The most disturbing Thanksgiving I know of in Fresno
Beehive friend and commenter Marcel Nunis put together this little video yesterday. (I found it on MySpace; he has no idea I'm posting it on The Beehive.)
My wife says I shouldn't call other people's videos disturbing. But I can't help myself with this one.
Um, enjoy:

Marcel? You may make an opening statement below.

Comments:
Disturbing? Try watching Rachael Ray for an hour while your grandma yells at the TV about how Ray's turkey and tomatillo soup looks like "poop." That was my Thanksgiving. (Grandma was spot-on in her assessment, by the way.)
I think Marcel's video is brills.

The immediate transition from "let it know you want it" to "I like to use a #2 Chinese chopper" was particularly worrisome.
Brilliant.

I was thinking of going semi-veggie after the new year... looks like I'm going to be swearing off of Dusty Springfield as well...

that was...awesome! seriously, funny, and the recipe is interesting.

Ahh... that explains all those hits on the sitemeter from fresnobee.com
I'm flirting with the idea of cranking out a few of these. (I promise to alert you the next time I do.) Besides, I'm pretty sure I'm out of the family will for divulging this culinary secret... so nothing can stop me now. Unless a hit is put out on me by them to the number 2 Chinese chopper assassin.
BTW... the dish is Malaysian of Portuguese Eurasian origin... just so you know.

...which explains all those Malaysian-Portuguese-Eurasian eunuchs running around... (scarey stuff... I swear man, after seeing that? I'm as anatomically correct as a Ken-Doll...) Perhaps a line o video contrceptives would be more appropriate.

So this is what you've been doing Marcel . . .
Cool. I'm sure we'll be seeing you with your own show on the Food Network sometime soon.

@Heather: Meh that's nothing. A kid broke his arm wrestling around, my aunt asked if my recently ex-girlfriend had an eating disorder cause she would never eat a lot at Thanksgiving (I told me aunt my ex just hated her cooking), and my sister and I saw an UFO. Good times.

Why are there always so many inside conversation with HMAC and Michael? seems like every blog
Posted by: joeg at November 28, 2008 5:27 PM
@joeg: How is it inside if it's posted right here for everyone to read?
Also: So?
Posted by: Heather at November 28, 2008 8:46 PM
@joeg: How in the hell is that an inside conversation. I simply stated that my Thanksgiving was more disturbing than hers.

Thanks for the new curry recipe. Is it acceptable to cook this nude, as long as I wear an apron?

@ Vince - whatever spices up the experience for you. Go for it!
