arrow Gorham has new series, daughter

PressTour_07_05_20.JPGFresno's Christopher Gorham showed up today at the Television Critics Association tour to talk about his new CBS series "Harper's Island." The 13-part mystery series will begin in April. Think of it as "Lost" meets "10 Little Indians." Cast members will be killed each week.

If the interview had been scheduled a few days earlier, Gorham would have been a no show. Gorham's wife, Anel, gave birth to the couple's third baby on Saturday. After two sons, who are now 7 and 5 year old, the Gorhams have a daughter.

"I don't feel tired because I am so, so happy," Gorham says.

His daughter is named Alondra. She's named for the first Mexican female to conduct in New York City.

Gorham has lamented in the past he did not like to be away from his family for long periods of time because of an acting job. And "Harper's Island" films in Vancouver. The Gorhams live in Southern California.

He says this was a perfect job for him. Because of the way the show is structured, Gorham, and the rest of the cast, will only be on 13 episodes. If a second season is ordered, it will be a different concept with a different cast.

That's why Gorham agreed to be part of the CBS series. He's looking forward to just being a dad once his last few episodes of "Harper's Island" are done.

And before you ask, Gorham has no idea if he is the killer or not.
