As many of you know from a former blog, Edyta Sliwinska of "Dancing With the Stars" was at one time my dance partner. That's why I always wait with interest to see who the amazing dancer gets paired with in the latest round of the ABC series. To be honest, she could be teamed with a block of granite and that partner would be better than me.

ABC has just announced this years pairings. When season eight launches March 9, Sliwinska will be teamed with NFL legend Lawrence Taylor. At least Sliwinska got a partner who promises to be far more coordinated than me.

Here is the list of this year's other 12 competitors and their partners.

Belinda Carlisle, lead singer of the Go-Go's, teams with Jonathan Roberts, who returns for his sixth season.

"In Living Color" star David Alan Grier is paired with Kym Johnson, who returns for her sixth season.

Singer Jewel teams with 2006 U.S. National finalist Dmitry Chaplin, who makes his "Dancing" debut.

Olympian Shawn Johnson will dance with former "Dancing" champ Mark Ballas.

Lil' Kim, Grammy Award-winning singer, is teamed with with reigning champ Derek Hough.

"Sex and the City" star Gilles Marini teams up with two-time champion Cheryl Burke.

Rodeo great Ty Murray teams with 10 Dance Youth National champion Chelsie Hightower, who makes her series debut.

Wild man Steve-O will dance with World Swing Dance champ Lacey Schwimmer.

"Access Hollywood" co-anchor Nancy O'Dell hits the floor with Tony Dovolani, who returns for his seventh season.

Movie star Denise Richards teams with Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Songwriter Chuck Wicks teams with girlfriend and two-time champ Julianne Hough.

Silicon Valley icon Steve Wozniak will dance with Karina Smirnoff, who returns for her sixth season.
