UPDATE: Win tickets to ‘The Price is Right’ Live

UPDATE: Congrats to Lisa Ovalle, who won tickets to tonight’s performance at the Saroyan.

As for the price of a rotary-dial phone, I like this response best:

You are astute, Ray. But, sorry, no Bob Barker as host. Leading Wednesday’s festivities will be Todd Newton of E! News.

And, if you want to go with another approach regarding the price of a rotary-dial phone today: I found one on eBay for $49.95.

ORIGINAL POST: I admit I don’t get this concept at all: paying a top price of $66 (with Ticketmaster fees) to watch a live version of “The Price is Right.” But that’s what’s happening Wednesday at the Saroyan Theatre as part of the Broadway in Fresno series.

I have my hands on two free tickets to the show to give away to a lucky Beehive reader. To enter, leave a comment on this post guessing the manufacturer’s suggested price for the following item:

I’ll pick the winners at random. The deadline for entry is 1 p.m. Tuesday. One entry per person. I’ll be informing winners by email Tuesday afternoon, so please check yours. If you win, you’ll be able to pick your tickets up at Will Call. Rules are on the jump.

Recipients will be notified by e-mail at the end of each giveaway period. No substitutions or transfer of winners/prizes. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Some prizes may have due dates for redemption/use. Employees and immediate family of The Fresno Bee, and any/all of the participating giveaway sponsors, are not eligible to win. By accepting a giveaway, recipient consents to allow the use of his/her name and/or photograph for advertising or similar promotions without further compensation. Winner releases all sponsors of liability regarding use and enjoyment of the prizes. Tax liabilities and insurance, if any, are sole responsibility of the winner. No purchase necessary to win.

Trick question. There is no retail price. You could only rent those phones from the telephone company! BTW, this is WITH Bob Barker right?!
