take her and sing along with her! This would be a great way for the two of us to spend a fun filled, rock and roll evening together!

I LOVE TESLA,! still listen to them on those summer nights when driving and remembering hanging out with the girls. They are one of my most favorite bands! My sister and I would l just have a blast seeing Tesla live at the fair.

I grew up listening to Tesla with my mom! If I win I will take her and have a fun filled night of some great rock n roll!

Oh what great memories of the old rockin days!! It would be awesome to enjoy the good old time of the rockin 80′s again and especially TESLA at “The Big Fresno Fair’s 130 years of Celebration”! ROCK ON!!!

I saw Tesla for the first time in New Orleans(UNO Lakefront Arena) they opened for Def Leppard. 1985 or 86. They blew Leppard away. I would like to see if they still got it.

Last time I saw Tesla it was 83 at selland arena. MY son is 11 and loves them! He would love to see them live with his Dad, a father son Rock and roll adventure!

I’m an 80′s baby and love this music!! Plus my birthday was on Monday 9/30 and my moms is Monday 10/7 !! I would love to celebrate our birthdays by going to the fair and listening to Tulsa!!!

I saw them in 2011 when they came to Fresno to perform at 105.1 ‘s Blazefest and they were awesome.
I would love to see Tesla because they rock!
I want to hear some of their hits like “Signs” and “Love Song” to name a few!
Having a Cinnamon roll in one hand and listening to Tesla, that would be a dream come true!
