No, seriously. What is happening with Joaquin Phoenix?
I like to call this move the "Ashley Todd":
Rehab. It's not just for herped-up, retarded socialites anymore. Look into it, Nature Boy.
PREVIOUSLY ON THE BEEHIVE:
Hey, what happened to Joaquin Phoenix?

Comments:
Joaquin Phoenix, as well as his siblings, were raised in an extremely disturbed religious sect (cult) called the 'Children of God' (aka the Family Intl.)
-Of the many problems with the conduct of their former leader David (Moses) Berg
-was a LOT of extremely early aged sexual interraction between adults and kids.
Little kids.
The women also were taught/used to engage in a bizarre practice of prostitution to get men into the cult and/or procure funds.
This was from the Late Sixties on up to the Early-Mid Eighties, ---with very strong suspicion that the group has never ceased with their founders practices, (they are for the most part (now) located in various foreign countries,(though they had a long time 'main base' here in California.)
Even though they (Phoenix and his siblings,) (now) distance themselves from the group?, (as have a lot of the kids who were raised in it,
---especially after the 'next intended leader' (Davidito) killed one of his earliest caretakers and then blew his brains out (within the past couple of years,)
He, by the way was featured in a series of manuals (pictures and all, from early childhood on up through adolescence,) on how to go about exploiting and corrupting children in this manner.
(There's been a pretty widely viewed news documentary on this on mainstream TV in recent years.)
-It really needs to be understood that anyone raised by these people may have a few 'issues,' to deal with.
-Even with a ton of counselling and therapy,
I'd not expect a smooth ride for any of these unfortunate souls, -especially any kid who was born and raised in this.
(Phoenix's parents were missionaries in South America for this group, he and most or all of his siblings were raised there.)

He's about to throw a one two combo starting with a jab from the left.
Either that or he also has trouble with mirrors.

It's called overdosing on a heady cocktail of your own pretentiousness.
