arrow Dexter's most disturbing act? Marrying his sister

293.hall.carpenter.lc.010909.jpg

I find this beyond weird, even though, I suppose, it really isn't.

Michael C. Hall, who plays Dexter on the Showtime series of the same name, was married on New Year's day to Jennifer Carpenter, who plays Deb, Dexter's sister.

Husband and wife playing brother and sister on television? I guess it could be worse -- it could be the other way around -- but still, this news makes me cringe a little. They couldn't have waited until the series was over? I mean, how am I supposed to view these characters in the same way now? I'm still trying to get past the fact that Michael C. Hall (and Dexter by association) isn't gay -- he was that brilliant on "Six Feet Under."

What say you? Marrying the on-screen sister: creepy or no big deal?

I know it's unfair, but it still feels creepy. Just looking at the picture makes me cringe.

I'm a big fan of Dexter, but not of this. Yuk! I'll try not to think of it as I enjoy the show.

Better than her marrying Vince Masuka.

I'm more disturbed that Micheal C. Hall finds anorexia attractive.

Agreed, Suzanne. She looks like an emery board.

And Brian, is that Masuka in those commercials for the unborn-twin movie? I can't tell.

Yeah I think so and Dexter's dad is in that "movie" too...wonder if Angel has a cameo.

I really could care less who the actors marry--is this reaction why they won't say when the new Dexter season is beginning? Please, let them have an all cast orgy--who cares. Just bring us the new Dexter season and soon!

Seriously, if they cancel the show because people can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality I'm going to be pissed.
