OMG! I love Mother's Cookies. The sugar wafers and the scrumptious square chocolate chip cookies and the English tea cookies ...

Damn AIG. I bet they're somehow to blame for this dastardly development. Can we make them take some part of that nearly $123 billion we're loaning them to re-open Mother's?

Ugh, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Are you kidding???? AAAAGGHHHH!!!!
There's something wrong in the world today when Pepperidge Farms is still allowed to sell those horrid Milano and Chessmen cookies and Mothers is saying good bye.
I gotta hit up longs for all the bags of Circus Parade!

This is what we're left with: plenty of milk and no cookies.

And the Taffy's, the wonderfully delicious Taffy's!!!!!!!!!!
Oh the humanity!

Wait, did I miss something? When did this happen?
You mean to tell me there won't be anymore frosted animal cookies or gingerbread men at holiday time? What will I dunk in my hot cocoa?

I wonder if this will cause my Mother's Cookies baseball cards to increase in value. Mother's always put together a good team set.

Why do bad things happen to good cookies?

hahahah @travis -- that was like the second thing I thought of. I still got some of those 1986/1987 A's and Giants sets at the house.

LOL, those cards are like error cards now! Check out the next Beckett... WHOA, just kidding.

I'm going to purchase a bag just so I can show my children what they missed out!

Oh! How sad! =(

I'm officially in mourning now. Stinking new world order. We should all run, not walk, to the nearest store to see if any bags are left and store them in the mattress with our money.

I loved those cookies. But what was with the oily film they left in your mouth?

If this band had a dime for everytime we've heard that line...

"I love the Suppressors. Buts what is with the oily film they leave in your mouth?!'

This day will go down in infamy. Now this is the bailout the Feds should take up.

Maybe, if we're lucky, they're being purchased by a larger company and will come back somehow. Maybe, like a See's candy kind of deal, there'll be outlets for Mother's Cookies. Yeah, I like that idea. I'll just make believe that from now on.
