Fashawn's new video gettin' some national buzz
Count this as another move made for Fresno rapper Fashawn. Here's the video for his new single "Our Way," which features Evidence of Dilated Peoples and is produced by Exile of Blu & Exile fame. It's headed for play on mtvU.
The video is quite slick and major props are in order for director Punit Dhesi. He's a local guy, who also did "F.A.S.H.A.W.N." and Chuck Dimes' "Milk Money" video. Warning: Language NSFW
The video has already landed on the big hip-hop blogs. Fashawn, meanwhile, is doing a show at House of Blues in Los Angeles on Tuesday with Evidence. The two of them are performing in Fresno on Dec. 23 at Starline.

This whole time I've been preoccupied with what Fresno BAND will be the first to truly "make it" and it looks like it will be an uber-talented dude like Fashawn (knock on wood).
This is a great video and song. Thanks Mike Oz for letting us nerds in on what's cool in the streets of The No.

This video (along with his song "One Shot, One Kill" make Fashawn out to be a gangsta.
Sorry to burst his shtreet rep, but Fashawn was one of the nicest people I've ever met in the music business. He has been unfailingly polite, kind, and good-hearted every time I've had the chance to speak with him.
I wish him the very best in the industry, and I, too, as a longtime video director, give props to Punit Dhesi, an absolute up-and-coming director.
