arrow Worst Flier of the Week: Spell check edition

It's been too long since we've done a Worst Flier of the Week, hasn't it? Today I have three more options for you.

They're all aesthetically ugly -- but they all also could have used some spell checkin'.

If you like all these, head over to Post No Bills and find something that's worse. Oh, and if your flier is on the list, consider hiring some better graphic designers.

Could they get someone who looks under 40 and not a transvestite? And spell check is your friend.

#2
I know it says FAT TUESDAY but at first I thought it said EAT TUESDAY. Evidently everything is "phat" here are the people just as "phat" I must know!

@wet: that DOES look like a goatee.

@mike: im so glad you bring this weekly feature to us. im continually amazed that these people think these fliers are things to be proud of.

like this: http://www.fresnobeehive.com/archives/assets_c/2009/02/26magiccity-thumb-500x2500-16819.jpg

there are so many things to discuss:

-- who's bittersweet? who cares?
-- whats up with the pointing at the camera and the sideways peace signs? and the "im so proud of the blinged-out jesus cross my mommy bought for me but still mad at her for naming me produk" look on that guy's face?
-- youre requesting purple attire? who owns freaking purple?
-- speaking of spelling, how many "hostess" do i need? 12 chicks is probably as many who'll show up to the place. you tellin me theyre all hostesses?
-- there's a guy named george whose handle is "funkalicious559"? yeah, i wanna hang with that douc, er, dude.

big fat sigh all around, man, and thats not even the worst of its kind.

I love aall dee "flyers", (our conversation Oz)...

Here's what I'm going to do bro, I'm going to attend one of the events in question and document it and then send all the video to you.

Does "Eat Tuesday" (classic by the way) have a $10 off deal... How much are they charging to get in, why are they charging to get in?

@ Mr Incognito: I've had this conversation before, too...is it "fliers" or "flyers". Obviously, the latter doesn't fly anywhere. After plenty of online research, we deemed both to be acceptable. Did you guys come up with any concrete definitions?

@Will: Dude, I own purple...but you knew that. Of course, I won't be wearing it out to any of these events....it clashes with my raiders jacket ;)

@Tweed: According to the AP style book (the Bible before which we journalists pray), the preferred spelling is "flier."

I think English might be their second language. that's true for the Aldo's event.
