Angelina Jolie agrees with me about Anne Hathaway
I've been giving Anne Hathaway a hard time on this blog a lot lately. It's not that I dislike the girl; in fact, she seems to be one of the few Hollywood actresses who has her head on straight. It's just that the head is tough to look at without imagining freakish clown masks.
Hathaway was the co-recipient of a Critic's Choice Award Thursday night, and there's just something about this clip of her acceptance speech delivered in a chipmunk voice while playing with her drowned rat hair that's tough to watch. Angelina Jolie appears to agree. Watch as Angelina (who, it should be said, lost to Hathaway), sums up losing to Joker Mouth Ella Enchanted with one withering look:
Tonight are the Golden Globe Awards, and Angie and Anne will square off once again in the Best Actress in a Drama category. A blunder on the Globes web site last week suggested another Hathaway win, so tune in to watch Angelina take the rubber-faced actress down, "Tomb Raider" style.

Comments:
Angelina Jolie strikes me as the kind of woman who doesnt have any female friends.
I don't trust women who dont have female friends.

You know it's gonna be REALLY awkward for us to hang out when I start dating Anne Hathaway later this year (heads up, BTW) if you keep this campaign of hate moving along, right? But that Jolie face was truly priceless...

I don't understand what the deal is with these comments at all. I think Anne Hathaway is a terrific actress with a sincere smile. She is a beautiful person on the outside, and judging by her award acceptance speech, she is a beautiful person on the inside as well. What she said seemed genuine and very unselfish.

@Brodiemash: Even though I've claimed Anne Hathaway way before The Smile blogs came up, I'll concede to you. I so want Frida Pinto from Slumdog now. Yum!
